Dark-k: Hello everyone. Sorry for another hiatus. My computer died on me and I lost all of my stuff related to the Red Dragon Empress story because I forgot to save my work on my USB like I did with this story. So please wait while I try to rewrite the whole chapter again. Now time for the match against the Excalibur users.
Chapter 12: The Showdown
"It seems I have to force you to apologize," Takashi said with anger in his words.
"Fine then. With this I can destroy the stain of the history of the holy swords," Xenovia said with a smirk on her face.
"Mind if I join," said a voice?
Everyone looked over to see Yuuto leaning on the door.
"Who are you," Irina asked?
"Your senpai," Yuuto said in a dark tone as he glared at the Excalibur users.
"Yuuto, where have you been," Rias asked with slight anger in her voice?
"Looking for Freed," Yuuto said coldly as he stepped forward to look Mary straight in the eye.
"Our senpai, huh. What makes you say that," Irina asked?
"I'm the only survivor of the Holy Sword Project," Yuuto said with anger in his voice as he made a sword appear in his hand and pointed it at Irina.
"Sword Birth. So it is true," Mary said as she removed the cloth on her Excalibur. It's a rapier like sword with a spiral going from the handle to the tip of the sword.
"It seems a fight is unavoidable now," Rias said with a sigh as she crossed her arms.
"So it seems. I take it that you do not want us to fight here then, Rias Gremory," Mary said to Rias without looking away from Yuuto.
"I do. So let's go outside for this little "sparring" match. Let's say five minutes," Rias asked with a stern look on her face?
"That sounds just fine," Takashi, Yuuto, and Xenovia said in unison with anger in their voices.
Takashi then backed off of Xenovia and gave her the Excalibur back, which she snatched from his hand.
"Mary-san, why do you and I need to fight," Irina asked her teammate as the three from the Church headed done the hallway?
"To keep Xenovia alive," Mary said sternly.
"I'll defeat that stain with my Excalibur Destruction," Xenovia said as she lifted the sword over her shoulder.
"That's the reason. We do not know if the Excaliburs will listen to us since we are fighting Excalibur's chosen," Mary said as she looked at her sword.
Irina had a look of worry on her face while Xenovia continued to look angered.
Back with the ORC.
Rias walked over to Takashi and Yuuto. "Do you two know what you were thinking? They are Excalibur users, one cut could kill you! Takashi, I don't care that you are Excalibur's chosen, be careful," she yelled to her servants?
"I don't care about that either, Buchou. But they insulted Asia-chan and I couldn't stand it," Takashi said to Rias with determination in his eyes.
Asia then hugged Takashi, surprising the boy.
"Asia-chan," Takashi said in surprise.
"Thank you, Takashi-san, for standing up for me," Asia said with happiness in her voice.
"You're welcome, Asia-chan," Takashi said with a smile as he patted Asia's head.
Rias smiled at her newer servants. She then looked at Yuuto with a stern look on her face. "Now, Yuuto. Where have you been," she asked with a hint of anger in her voice?
"Looking for Freed, but after today I do not have to," Yuuto said with a dark smile on his face.
Rias sighed knowing she could not talk him out of this.
Outside in the forest that surrounds the old school building Rukia was heading to try to walk home with Takashi. As she saw the front door, Mary, Irina, and Xenovia coming out the door. She was about to say something but she saw the swords Mary and Xenovia had. She then his behind a tree. 'Why do they have swords,' she thought?
Then the ORC came out the door. Rukia was shocked to see Takashi with the Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing on him. 'What are those things on Nii-chan,' she thought? Before she could do anything everyone disappeared. "What! Where did everyone go," Rukia said in shock?!
Everyone else was still outside the old school building but were inside a barrier.
"With this no one will see us," Rias said to the Excalibur users.
"Thank you Rias Gremory," Mary said as she, Irina, and Xenovia Removed their robes to reveal that all three of them were wearing skin tight black comeback gear that showed off their curves and breasts. Irina has normal sized breasts, while Xenovia has large breasts but not as big as Rias and Akeno's, and Mary's breasts are somewhere in between.
Takashi blushed at the sight of the battle gear.
"Takashi-san, before we start can I ask you something," Irina asked the silver haired boy?
"What do you want to ask, Irina-san," Takashi asked with a calm voices knowing she is not the source of his anger.
"Does Ru-chan know that you are a devil," Irina asked with a stern look on her face?
"No she doesn't and hopefully she never will. I didn't want her to be in my dangerous life. That's why I moved out of the house so she and our parents could live normal lives," Takashi said with a slight smile.
"You're a very kind big brother, Takashi-san. I wish you did not have to leave your family. I'll pray to the Lord for your salvation," Irina said with a sad smile on her face at the news.
"Rukia-chan was the one that truly saved me. After the accident I stayed in my room and didn't talked to anyone but Rukia-chan, who came and visited me every day and talked to me about her day and played games with me until I came out," Takashi said with a big smile.
"Takashi-san," Irina said with a slight blush forming on her face.
"If you are done Irina, I want to get this over with," Xenovia said in anger as she pointed her Excalibur at Takashi, who looked back at her with anger in his eyes.
"Takashi I will let you deal with the one with the broad sword, leave the other two to me," Yuuto said sternly as he pointed his sword at Mary.
Takashi walked up to Yuuto so that they were face to face and said ", sorry about this, Yuuto-kun."
"Why are you sor… ," Yuuto said until Takashi punched him in his stomach with the Boosted Gear, knocking him out.
"Takashi," Rias said in shock.
"Sorry, Buchou but Yuuto-kun would have gotten himself hurt in this fight because he was not thinking straight," Takashi said as he dragged Yuuto to where the "spectator" section was. "Koneko-chan, can you watch over him," he asked?
"Yes, Takashi-senpai," Koneko said with a nod.
"So you want to fight all three of us by yourself," Xenovia said coldly as she got into a battle stance.
"Ddraig is it ready," Takashi asked the dragon?
[Ready to go at any time, Aibou,] Ddraig said with a "go get them" tone.
"Welsh Dragon Balance Breaker," yelled the gem on the Boosted Gear as a red light covered Takashi. When the light died down Takashi was in his red Scale Mail.
"Balance Breaker," Mary and Irina yelled in shock at the sight of the dragon armor!
Xenovia remained silent at the sight of her opponent's armor.
"Xenovia-san, I don't think we can win this. He has the Balance Breaker of one of his sacred gears, we do not know if he has the Balance Breaker of Divine Dividing as well," Irina pleaded to her team mate.
"If it's the three of us, God will grant us victory over this filth," Xenovia said with anger in her voice.
"I'm sorry about this Takashi. Xenovia is hot headed and when she gets like this she never listens. I wished we could have met before you became a devil. If that happened, we could have been allies," Mary said as she stood behind Xenovia and Irina.
Irina pulled on a rope tied to her arm and in a flash it turned into a samurai sword.
"That could not have happened, Mary-san. My birth father was a devil and my mother was human, so I am a Halfling," Takashi said with a touch of sadness in his voice.
"Are you from one of the missing pillars," Irina asked, surprised at the new information?
"You could say that," Takashi said with a laugh as he stood in front of the three girls.
"We meet once again kid," said a masculine voice.
"Hay boss," said a childlike voice.
"Hello master," said a dark female voice.
"I guess you were right, Mary-san. I can hear the swords' voices. Your's has the voice of a woman, Irina-san's sounds like a kid, and Xenovia-san's sound like a body builder," Takashi said as he got into a stance.
Irina laughed a little at hearing that Xenovia's Excalibur sounds like a body builder.
"Enough talk! Today I rid the world of this devil in the name of God," Xenovia yelled as she charged at Takashi. She tried to swipe at his chest from the side but Takashi punched the flat side of the sword to avoid the attack.
"Kid, to let you know my name is Excalibur Destruction. My name can tell you what I can do, so watch out," Xenovia's sword, now known as Excalibur Destruction, warned.
'So I need to avoid Xenovia-san even more now,' Takashi thought as he jumped back from Xenovia and launching a Shot Gun attack at her.
Irina then jumped in front of the attack as her sword turned into a large shield. The shield blocked Takashi's attack.
"Yo, boss. My name is Excalibur Mimic and as you can see I am a shape shifting sword," Irina's weapon, Excalibur Mimic, said joyfully.
Takashi used Divine Dividing to fly above Xenovia and Irina and pelted the area with shots of demonic energy. The blasts kicked up dirt, which obscured everyone's vision.
Irina, who turned Mimic back into a samurai sword, and Xenovia went back-to-back to defend against the next attack. The next thing they knew they were jumping out of the way from Takashi charging them. Xenovia tried to turn around to attack Takashi but she fell over. She looked at her leg to see that Takashi used the tail of his armor to trip her.
Takashi took this chance to use his tail to toss Xenovia at Irina. On collision, Xenovia dropped Destruction as she and Irina fell a few yards away from Takashi. Takashi flew towards the two girls, grabbing Destruction on the way.
"Let's win this, Kid," Destruction said as Takashi attacked Irina and Xenovia with it.
To avoid the attack, Irina turned Mimic into a rope attached to a nearby tree to pull herself and Xenovia out of the way.
Takashi's attack caused an explosion that cleared the dirt out of the air and made an extra-large crater about thirty feet deep.
Everyone was shocked to see the crater.
"Is Excalibur Destruction more powerful in his hands then Xenovia-san's! This is at least three times what Xenovia-san can do," Irina said in shock at the sight of the destruction.
"You held back," Mary said as she walked up to the edge of the crater to look at Takashi.
"I did not know how powerful Destruction was, so I did a light swing," Takashi said as he flew out of the crater.
"A light swing! I will not accept a devil who can use a holy sword better than a believer of the Almighty Father," Xenovia said in anger as she stood up from where she and Irina landed. She put her right hand out to her side as the space near it distorts. "(insert Durandal summon chant here), come…," Xenovia chanted until Mary knocked her out with her sword's handle, which stopped the distortion.
Mary caught Xenovia before she hit the ground. "I'm sorry about this Takashi but Xenovia was about to do something she is not supposed to do, so I am going to ask that you settle your match another time," Mary asked with a bow?
"That's fine. But tell her when she gets up that if she apologizes to Asia-chan, then we don't have to fight," Takashi said as he landed near Mary. He then stabbed Destruction into the ground as his armor disappeared.
"Hey kid. Why are you leaving me with them? You're a better user then muscles for brains," Destruction asked?
Takashi laughed at the last part Destruction said as he said ", Destruction you must remain with Xenovia-san. She needs you more than me right now."
Outside the barrier Rukia was looking around to find everyone. When the barrier began to disappear, Rukia jumped behind a tree out of reflex. She was shocked to see the damage from the fight and to see the unconscious Xenovia.
"Thanks again for your time," Mary said as she and Irina bowed. They covered themselves, their swords and Xenovia with their robes and clothes before leaving.
"Why didn't you use Boost or Divide," Rias asked as Takashi walked over to the group?
"I did not want to destroy the area so I fought with just the armor so I could defend myself better," Takashi said as he rubbed his knuckles were he punched Destruction.
Rias sighed as she said ", just promise me that you won't start a pointless fight like that again."
"I promise, Buchou," Takashi said as he picked Yuuto up. "Now let's get Yuuto-kun inside," he said as he took Yuuto back into the club room.
"Nii-chan," Rukia said to herself as she ran away from the old school build in disbelief.
It was night when Xenovia woke up in a church. "Where am I," She asked as she rubbed the spot on her head where Mary hit her?
"We're in the church where we will be staying at while on our mission," Mary said as she gave Xenovia a glass of water. While Xenovia gulped down the water, Mary said ", you know you can control "that" sword very well. So why did you try to use it for a pointless fight like that?"
"I'm sorry, Mary. I was not thinking clearly. But for a chosen to show up so soon and for him to be a devil, is a shame," Xenovia said as she put the empty glass down.
"Irina and I were thinking of asking for Takashi's help to find the stolen Excaliburs," Mary said as she sat down next to Xenovia.
Xenovia sighed knowing that with Takashi's help they could get there mission done faster. "That seems to be our best option," she said with a discouraged look.
"That's good that you are onboard but there is one thing you have to do first," Mary said with a smile.
With a confused look Xenovia asked ", what's that?"
"You have to apologize to Asia Argent," Mary said.
Xenovia's face then formed a look of discomfort at the words her teammate said.
