"Are you sure this thing are working right, and not just going off?" asked Marlene.
"No, I'm quite positive I made this to only go off if the two are together." Kowalski said.
"So that means that Skipper is going to be my date. Grate, everyone in the zoo thinks were dating, and after this. They're going to think it was all true."
"So what, let them think that, we all know that you and I are just friends right." Skipper said, and then sees everyone looking away and mumbling about something. "Right!" he says a little harder.
"Well." Started Kowalski.
"You guys are together all of the time." continued Private.
"you guys never really do anything romantic ways." Said Stacy.
"And you two always fight about random things some time, like a married couple." Said Becky.
"But we wouldn't say you guys are." Said Doric.
"Yes in love" finished Rico, making everyone look at him.
"So you all do think we have some think going on."
"What. No, no, no. we would never….yes, yes we have." They all said together.
"Wow, thanks a lot, even after I told you there's nothing going on. And Private, are you ok wit being Becky and Stacy date, even thou you afraid if them?"
"No that much anymore, because of them constantly coming by, I've gotten used to them, I think I could handle being with them for the night." He said then was tackled.
"That means so much." Started Stacy.
"That you finally came around." continued Becky.
"And want to hang with us again." They said together.
"That's all find and dandy. Now it's time for lights out." Skipper said trying to shoo away Becky, Stacy, and Doris.
"Wait!" Marlene said, "I'll accept the fact that I have to go with you as my date if you tell us what the ride is that's in my home." She demanded.
"I've told you…" he didn't finish.
"Yeah we all know, but come on, its tomorrow, were going to know any ways, and it's just us, were not going to blab about it, right girls."
"Right, everyone in the zoo can't handle." Started Stacy
"How hipper we can get." Finished Becky.
"And I know how to keep secrets, isn't that right Kowalski." Said Doris and then winked at him.
Kowalski blushed so red after that. "Yeah I think we can trust them.
"Fine I'll tell you, but first. Man weep for any unwanted guest." He said watching Kowalski, Rico, and Private sliding around the room.
"All clear."
"Good, now I want all of you to swear to never speck of this outside this room until after the fair." The all nodded their heads, and the room got so quiet. "The ride in Marlene's habitat is called." And right before he said anything.
"Mort, shut up a little, I can't hear what they are saying." Everyone hears Julian say that.
"Rico, distribute." Skipper order, and he passed out gas masked to everyone. "Knock out gas." Rico then walked to where the lemurs were hiding and he gave them a bomb, and walked away. And the boom, there were sleeping like baby's.
"Ok now where was I, oh right, the ride is 'the tunnel of love' Kowalski."
"Research shows that 67% of girls like that kind of thing, so we thought why not. And I put together a brain scanner, that will scan your brain and your dates brain to find all the time you've spent together, and reconstruct it, so that it shows romantic moments you ether wish happened or seeing it again, and if there is not that meant times it will create the best possible outcome you and your date could have or can have." Kowalski finished explaining.
"But what if you never meet them before?" asked Doris.
"Like I said I'll make something from you mind. Like Marlene said, she would like to be courts by having her name spelled out in oyster and have Spanish guitars playing."
"There now you all know, it's time for lights out so goodnight Skipper said pushing them out and then throwing the lemurs back to their habitat.
The next morning.
"UP AND ATOM PEOPLE ITS TIME TO WAKE UP!" skipper yelled dogging a pillow Marlene throw at him. "You going to have to wake up earlier in the morning to hit me with a pillow Dall."
"Let's just get this over with, I'm going over to Doris later for a while." She said.
"Then hop to it. We don't have all day, will be doing lightning training."
"Are we going to be dogging tennis ball again?" Marlene said half way up.
"Nope, were going to be dogging lightning from one of Kowalski machine." He said.
Marlene stopped and them hoped down and walked back to bed, "wake me when we just do normal training." She then pulled the pillow over her face.
Latter after Skipper somehow convinced her to do the training and they split up before the fair. Over at the Dolphins.
"Oh my gosh Stacy, can't you believe that were finally going to the fair."
"I know right, this is going to be so cool."
"Yay, this is going to be so awesome." Marlene said sarcastically. Brushing her fur, making it look nice and pretty.
"Then if you don't want to go on this date with Skipper, why are you working so hard to look so good?" Doris said with a smirk.
"Just because I'm going with Skipper to this thing, doesn't mean I shouldn't look my best for others."
"Are you sure it's not for Skipper?" said Becky.
"So he can finally notice you." Finished Stacy.
"Like I really care if he does, were just friends." She said finishing brushing her fur.
"You know you've never told us how you guys meet." Said Doris.
"It's nothing to special, we meet like any other animal that's new to the Zoo."
Flash back.
One cool afternoon in central park zoo. Everything is normal at first glance, then the zookeepers come and place a box in the new otter habitat, and this was a closed day so no visitors. When they opened the box they left and would come back later.
"So I guess this is my new home, its ok, can't compete with my old home in California." Said the new otter walking out of the box.
"We got are self's a California spy boy." Said a voice from some ware she didn't know.
When she was looking around and came face to face with black and white less than an inch away from her face and blushed from how close he was, she screamed and somehow knock over the thing whit her tail and started to run then was tackled by some other blur of black and white, "let me go, this is not how you treat women." She said squirming. And then she saw that they were penguins
"Silence spy, I'm going to be asking you some questions. Do you work with Dr. Blowhole?"
"Dr. How what?" she said.
"How about the Denmark embassy."
"I said I come from California."
"That's it for now, come on boys back to HQ." and then they were gone. She ran to the wall in time to see them open the fish bowl and jump in.
The next day.
"Sir, I are you sure we had to be that ruff with her, she was new to the zoo." Asked the smallest one.
Then the fishbowl open and in came the otter, "hi guys, I know we didn't get off…"
"Intruder!" then she felt being tackled again, but form the one how said it, and was really close to her face that she blushed again, "I know you where spy, what are you doing here!"
"I'm not a spy, I just wanted to introduce myself."
"Fine then, but I'm watching you." He said. Getting off her.
"Thank you, well then. Hi there, my name Marlene, what are you yours?"
"That's classified, I still haven't disprove you're a…"
"I think we can trust her Skipper." said the small one.
"Really Private, I just said my name classified, why you would tell them after I say it, what if she's a spy."
"I'm not a spy, you guys can trust me." She said.
"Kowalski baloney detector." Skipper said.
"Rico." Kowalski said. Rico hacked up a baloney, Kowalski then poked a hole in it and looked up at Marlene. "I can't find any traces of baloney."
"So I can't call her a phony baloney."
"Ha, cute." Marlene said sarcastically. "So now that I know all your name, what do you guys do for fun?"
"Trying to get Intel from us, spy."
"No, I'm genuinely asking, I meet most of the others animals around the Zoo, and they all say you guys are crazy. I can see why, but I still want to know about you guys."
"Well we run around and protect the Zoo from and enemy attacks." Said Private.
"Private, stop giving away are you the enemy."
"I'm just trying to be friendly."
"Manfredi and Johnson where 'trying to be friendly' and look what happened to them."
"Who and who?" asked Marlene.
"Classified."
"That must be your favorite word." She did a little giggle. "I can see you guys are busy, so I'll come back another time, bye guy, I'm going to introduce myself to the lemurs next." And then she was gone.
"She seemed nice." Private said, earning a smack to the head.
End flash back.
"And from that day on, things seem to have been going better, Skipper sees me to trust me more, and this is why he like to intrude into my home whenever he feel like it."
"So you did have a crush on him when you meet him." Said Becky.
Marlene was taken back by this and pulled the brush too hard through her fur. "OW, what no, no, no, it wasn't like that." She said starting to blush.
"Then why whenever you talked about him you started to bush." Said Stacy.
"It was just that he was really close to me, no one ever was that close before." She said blushing at the thought of Skipper being that close to her again. "Besides are friendship is purely platonic."
"Marlene just say it, you really like him." Doris sad showing a genuine smile.
"Even if that is true, he obviously doesn't see me as nothing more than a friend." She said and put a blue flower behind her right ear. "I mean look at all the girls has loved. Kitka the falcon, Lola the bobble head hula dancer, and 'Arlene the rare artic mink', that was just me bleached fur. If he did have feeling for me, he would have shown it by now. It a lot easier to like someone who like you then to like someone who doesn't." (An. I wonder why that's sounds so familiar, bet you can't find out from ware.) "Well how do I look?" she said.
"You look grate, Skipper can't ignore you now. I think it about time we meet up with the guy." Said Doris
"Last one there." said Becky
"Is a rotten fish." Said Stacy
"Hay, wait up" both Doris and Marlene say.
Ok, that another chapter done with, I'm thinking of putting the thing I've wanted to put in here seen the begging and the vary reason I made this story, I wanted to do it because of the episode with the same name, and thought something very different. I'll have to see if I could do it and someone has to tell me how to put in YouTube videos, because you have to see the video I saw that is going to be the best thing about this story.
