Sorry if I haven't been replying to any Beta Reader applicants, really I am. And I'm publishing this thing without a beta. Really, really sorry for the late update. School's busy, more than usual and hope this chapter would satisfy you.
So yeah, this thing has not been betaed yet. So any mistakes, sorry.
And I'm sorry if I didn't see any of your reviews or replied to them because, no, I really am sorry. I really have no excuse to disappoint my readers. Sorry

Borderline T. I think.

Rin shivered violently inside the room that Bon's mother kindly let her stay in for the night and for the moment she oddly felt so cold, that she could almost see her own breath. Sitting on her futon, she wrapped her blanket around herself leaving only her face to be seen.
Rin felt oddly terrified of tomorrow.
And she almost wished that it would never come.
XxX
Bon looked up at the ceiling and frowned to himself, wondering why his parents didn't allow Rin to have a sleep-over with them, even his usual easy going father denied their request.
"Psst. Bon, are you still awake?"
Bon was jolted out of his thoughts by Shima's whisper, if it could be called that, and turned his head to look at his friend that situated his own futon beside him.
"What is it Shima?" The boy, in return looked oddly sheepish and was fidgeting in his place, Shima's eyes darted around until it found the courage to look at Bon directly in the eye.
"Ne, Bon do you feel anything wrong? 'Cause I-"
"What do you mean 'wrong'?" The brunet interrupted and he was rewarded with a small sigh, but Shima answered his friend's question nonetheless.
"I don't know, I just feel a-a-pperehensive?"
Bon rolled his eyes a little. "It's apprehensive." And he frowned thoughtfully. "Why would you feel that?"
Shima shrugged helplessly wanting the feeling to go away.
"I feel it too." A voice murmured beside Bon's other side. "It's like something bad would happen."
Bon turned around again to face Konekomaru and he saw the boy's eyes screwed shut, facing the ceiling like what he was doing earlier.
"Don't say that!" Bon whispered harshly, surprising the two boys beside him. "Everything would be fine tomorrow, just like usual."
Though, even Bon hardly believed his own words and the odd buzzing that settled in his stomach ever since Shima spoke didn't disappear.
'Everything would be fine.' Bon chanted in his mind. 'Just like usual.'

"Heehee. Let's see who would be my next victim?" A man of no distictive characteristics, other than the long coat he was wearing, murmured to himself. Leaving an alley behind, oddly smelling like copper. He let his tongue slide along a long knife settled his left hand, dripping with an unknown red substance.
For a second, a light flickered in the alley the man just left, showing a gruesome sight of a dog covered in its own blood. It's guts and stomach for all to see and his legs cut off from his body. The dog's eyes were opened widely, glassy due to his death but it only made the sign more stomach wrenching.
But just like that the light stopped flickering, leaving the crazy man walking away from the crime scene whilst humming, with a little jump on his steps.
The man stopped suddenly, his body convulsing making him drop his stained knife on the cement a strangled groan escaped his lips and all of a sudden everything stilled.
The atmosphere became heavy and black beings appeared as small as flies, called coal tar by exorcists, suddenly surged towards the crazy man.
A massive amount of coal tar swirled around him, covering him head to toe, only to disperse a second later leaving a demonic being behind.
His teeth became canine like and a pair of goat-like spiral horns could be found just above his ears, his eyes became red and a tail appeared at his behind completing his demonic ensemble.
"Hm," the demon flexed the fingers of the human he possessed and frowned thoughtfully. "It is not be the best vessel for me but it would have to do."
He sighed and picked up the knife that lay on the ground. "His Majesty should be pleased if I manage to complete this task he appointed me."
The demon possessed human suddenly grinned maliciously revealing his impressive set of canines. "Astaroth lives to serve his Majesty after all."
Astaroth looked at the stained knife in his left hand and watched as the object slowly rot, it's handle none existent and blade growing more brittle at the moment.
He looked up at the almost full moon and murmured to himself. "I wonder where you are, Child of Satan."

Teal colored eyes opened in a flutter, and for a moment it looked like slits appeared in the middle of it's pupils, but as soon as it showed itself it vanished in a flash.
The figure sat on his bed, heaving heavy breaths and clutching the place where his heart was located. A bout of thunder roared loudly and lightning streaked the sky, showing the face of the figure.
Yukio's figure appeared to be shivering in the dark, his eyes darted everywhere and once he stopped clutching his chest, he hugged his own frame.
"Wha-what happened?" Yukio stuttered his eyes appeared bigger and glassy, due to unshed tears.
He held his breath for a moment and exhaled, he repeated his actions until he was significantly calmer and was able to think logically. Teal eyes looked outside the window and for the first time his ears heard the hard pitter patter of the rain, lightning once again struck one by one followed by deafening roars of thunder.
"It must've been the thunder," the brunet mumured to himself, resolute to stop his shaking. Yukio looked outside his window once again and said with a bit more confidence. "Really, it must've been just the thunder."
But he was still shaking and it looked like it wouldn't stop anytime soon.

Shiro settled his chin on top of his interwined fingers and gazed flatly at the demon who was sitting opposite to him.
"What do you mean," Shiro started darkly. "By 'unconsciously summoning her flames', Mephisto?"
"Just like what I said Shiro," the King of Time calmly said while sipping on some green tea. "It seems that Rin's flames are more powerful than what we could have expected and the flames, in return, want to physically manifest in her."
Shiro creased his eyebrows and prompted the purplehaired demon to continue.
"As I was saying, Rin's flames are unconsciously calling out to her which might explain while her emotion can change sporiadically, because the flames want to be used." Mephisto paused for a second and confessed quite reluctantly. "Even I do not know the exact powers of the blue flames, since out of all of us siblings only Rin inherited it from father."
"Oh, really?" Shiro asked curiously with a hint of sarcasm leaking in his tone.
Mephisto pursed his lips, whether on the fact that Shiro used sarcasm or something else but didn't say anything more.
"Fine don't answer that question," Shiro sighed. "What I'd like to know is what happened to Rin that she would 'unconsciously' summon her flames?"
The demon raised a purple eyebrow that seemed to scream 'do you really want to know?' and the Paladin could only twitch in response.
"So what do you propose? That we put more seals in the Kurikura? I know for a reason that the sword doesn't really work like that."
"Perhaps not," Mephisto mused swirling his cup of green tea and gave the Paladin a glance. "But, remember Shiro, there is always option number two."
Shiro tensed and his interwined fingers seemed to clutch tighter once Mephisto spoke the last three words, his red eyes seemed to burn like magma and his gaze for a millisecond became that of an exorcist, a demon killer. Assesing how hard ot would be to take down the demon before him.
Mephisto in the other hand maintaned a calm facade, sipping his tea nonchalantly, but his eyes hardened, from forest green to that of emeralds.
"No."
The demon paused in his movement and held the exorcist's gaze, then Mephisto began to hum, green eyes blazing, glittering, with power.
"You don't seem to understand Shiro, because truthfully you have no say in the matter." Mephisto paused, acting like he remembered something amazing and smiled deviously. "Afterall, what would the higher-ups think when their very own Paladin chose to raise the children of their most hated villain? They would be appalled, completely and utterly appalled."
Shiro gritted his teeth, but held the demon's gaze like nothing. Thought swirled around his mind but he could never let option two become reality.
And the game of the kings begun.

Rin's eyes shot open and a yawn erupted from her mouth, rubbing the sleep away from her eyes and paused for a moment. Gathering her thoughts as to why she was inside a very traditional japanese room.
A bright, sunny smile appeared on her face when she remembered yesterday's events, ignoring the cold sweat that she felt and headed towards the bathroom to make herself presentable. Feeling glad that at least the teachers didn't sabotage her so that she wasn't prepared for the fieldtrip and very grateful for the change of clothes, she didn't really want to wear any of the yukatas Okami-san offered, it was very beautiful, but it looked a little restricting to her.
More restricting than usual.
Rin looked at the bathroom with a traditional japanese flare, it was very different to what they had in the monastery, but she appreciated the beauty it held. Grinning exuberantly, Rin was going to enjoy the bath, even if it would make her skin wrinkly.
Not that it ever happened, mind you.
After taking a bath, Rin opted to not to tie her navy hair just yet seeing as it was wet and let it flow freely, almost reaching her waist. Now wearing something that her clothes mostly consisted of, a dark blue hoodie with a pink t-shirt underneath and black cargo shorts that just stopped below her knee. She put her used clothing inside her cat bag and slung it over her right shoulder, pausing for a second and decided to fix the futon she slept in.
When that was done, she reached the door of her room and chose to wear the socks she used yesterday, after giving it a careful sniff, and wore her black converse sneakers. Her ensemble now complete she nodded to herself and checked if she tied her sneakers tightly.
She ran a hand through her hair and feeling that it wasn't overtly wet anymore, Rin decided to tie it on it's usual pony tail, leaving some of her bangs to frame her face and headed to the hallway.
Almost bumping into a certain ten-year old Shima and recieving two knocks at her head.
"What was that for?" Rin scowled and rubbed the part where the Shima hit her, looking irritatedly at the elder boy.
Kinzo blinked at Rin's choice of clothes and tilted his head, but answered her question nonetheless. "Nothing, Chibi-chan! Okami-san just wanted me to wake you up since the three piggies just got out of bed and she decided that it was time for breakfast."
"That doesn't mean you had to knock at my head." Rin said, quite annoyed and was rewarded with a sheepish smile.
"It wasn't my fault that you chose to open the door at the same time I was supposed to knock."
Rin knew that he was right so she let it go, and instead focused at the matter at hand. Giving the boy a blinding smile, she asked the boy about the thought that was floating inside her head ever since she woke up.
"Food?"
"Hai, Chibi-chan. Food."
Laughter erupted from Kinzo when the little figure beside him ran faster that he's ever seen before, and decided to follow her albeit in a more sedate pace.
XxX
The three piggies, aka Bon, Konekomaru, and Renzou, all sat around a low table wearing their pajamas and yawns breaking out of their mouths every now and then.
"Where's," Renzou yawned abrupty. "Rin-chan?"
"Probably still in bed," Bon replied, head laying on the table before them. A glint of metal appeared and struck Bon solidly on the head.
Bon's head jerked abruptly at the pain and he touched the area where the ladle landed on his head, tears in the corner of his eyes.
"That hurt." Bon whimpered in pain, wondering if he should risk it and glare at his mother and receive another strike or just bear the pain for now.
Bon being the smart boy he is, decided on the latter.
"FOOD!"
All of the four current occupants of the kitchen snapped their attention at the blue blur that was quickly heading their way and watched as the blur skidded to a halt once she reached the doorway.
All of them, sans Kinzo who followed after Rin, blinked at the girl's change of clothes, Torako Suguro going as far as gasping in horror at what she was wearing. Bon also felt oddly sad and somehow a little relieved, the other side of his mind thinking that Rin wouldn't mind playing with 'boys', since she was wearing boy clothes, and the other sad about her change of clothes, not knowing why.
Renzo also felt mildly disappointed, yet didn't mind that much and Konekomaru, being himself, didn't mind the girl's clothing and greeted Rin with a polite 'Good morning'.
Rin tilted her head at the varying response she received and shrugged it off, deciding to greet them enthusiastically instead.
"Good morning!"
"Good morning Rin-chan," Torako replied faintly and she snapped out of her surprise, determined to not mind Rin's clothing. Yes, the girl was still as charming as ever yet, yet... the part of her brain that loves adorable and cute kids just couldn't bear it!
Rin blinked owlishly when she saw Okami-san space out after giving her reply and turned to look at Kinzo who was still by the doorway with an amused smile on his face.
"Ne, is there anything on my face Kinzo? The others are looking at me funny."
Kinzo's smile grew so wide that his eyes became crescents and he approached the flustered girl, mussing her hair.
"Don't worry Chibi-chan," Kinzo said a touch bit amused. "The others are just surprised with your.. ah, image change?"
The elder Shima tilted his head, not sure if he used the two words right, but shrugged it off. Rin, on the other hand, frowned at the two latter words, not knowing their meaning, and mentally deciding if what Kinzo said was in anyway offensive.
Torako seemed to snap out of her thoughts with a shake of her head and continued preparing the food for the children, ushering Kinzo and Rin to sit with the three children.
Bon blinked and noticed his Father wasn't seated amongst them, he turned his head towards his mother.
"Kaa-chan, where's Tou-san?"
Torako stiffened, which went unnoticed by the children, and answered promptly.
"Your Father's a bit busy at the moment, Bon." Torako replied with a strained smile. "But I suppose that he'll be just in time for dinner."
Bon frowned thoughtfully, the times when Tatsuma Suguro wasn't there to eat breakfast was a rare occurrence, and when they usually had guests his Tou-san made sure that all of them ate together. The young boy realized that perhaps something important happened, so important that his Father didn't eat with their guest at the moment, and it wasn't a comforting thought to Bon.
Especially because of what they talked about last night.
"Psst. Bon, are you still awake?"
"Ne, Bon do you feel anything wrong? 'Cause I-"
"I don't know, I just feel a-a-pperehensive?"
"I feel it too. It's like something bad would happen."
Bon shivered a little, but that could be easily blamed on the cold, and now he could feel it too.
Something was wrong. Very, very wrong.
Bon just hoped that everybody, including Rin, would be safe.
No matter what the traitorous voice at the back of his head was saying. They'll be safe, they have to.
"Now who want's to eat?" Bon snapped out of his thought, banishing them at the deep corners of his mind, and focused on having a great time with his friends. Because that's all he can do.
For now.

"Yaozo, are you certain?" Tatsuma Suguro asked with an unusually serious expression on his face, to the man that shared the same family name with Kinzo and Renzo, seeing as he was their father and the head of the Shima family.
Yaozo Shima nodded gravely, an odd tattoo that looked like two lines on his face, one running along his right eye. "I wouldn't have told you unless I was certain Tatsuma."
"Forgive me old friend, I just find it odd for the demons to be acting up again." Tatsuma's eye darkened. "Everything has been more peaceful in Kyoto after that night and after Shiro took hold of the Kurikura."
A sharp intake of breath was taken by Yaozo and he felt his heart clench at the mention of the Blue Night, truly one of their darkest times. As well as what happened before the gray haired exorcist entered the picture.
"I agree, something must be brewing within Gehenna. Something troublesome."
Tatsuma's eyes hardened. "I suppose we should exterminate the demon quickly, it would not do for other people to be involved."
Yaozo nodded his head, eyes burning with determination. Intent on not having others go through what his son, Take Shima, has.
A death caused by a demon.

"Tag! You're It!"
A beaming smile was on Rin's face who didn't look the least bit tired, while Renzo who was now the 'it', looked like he might fall on his feet any moment now.
Renzo abruptly stopped running and fell on his knees, sweating profusely, and Torako was there in a flash making sure the playing children were all well hydrated.
Kinzo watched the scene in muted awe, while not sweating as much as the three younger boys, he was still sweating and he couldn't help but be amazed on how Rin looked like she wasn't even breaking a sweat. The ten year old boy was snapped out of his thoughts when a towel landed on his face.
"Kin-chan, make sure to wipe your sweat or else you'll get sick." Torako reminded the boy while helping his younger brother drink a bottle of water.
They were currently playing a game of tag at the place where Rin and Bon met, not that the others excluding the two knew about it, and the four had to wonder out loud what happened to the poor broken stone lantern. Rin abruptly looked away when that was brought up and if Bon's mind wasn't playing tricks on him her cheeks were a little pink as well.
"You too Neko-chan, Ryuuji, and Rin. I'll help Renzo."
Rin obeyed Torako quietly, a happy smile still on her face, and took a towel from her bag. Wiping their sweat, the three boys and one girl sat at the ground, resting their legs.
Bon paused for a moment and turned to Rin a little nervous.
"Are you really going to head home later?"
Rin stopped wiping her sweat for the moment and blinked owlishly at Bon, which caused his face to heat up a little.
"It's not that I don't like you guys," Rin began a small smile in place. "I'm pretty sure you guys are the first friends I have."
And it was true, they were the first friends she had outside the monastery.
"It's just that we live in Tokyo. I like it here, I really do, but it's not just home. Don't be sad, we can still send mail to each other and we'll miss each other but were friends right? No matter what happens?"
Bon scowled particularly at the part where he'll be sad, but the boy didn't bother to deny it, he smoothed his face and a small smile was on his face.
"Of course! We'll always be friends, no matter what happens!"
A wide grin was on Rin's face at Bon's proclamation, one that made her eyes closed, but she didn't mind, it stopped her happy tears from leaking out. Small smiles where on everybody's faces and when Rin was sure that her tears wouldn't run through her face she intently memorized the scene, a scene with her first friends enjoying the time they spent together.
Torako looked at the sun and sighed, hoping that Rin could've spent more time with them, but they already contacted her father and imagine her surprise when it was Shiro Fujimoto, the man who helped them when an illness took hold of the temple just after the night.
"Well, why don't we play another game then we'll head to the station with Uncle Suguro, Rin-chan."
Rin bobbed her head and just put her towel on top of her bag, the others followed suite though instead they gave their towels to Torako.
"Rin-chan, why won't we play a game you want? We've already played what we want what about you?" Konekomaru asked shyly and the others nodded in agreement, Rin couldn't help but beam in return.
"Sure! Let's play Hide-and-Seek!"
Rin's heartbeat seemed to beat a little harder, but she blamed it on the run they all went through, and they decided on who should be the 'seeker'.
"I volunteer," Kinzo piped up. "I'm the eldest so I should be the 'seeker'."
The four children nodded, seeing the logic in Kinzo's statement, and laid out rules. The most important one is that they shouldn't be too far from Okami-san's, Torako's, sight.
"I'll count until what number?"
The four children looked at each other and nodded, understanding a message that was somehow passed between them.
"Ten." Bon said confidently and Kinzo turned around placing his arms on top of a tree's trunk and settling his head there, then he began counting.
"One."
All of them headed to various directions, going as quickly and quietly as they can.
"Two."
Each of them looked for a good hiding spot.
"Three."
Konekomaru decided to hide in a bush, and Renzo was still deciding whether he should hide behind the trashcan or a tree.
"Four."
Bon, who already thought ahead, was already near the top of his chosen tree. With it's branches close together, it gave him a good hiding spot and an easy time to climb.
"Five."
Rin, who hid behind a tree that had the widest trunk amongst all, was positioned just behind Kinzo, not too far but not too near either.
Torako sent Bon a look of disapproval at his hiding place, which caused her field of vision zero on her son, not seeing what was happening to the others.
Bad move.
A shadow fell on Rin's small form and a shiver wrecked through her body, her instincts screamed at her to move! And she did, Rin rolled away from her former position.
"Si-"
A loud thump echoed through the area, stopping Kinzo from counting, and Rin dared to look at what happened. Only to see a plain man holding a wooden stick that struck the exact place where she was before.
Rin could only gulp.
Everybody quickly snapped their attention towards the loud sound and while the boys only saw a plain man with a stick, Torako saw differently.
She saw that the man was possesed by a demon.
Torako paled, not knowing what to do in this situation but held her ground, her eyes darted towards Kinzo, who already opened his eyes, and sent him a silent plea to move away from the man.
Bon, Renzo, and Konekomaru was safe since they hid at the part where Kinzo was facing the tree, unlike Rin who hid behind him.
The demon had yet to make a move but his eyes flashed maliciously, red eyes flashed into a different color, and a twisted smile was on his face.
"I found you~!"
Everbody shivered at what the man said in his own tune, but none more so than Rin who was quite near the man. Her blue eyes darted everywhere, feeling something odd, and that she wasn't seeing everything in the picture. That was what all it took for the man to quickly move towards his current victim.
Torako Suguro.
A left arm was wrapped around her neck and a hand was hovering near her face, and the demon could only smile his twisted smile while the five children promptly panicked.
"Kaa-chan/Okami-san!"
"Now, now kiddies. No need to scream," the possesed man scolded. "You see, some big baddy took over my body and I want him out!"
The children could only watch, horrified at what was happening in front of them.
"And the only way to get him out is to do what he want's," the man's eyes darkened. "And he wants somebody to burn."
He suddenly lightened up with a smile that looked so wrong on his face. "So who want's to burn himself or herself for the lady? I'm not picky, you know?"
Rin's heart clenched at what she heard and she felt that she might throw up, but he was sure that everything was worse for the Kyoto boys, especially for Bon.
"Don't listen to him," Torako said with great difficulty, even as she tried to pry the man's arm away from her. "Go call help, NOW!"
"What are you talking about Kaa-chan? I'll never leave you here," Bon refused to do as what his Mother wished and Torako had to bit back a snarl. Even from here the mother could see her son shaking on top of one of the tree's branches.
"I'm not asking-"
The arm wrapped around Torako's neck tightened and she had to stop due to the fact that she couldn't use her vocal chords properly anymore.
"Now, now. Didn't I say earlier there was no need to scream? It hurts my ears." The man complained, like he wasn't strangling someone to death. "Or else the lady might say bye-bye, forever."
Something bubbled inside Rin and everything became background noises, even the shouts of the four boys, a rush of fear went through her but somehow she felt that everything was her fault.
"Aha! Now I know why not one of you burned themselves," the man lessened the strength in his grip and it gave Torako room through breathe, though she was coughing wildly. He put the hand hovering on top of Torako's face inside his one of his pockets and made a show of feeling for one of it's contents.
He brightened up and threw an object to the ground, for a moment everything stopped for Rin as she saw the box of matches on the ground, and she didn't need to look at the boys to know that they were pale and green around the gills.
"There! You guys shouldn't have a problem on burning now do you? Now who wants to volunteer for the life of the lady?"
The boys looked at each other, and Kinzo felt the pressure on his back, he was the eldest, sure he hasn't lived his life to the fullest nor has he fulfilled his dream of having a band, but he was the oldest.
And it was his job to protect the younger ones. He only hoped his father wouldn't be too sad. Who was he kidding? The man would be devastated in losing yet again another son.
But he would understand, Kinzo knew that.
To immersed with his thoughts, as well as the other boys were, they didn't notice how Rin slowly raised her hands.
"I will."
The man in return looked amused. "Really that's nice, do it quickly then. We haven't got all day."
The boys quickly snapped their attention to Rin, with faces of disbelief, and their shouts got to a higher level.
"Quiet," he scowled. "I only need one, it's your faults that you guys were too deep in thought."
"No," Bon whispered shakily. "Don't do it Rin!"
Torako knew that the arm around her would only tighten if she spoke, so she pleaded to Rin using her eyes, to not do this for an old lady.
But Rin was determined.
She approached the matchbox slowly, ignoring the noise that the boys were generating, and looked at the man straight in the eye. Like the two of them were the only people in the world.
But that image abruptly disappeared when Konekomaru charged towards the man legs.
"You can't kill anyone!"
The other boys followed suite.
And the two females could only watch in horror at what was happening. As the man grew more an more irritated as more boys got attached to his legs, he pushed Torako away and set his sight on Renzo.
"You people just pissed me off," he grabbed Renzo using his clothes as a hold and the boy was choking because of it, Kinzo grew more desperate to stop the man, even while Okami-san was on the ground coughing.
"Get off!" The man barked, but seeing as they weren't moving away from him, the hand that wasn't holding Renzo went to his back to grab something. Rin's blood chilled when she saw a sleek gun on his hand and she just wanted it to STOP!
A deafening roar rang in her ear and Rin didn't think, she just acted, everything became slower and Rin saw the exact moment that the man pulled the trigger, a bullet heading towards Renzo's temple.
'StOpsToPSTOPstopStOpstoPSTOOOOP!'
A blue light sent the bullet flying straight ahead, away from both the man and Renzo, and Rin had to wonder why Bon, Konekomaru, Kinzo and Renzo abruptly paled. Why the possesed man looked like he just won a lottery, as his face then turned into an ugly grimace, only to change again.
And all of a sudden Rin could see clearly.
She could see little black things as small as a fly, with a zigzagging tail and big eyes floating around the man, who suddenly sprouted goat like horns and his eyes turned red, a forked tongue hanging from his mouth with canine like teeth.
Her hands flew to her face, shocked by the sight, and that was when she noticed something. Something blue covered her arms, the same color as the light that sent the bullet away.
"I've found you," the man -no- demon said, a grin on his face. Rin was sure that it wasn't the crazy man who was talking this time, it was the demon or as the crazy man called him, the big baddy.
The demon barely gave the Kyoto boys a glance and let go of Renzo, who Kinzo cushioned, and headed straight for Rin. She couldn't do anything but stand there, numb, as her first friends looked at her in terror.
Why?
What did she do wrong?
Rin didn't even have the heart to see how Okami-san was looking at her, she didn't want to shed the tears building up in her eyes.
They were so happy earlier.
What happened?
"At last," the demon breathed and Rin stiffened when she noticed that the demon was already two steps away from her. "I've found you."
"Child of Satan."

That was a LOT of work huh? Sorry for the cliffie I guess, oh and due to someone, ah, fixing my moral compass for lack of better term.
There will be no INCEST! There! It's in bold, italic, and underlined. So yeah, if you're looking for a Yukio and Rin pairing. I'm truly, very, very, very, very sorry for leading you on.
Saying that, there will be no Amaimon pairing as well.
So sorry.
And I'm currently debating on whether or not I should pull the poll down since it looks like the romance, would be far into the future.
I understand if any of my readers would unfollow or unfavorite my story, and it is solely your choice to continue reading or not. But please, I would appreciate it if you do not flame me, give me constructive crticism and I'll recieve that gladly.
But if you feel betrayed because of the loss of that pairing and for me leading you on, I'll recieve you PM and who knows, I might even reply.
So sorry, I truly am.
And for those who want to continue to read my story.
Read on! (Just wanted to get that out of my chest.)
Oh, lookie it's not a cliffie!

Rin knew she was a demon, a half-demon, yet a demon nonetheless.
But she should've known that she had the short end of the stick.
She was covered in blue. Blue flames that everybody knew only Satan, King of Gehenna, wielded. The one who caused the Blue Night, the reason why Bon was being called the 'Child of The Cursed Temple', and the reason why a lot of people died in that night.
But did that mean she was bad? Was she evil?
Rin could almost hear her Tou-san, Yukio, Mephisto, and the other clergymen in the monastery protesting about that, but Rin knew the answer herself.
She wasn't.
And she wasn't going to lose her friends just because of her Blood Father, she wasn't the 'Child of Satan' she was...
"I'm Rin Okumura! Daughter of Shiro Fujimoto and sister of Yukio Okumura and Samael! I'm not the daughter of anybody else!" Rin snarled, fists tight, and blue flames rose higher, wider, as she grew angrier.
The demon only watched on amusedly and tilted his head when he heard the name of his Master's second son, but brushed it off. "Really? You're blood begs to defer, My Lady."
Rin bristled at the title the demon pinned her with, and she darted her eyes towards where her friends were, the Shima brothers seemed to get her message on why she said that but Bon and Konekomaru were a whole different matter all together.
Konekomaru still looked at her with an expression of terror on his face and Rin tried not to feel the stabs that struck her heart, but she couldn't blame the sweet, polite boy, it was her Blood Father's fault on why he was currently without parents.
She couldn't blame anyone.
Even if the betrayed look on Bon's face tore her heart to shreds. It wasn't anybody's fault. Even if- even if... They didn't want to be friends anymore, Rin couldn't blame anybody.
It wasn't anyone's fault.
But Rin had to wonder why it seemed like blades were digging through her, and felt a pain like none other.
It-it just wasn't fair.
Burying that thought deep in her mind, she narrowed her eyes towards the demon, blue flames licking her body.
"Why now? Why did he look for me now?" Rin demanded not paying attention to anything else but she wasn't assured by the demon's response.
"Why of course I'll answer your question M'lady," the demon said in mock politeness and he suddenly revealed his canine like teeth. "The Majesty felt your power, your flames, wanting to get out of the cage it's imprisoned to and what kind of Father will His Majesty be if he ignored the plea of His Daughter? To-"
"I'M NOT HIS DAUGHTER!" Rin bellowed, blue flames still licking her body which grew in size, yet oddly enough it didn't leave any trace at the ground where she was standing.
The demon pursed his lips. "What uncouth manners," he scoffed. "Not letting me end my sentence, but then again, you have said your name while I have not."
"My name is Astaroth, King of Rot. It is a pleasure to be at your service M'lady." Astaroth, as the demon claimed to be, smiled widely, stretching the mouth of the man he possesed and he bowed like what a butler would do, but it only served to freak Rin out more.
"A King?" Rin breathed out sharply, this just turned from worse to horrid, and it wasn't even the end of the day. Astaroth was a King and he either had to be a son of Satan or did something very noteworthy for him to be given that title.
And between those two hunches she didn't know which one was more dangerous.
"Correct," Astaroth replied, amused. "Glad to know that Samael taught you something."
Rin's fire seemed to dull a little at the prospect of trying to protect her friends from a King, of all things, but it was only for a moment. As soon as she realized that right now she could actually use her strength for something that matters, well...
She'll face anything.
Anything at all.
For them.

Blue eyes blinked languidly and Amaimon tilted his head upwards to see the sky, with a frown on his face.
"Naughty, naughty Astaroth, I wanted to meet little sister first." Amaimon considered his words for a moment and corrected himself. "Second."
"Will brother be mad if I showed myself?" Amaimon asked himself thoughtfully, weighing the options in his mind.
"One way to find out."
Amaimon rose from his crouched position and made a show of stretching his body. As he used his right hand to create a circle, using his forefinger and thumb, he placed it over his respective eye and looked at the situation he was gazing at earlier.
And the King of Earth had to wonder why the exorcists didn't notice uncanny presence of blue flames and the scent of rot lingering in the air.
He blinked his eyes again. "Ah, ah, perhaps Behemoth is causing more problems than I thought." Amaimon shrugged. "More time to spend with imouto-chan."
"Now, how to get rid of the others, I wonder."
Amaimon stepped backwards two times and took a deep breathe.
"I'll think about it later."
And a green blur shot out on top of a non-descript building, zooming towards the place where blue flames were sprouting.
Time for the King of Earth to appear.
