Hello Everybody!
I encourage all to comment if you have questions, complaints or comments (both good or bad)!
Now onto the next chapter!
At first hundreds of questions rang throughout Sakura's mind all at once but then was replaced will a silent hush as she realized that Miroku and the unknown Ninja had started casually making their way toward her. They kept on laughing as if there was great humor in their current situation but honestly she could tell they were doing it just to spite them.
Automatically she started walking backwards while maintaining her fighting stance to allow sufficient space for attack or to run away if need be when suddenly Miroku Stopped laughing and gave her a hurt look.
"Honestly Sakura, Just a while ago we were taking so kindly to one another and now you act like I'm gonna KILL you!" He chuckled darkly at his own comment.
"I mean, I probably will! Since you tried leaving me and all, BUT I'm willing to forgive and forget if you promise never to leave again."
Then, Miroku reached into his Kunai pouch which triggered Naruto and Sasuke to pull out their own weapons hastily. They darted out and stood slightly in front of Sakura, in between her and the enemy ninja in a protective way. Armed and ready to take them on, Naruto and Sasuke watched the other ninja intently, waiting for their next move. Sakura noticed this momentarily but her attention was brought back to Miroku when he chuckled again at their behavior and lifted his hand to show what he had reached for.
He held two scrolls in his left hand, in between his thumb and Index finger was a large, black scroll with the words "Liquid Fire" written on the side. Then he also had a small, white scroll with no writing in between his pinky and ring fingers. He extended his hand with the scrolls toward them and began to speak.
"Alrighty, let's just cut to the chase. I have here a VERY strong Fire Jutsu, trust me, you DON'T wanna see what this baby can do. I also have here a nice little forbidden scroll. Surrender yourself to me Sakura, and I'll let your comrades leave alive. They will be escorted by Kenji here, back to Konoha. For any reason you guys kill him and try coming after me, I'll be alerted immediately by our connection Jutsu and I'll simply have to kill you, Sakura!" He said very pleasantly.
Sakura shuddered at this. He was extremely psychotic and it scared her to think she had been with him for such a long time and never noticed! Though now his over protective nature and possessiveness did make sense now. She wasn't sure whether to push him or not since he seemed to be in a rather good mood. How long will that last? She thought.
Then, It began to rain heavily on all the ninja, signaling the arrival of storm was there. Sakura took a quick glance to the sky and saw that if anything, it was going to get heavier.
There's NO WAY a fire Jutsu is going to work in this weather! They would have to use tons of chakra just to keep a fire lit! She thought smugly.
Sasuke seemed to realize this on his own too since he seemed to relax his guard, but not by much.
She straightened up defiantly and smirked at Miroku.
"What makes you think you can kill me?" she asked knowingly. There was no way he could ever hold a flame to her strength, as soon as they would be alone, she would instantly snap his neck and be rid of him.
"Don't think I haven't thought this through, sweety! When you agree to my terms, I'll have you use this scroll!'' He turned his hand so the white scroll pointed at her.
She took a step back. Even if she didn't know what this scroll did, it couldn't be good considering Miroku was acting pretty cocky.
"I think I'll take my chances with killing you." Sakura said.
Sakura bolted towards Miroku, with chakra building up in her right hand. She made a fist and fully intended to hit him straight in the gut when suddenly her arm was engulfed with water just as she was about to make contact. She pulled back in hopes to freeing her arm but her back hit another body of water, as the liquid ran down her chest and around her torso the water pulled her body back into a orb.
Frightened, she thrashed her limbs with chakra making them stronger, but the water was obsorbing her blows and continued to grow in size. Naruto hurriedly reached into the water to pull her out but his hand was immediately attacked by the water and was stabbed in multiple places.
"Ahhh!" he pulled out his left hand and held it tenderly. It was a bloody mess, the water had broken a few bones in his hand, and he could even see some of the white sticking out of his skin.
Thank Kami it wasn't my dominate hand! Naruto thought as he lifted his right hand and preformed a seal.
Sasuke realized that Kenji was silently moving his fingers around as he took in the display before him. Miroku smirked and stepped back behind Keji to allow him to finish his work.
Sasuke then leaned forward to charge at Kenji but was surprised when he realized his legs weren't moving. He looked down and saw that from the puddles around him the water had slowly crept up around his legs but did not actually touch him so he wouldn't he alerted. Now they had closed in on him and locked around his knees, rendering him immobile.
What kind of jutsu is this?! He thought angrily and he tried to free himself from the water's grasp.
There were poofs of smoke around him and saw that Naruto had succeeded in making five clones of himself. Two charged towards Sakura to get get her out of the water orb while the other three went to Kenji. One went on the offense and started attacking Kenji and Miroku as two held back and began preparing their rasengan.
Sakura watched from within the orb, which had stopped filling itself just as it reached her chin, allowing her to breathe. The water had ceased all movement and felt like wet cement, keeping her from making any movements. She felt powerless and see saw the ninja had begun fighting, while she was held captive in Kenji's jutsu.
Naruto clone's tried to reach into the orb like Naruto had down earlier, but the outer water froze into a non penetrable layer, not allowing hands to enter. One clone tried breaking the orb by laying powerful punches on the layer, lacing his demon chakra into his arms. Sakura screamed in agony as she felt the blows transfer to her own body, taking on the full impact. Naruto stopped as he saw he was doing more damage than good. The two Naruto's redirected their attention to freeing Sasuke, who would have a better idea to rescuing Sakura.
Think! Think! I need to get out, NOW! Suddenly she had an idea.
Using a great deal of the chakra she had stored for years, she began using it to vibrate her cells. She began to sweat as her body temperature rose dramatically. The water around her soon begun to boil and evaporate but she started to feel faint. Sakura closed her eyes and focused on the task at hand.
The orb began to shake out of control as Kenji tried to keep her imprisoned while he dodged the clone's attacks. Kenji's eyes widened as a blue, swirling ball of wind came at him at great speed then Preformed a substitution jutsu. He barely dodged the attack but that one moment of broken concentration was all Sakura needed as she focused her Chakra even more.
The orb exploded and Sakura fell to he knees, breathing hard. She had used some chakra to protect her body from the boiling water, But her skin felt extremely hot compared to the rain falling on her. She turned to see Naruto had succeeded in getting Sasuke out of his water shackles but both were watching her, surprised at the explosion.
"Well then, I guess I gotta show you what you're really up against." Miroku said simply.
He teleported to the edge of the clearing and opened his black scroll halfway. Kenji Immediately darted towards Miroku as well, which alarmed team seven to the impending danger. Miroku Then preformed a flurry of different hand seals then charged his chakra into the scroll.
"Fire style! Heaven's Hot Fury!" Miroku shouted, then, The storm clouds that hung over the clearing turned into to dark, blood red color.
The heavy rain that was falling on them quickly turned into a red color as well and began burning everything it touched. The drops burned clear through the trees around the area and continued down all the way to the grassy floor where it burned holes into the floor.
Sakura screamed in pain as the dark liquid landed on her skin, burning through skin, muscle, then bone. She looked around to see if there was any shelter, but they were all in the middle of the clearing and hiding under the trees wouldn't do any good. Naruto also screamed and did his best to cover his head with his arms. Sasuke reached out and pulled the two ninja close to him and made a barrier of chakra around them to protect them from the burning rain. He looked up and saw that the rain was eroding through the barrier and would surely drill through unless he kept pumping more chakra into it.
Suddenly the villainous rain stopped and sakura looked up to see that Miroku had closed the scroll. He gave her a tender smile with a sickening gleam in his eye.
"Well I don't wanna kill my lovely wife to be, do I?" He motioned to the destroyed clearing. "I wonder if you recognize me yet, does any of this seem familiar to you?"
Sakura seemed puzzled at first but then gasped lightly when memories of her last mission flooded her mind.
"It was you...I THOUGHT I KILLED YOU YEARS AGO!" She yelled.
Sasuke let Naruto and Sakura go from his protective care and stood up facing Miroku. Naruto looked at Sakura's murderous gaze towards Miroku and then also turned to look at him.
"I don't understand, who are you!?" He demanded.
Miroku's smiled faltered a bit.
"I'm simply a man who fell in love."
four years ago..
Miroku sat alone to the side near the entrance of a dark cave with his other fellow rogue ninja waiting for Kenji. He was rather bored, considering that there hasn't been any difficult battles lately and he quite enjoyed taking down strong enemies.
They had all been Mist ninja growing up, but Miroku was never like any of his other friends, or should he even call them that?
Growing up, he would never find joy in the things that other children would. He preferred being alone in his room where everything had its place.
Simple. Neat. Clean. That's how he preferred things.
He never knew his mother, and only had a sloppy, alcoholic father who barely made enough from his missions to cover the expenses of his drinking.
Finally, one day in a drunken fit he grabbed Miroku by his throat and choked him all the while yelling at him for ruining his life. When it got to much for Miroku to bear, he reached up and snapped his neck.
Miroku marveled at how easy it was. They had just taught him that technique at the ninja academy and it gave him such a rush from taking the life of his own father with just the twist of his hands. When the authorities came, they dismissed it as self defense since he was getting choked but after that moment Miroku realized he took pleasure from bringing pain to others.
On missions, Miroku would always prolong the deaths of his enemies and make them scream out in agony with his Jutsu while he enjoyed their sobs like sweet music. He had found many forbidden scrolls in his father's room and was rather attached to the one that would melt people with liquid fire.
It didn't even have to be physical pain for Miroku to enjoy himself. Making people embarrassed or feel helpless was fun too! He also enjoyed being rough with his female companions or make them feel like worthless garbage, the faces they would make were what he needed to get off.
Finally he got tired of playing the heroic ninja and went rogue with other ninja to enjoy what life really had to offer; violence, sex and money.
Apparently though, this had caused some unwanted attention so currently they all waited for Kenji to scout the area before they proceeded to cross the border and avoid any Ninja who had orders to kill them all. Miroku turned to look at his group of misfits, They all wore simple back and blue ninja attire along with masks to hide their faces from bounty hunters. The only one he truly confided in was Kenji, while the rest of these guys were just scum to him.
Kenji was one of those guys who was in it for the money, and didn't really like violence against the innocent. Whenever the other guys got too violent with the villagers he would always be the one to stop them, Though Kenji was smart enough to leave Miroku alone to his own devices whenever he wanted to be alone with the village women. It was a rather odd friendship(?) but it worked for both of them.
Miroku tensed as he felt a sudden change in the area around the cave, he leaned out toward the entrance and looked around to see if he could detect any suspicious activity. His eyes scanned the area and slowly he started to frown, not seeing any danger.
Suddenly, the top of the cave exploded into crumbling pieces and sent chunks of cave wall flying everywhere! Miroku immediately got up and darted out of the cave along with two others but one comrade was too deep in the cave and got crushed by the falling rock. It was a horrible mess, rock and dirt flying everywhere along with plants that had attached themselves to the sides of the cave. Miroku looked around angered, trying to see who the hell would try a surprise attack of that magnitude on them.
He then looked up, and saw pink hair.
Miroku froze. He felt all his blood rush to his face and his heart beat faster as he watched this beautiful woman gracefully land after her big entrance.
She was younger than him, he noticed, as his eyes racked across her body and tried to drink in every little detail he could. Her hair was kept in a neat bob, barely touching her shoulders which was a pity since he preferred long hair. She was petite but he figured she did had some growing to do, noting the swell of her breasts and her slightly large forehead. What really caught his attention was her eyes, they were a hard emerald green color, do to the fact that they currently were in a battle. Miroku assumed they probably softened when she wasn't out for someone's blood, but he wondered what kind of face she would make if he were to strip her naked and make her his.
What is this feeling? He mused as he leapt back into the bushes. He noticed the beautiful ninja wasn't alone but was accompanied by a girl with pupil less eyes and a man riding a large ninja dog so he silently hid in a far away bushy and masked his chakra. He saw that Kenji had returned to him and summoned a few of his specialty corpses to fight alongside his other fellow ninja while he checked up on him.
"What do you wanna do? These guys are really strong, but with my corpses fighting for us they won't notice we left." Kenji said.
Miroku turned and watched the fight. Kenji had a useful jutsu that allowed him to summon the bodies of the people he killed and used their bodies as stand ins. Since nobody knew what he looked like, this helped them escape if he was in a pinch. His men were strong, but the Konoha Ninja were stronger. It was a close battle but it was obvious the pink haired girl was causing some serious damage to his men and the forest around them.
Miroku smiled. "I think we should mess with them a bit. I just want to get the pink haired one alone long enough to take her with me."
Kenji turned and looked at him in shock, "Her?! She's not even your type! the other chick has a much larger rack on her!" Kenji noticed that Miroku tended to go after the more voluptuous woman, and steered clear of them so he wouldn't get in the way but this girl was nothing like the usual ones he kidnapped before.
"It's not her body in particular that I'm after," Miroku licked his lips, "It's her eyes."
Kenji shuddered. He never liked asking Miroku too much on what was going on in his mind, and honestly he didn't want to know. All he could do now was pity the poor girl for drawing the attention of a mad man. He turned and watched the battle, noticing another comrade die at enemy hands, then he realized the one Miroku wanted started fighting one of his corpses.
He manipulated the body so it drew her away from her group, little by little leading her into the forest. Miroku noticed this and smiled happily, then turned to grab his favorite scroll. He opened it all the way to read the last jutsu that was written and began preforming the necessary hand signs.
"Let's get this done quickly, I want to play with her as quickly as I can."
Suddenly, his acid rain fell down on all the ninja, including his ex-comrades. They screamed in agony as the rain melted their skin and the 2 konoha ninja hid under a barrier. Miroku didn't let the rain touch his girl, but this next part was definitely intended to knock her out.
"Fire Style! Heaven's Anger!" He whispered.
The rain stopped falling from the sky, but when it touched the ground it exploded, sending earth and bodies flying everywhere. The explosion itself was huge, sending a large mushroom cloud to fill the sky and Miroku sped over to where he last saw the fighting girl.
They looked around while being stealthy, weary that the Konoha ninja might still be around and catch them. After using their jutsus, they didn't have a lot of energy to fight. After what seemed like eternity to Miroku, Kenji found what was left of the corpse pretending to be Miroku. They scanned the area but there was no trace of the ninja, which upset Miroku.
Did she make it back to her team? He thought. Miroku didn't want to trail her and wait for a opportunity, but it seemed that she was up and about so he would have to find her and knock her out.
Just as Miroku was about to give up, he heard voices in the distance. It was hard to understand at first, but he could make out the voices of the enemy ninja calling out for a "Sakura".
Miroku smiled wickedly. He turned to face Kenji, who was watching him intently for directions.
"It seems like my sweet Sakura just went Rogue."
Miroku smiled fondly at the memories, while Naruto and Sasuke watched his with surprised expressions.
"Y-you have been stalking her? ALL this time!?" Naruto asked, while moving closer to Sakura protectively.
The Rogue ninja laughed, "Of course! I wasn't gonna let her get away! It took a while to find her, yes, but once I had my new identity and Kenji helping out from the side lines, it was so easy to make her mine!"
"I don't understand, why me? From what it seems , you only wanted to rape me and throw me away. Why have you waited this long and yet haven't laid a hand on me?" Sakura asked. It didn't make sense. They've even shared a bed all this time, but he was mindful of her wishes. She remembered that many of his kisses and actions were forceful, but never enough for her to fear him.
Miroku's face darkened. He had on a sadistic grin while his eyes betrayed him for what he really was.
Crazy.
"I want to see those defiant eyes of yours laced with fear. I wanna ring your pretty little neck and choke you while I go in and out of you. That's why. Once you married me, you would've been completely helpless, and I could've finally had my way with you!" He yelled out crazily.
Miroku Appeared suddenly in front of Sakura and held her up by the neck. Shocked, she dangled from his grip and clawed at his hand while gasping for breath.
"Last chance sweety, choose me or be killed. Either way, I will still have you."
So this ended up being a REALLY long chapter, But I really wanted to explain a lot so it had to be long!
Thank you for the support!
