I've mentioned before that the couple list wouldn't be the same in the end...at least for some of them. You have to have drama up in a story that's about high school adolescents. I feel everyone is already caught up with the fact that Bruce and Diana don't act like normal teenagers. Although that also won't always be the case in this story. '.' Another thing I should ask is, when this story is finished...maybe like 30+ chapters, should I continue with a sequel. I always like to plan ahead, and by that I mean already planning the plot for the sequel. I would like your input on that. I know I said that this was going to be an ongoing series, but eh. I want there to be a sequel, or else the characters don't progress.

It's good to see people actually like this story. So, let's continue...
I do not own any DC characters, just the story and that right belongs to DC Comics and those associated with them, you know how it goes.
Come Monday morning, all hell breaks loose. Metropolis Cougars High is buzzing with gossip as Bruce arrives in style. Naturally, a flock of girls are already there to help him get accustomed to the school. Being the new guy and all. There's also a good amount of paparazzi there, that's completely new. He arrives in a black limo, a chauffeur opens the passenger door and out comes Bruce with shades on. He straightens his suit and flashes his million dollar smile, and the crowd goes wild, why is he wearing a suit? He's so rich. He's so handsome and rich. You think he'll notice me? Maybe we'll get married and live in a huge mansion.
"Jeez, the amount of hungry girls present are too damn high. You think they'd never seen a guy with money before, " Lois says with a gaping gaze as she sees a couple of girls pass her way and into the crowd.
To that, Diana just rolls her eyes as she continues heading to her locker. She was enjoying her morning, but that was short-lived as she found a huge crowd gathered at her school. Diana sighs, " It's going to be a long day."
"Mhm, this," Lois points at the crowd, "is going to go crazy. People go bat-shit crazy for celebrities."
"Is he considered a celebrity?" Diana asks while getting her books from her locker.
"Well, not really. He's more of an...upcoming celebrity. People seemed a lot more interested in him when his parents died."
"Oh." Diana feigns indifference," his parents died?" she busies herself with her locker.
"Yeah, what rock do you live under? That was top news back then, not that I can really remember. I was too young to actually remember the actual details. I only really remember my family talking in whispers about it. Come to think it, there was another family name that was mentioned. " Lois puts a hand on her chin as she contemplates the forgotten memory. She then just shrugs it off. "Eh, what do you know, I don't remember."
Just then Wally West and his twin brother Barry Allen show up on each side of Lois, Barry to her left and Wally to her right. People would always ask why those two had different last names, considering the fact that they were obviously related. Well, Wally and Barry were separated at a young age. When their parents decided to divorce, each parent took a kid. Barry lives with their mom and Wally lives with their dad. It was all strange, considering the fact that they both attended the same school and visited each other all the time.
"Remember what?" Barry and Wally ask in unison. This was always common with these two. They usually finished each others sentences and sometimes echoed each others words. It was weird at first, but she was actually quite fond of their close relationship. Diana always wanted a sibling, a brother or a sister. But, it was not in her stars, much like Bruce, she was an only child.
"Hello Barry, Wally." Diana tilts her head to the side as they both offer to carry her books. She refuses the offer. "We were just discussing Bruce Wayne and his galore of...devotees." She looks at the twins, wondering which one was which. She was new to this, so she wasn't quick to identify them separately like Lois was.
"His what? Is that like a dirty pun?" Wally asks with a lopsided grin. His blonde hair shaped like his brothers that resembled a mop. The twins eyes a lighter shade of blue than hers. Both brothers had a huge smile, a contagious one.
"What the hell is galore and devotees? That sounds super dirty." Barry adds as he puts a hand around Diana's shoulders. They probably give their teachers hell, they were troublemakers and often caused all sorts of pranks around school. At least that is what Lois had said. The schools own personal hell hounds.
Diana glares at the twins and pushes Barry's hand off her shoulder," It's not dirty."
"Yeah quit being nasty. I just couldn't remember something. Do you guys remember the Wayne family incident that happened like some-ish years back?" Lois asks, a frown marring her face.
"Uhhh..." Barry looks at wall while thinking heavily.
Wally finishes with a, "Nope, can't say that we do."
"Hey, I might remember." Barry quickly says.
"Uhhh's not an answer Barry." Wally says with a sarcastic tone.
Another thing Diana learned after meeting the twins was, never let them argue for long, they would go on for hours, competing about who was the best twin.
"You guys..." Diana cuts them off," Do you both want to go to the cafeteria, breakfast is still going on."
They both immediately whiplash their heads, much to Diana and Lois's surprise.
"You buying? cuz...cuz we like to eat. They're probably serving pancakes and bacon. I want bacon. One plate is not enough for me. I'm a growing guy you know." Berry flashes Diana a smile. Diana shakes her head, these boys had an endless pit of a stomach.
"Yeah me too." Wally joins in as he grabs her hand and starts to drag her to the cafeteria.
Lois raises an eyebrow as she watches the twins lead Diana away. She snickers at the helpless look Diana sports.
"So Bruce, you wanna hang with us? Do you have a girlfriend? Can I be your friend? Can you loan me some money? You wanna buy some stuff from me bro?
Bruce grits his teeth as he pushes people to the side, his nice side disappearing altogether as the students mob him with questions. The media had left when the principle and some school security guards were summoned to expel the noise. Why are there so many damn people?
He turns around and glares at the formed crowd behind him. And just as he is about to yell at the crowd, the school bell rings. He raises his eyebrows at the disappearing crowd. Bunch of cockroaches, he chuckles. He shakes his head and starts heading to his first class, photography. It was either this or 2 P.E. classes. Starting late meant that all the good classes were gone. Just as he is halfway, he notices Diana a little bit ahead of him. Her backside at least, but he would recognize her anywhere, backside or not.
He runs a little to catch up to her and places a hand on her shoulder.
She turns around and raises an eyebrow, a smile plastered on her face. He notices she is wearing a simple white tee and jeans, a satchel on her side.
"Hello, do I know you?" Diana says with a smirk.
He chuckles," No, but I would like to get to know you." He says flirtatiously.
She tries to hold back her laughter, a twinkle in her eyes," You don't waste any time do you?"
"Come now, don't tell me you're already taken?" He says mischievously.
She raises an eyebrow again," Oh, but I am."
"Mhm, who is he then? A guy like him should escort his girlfriend to class. I'd say you got an average Joe there." He says arrogantly.
She hums, " You wouldn't like him, He's tall dark and brooding. He's got manners that could rival a prince. But, chivalry is wasted on me." She shrugs.
He 'tsks', "And is he handsome? Don't tell me he's not a good looking guy. Because if he isn't, you're wasting your genes on the poor sod. You'd make beautiful babies. " He feigns a dramatic gasp.
She giggles," Who says I want children?"
"Who doesn't want children? They're the personification of their parents love, an image of them. Any man would want children with you, it'd be a blessing." His voice switches to a low deep murmur. A serious expression on his face, she stops smiling. She searches his face for any signs of playfulness.
They gaze at each other, she notices the small curve of his lips go into a curl before they both crack out laughing.
"Oh, Bruce. That's a good one, to see you talking about children like this, it's a riot." She says after her laughter.
"You should have seen your face." Bruce says, a small smile on his face.
"You almost had me going there. Children at this age, spare me." Diana says with relief, she playfully socks his arm.
He winces," You know, you hit like a man sometimes."
"Oh don't be such a baby. Take it like a man." She arrogantly says to him.
"I'm too much of a man not to be. Too manly." He pretends to straighten his suit jacket, a smirk on his face.
She snorts," Yeah, okay. What's your first class, then. You're late." She says while trying to grab his class schedule she just noticed in his hands. He pulls his schedule up in the air, away from Diana.
"That's not very nice." She frowns.
"Why do you want to see my schedule?' He raises an eyebrow.
"I want to see if you've got any classes with me. I'm trying to avoid your fan-base, I happen to like this school without the money sex-crazed hungry people." She says it like it's supposed to be obvious.
"You sure you just want to see me more?" He says while finally relenting and giving Diana his schedule.
"I'm pretty sure, I see you enough as it is." Diana says while looking eagerly at his schedule.
He feigns a broken heart, a hand to his chest.
She frowns.
"What?" He says, noticing her frown. He looks over her shoulder and into the schedule.
"Third period, look, you've got home economics with me." She groans as she points to the third row on the paper.
He smiles, " That doesn't sound too bad."
"You just don't know. There are way too many females in that class. Obnoxious females too. I won't last I tell you. I'm gonna go ask the principle to let me switch classes." She says while fixing to leave.
He grabs her wrist," But, I need you." He gives her his biggest pleading eyes.
She looks at him weirdly, "Stop that," She swats his hand away.
When that doesn't work he switches strategies," I'll buy you anything."
She snorts again," There's not enough money in the world to buy what I want, and that's to get out of this. Besides, I don't need money."
He frowns," I'll owe you a favor." He finally says.
She stops, turning around to face him, a suspicious look to her face, "How many favors?"
"Just the one." He quickly answers.
"That's not enough. Make it 3 and I'll stay." She holds up three fingers.
He grunts. Diana takes this as his agreement. She smiles while leading him to his first class.
"Why three?" He asks after a while.
She shrugs," It's like a genie thing. Genie's usually grant three wishes."
"Genie's also have limitations too. Death and all that, you know."
She looks at him briefly," What kind of answer is that?" She says," They're favors not wishes. I just was comparing you to one."
He laughs lightly at her frustrated tone. They arrive in front of his first class.
"Okay, so then I'll see you in Home economics?'"
She answers in a gruff. He laughs harder while she frowns at him.
"You promised me." He says.
"Alright, just don't sit next to me, or else they'll start to flock over like vultures."
"Done." He says while heading inside his class. Leaving Diana behind as she heads to her first class.
It's not that he wasn't at all interested in photography, it just wasn't what he wanted to do first thing in the morning. He was more into the physical scene, in the mornings at least. He preferred to go out into a jog and do some stretches. He sighs as his teacher, Mr. Mallard, does the roll-call. He clenches his jaw when many of the females in the class stare at him unashamed, frowning when they pretend to drop their pencils or erasers near him.
"Now class, settle down." Mr. Mallard says. Frowning when he notices many of his students still chatting amongst themselves. Completely oblivious of his presence.
Bruce continues to stare at the front of the class, ignoring the stares in his direction and starts to feel his mood changing into a sour one. He hears Mr. Mallard clear his throat loudly before all the students finally avert their attention to him, albeit slowly.
"Now, that I have your attention. I would first like to introduce a new addition to the class. I am certain you've all noticed who that is. Mr. Wayne, if you could please stand and introduce yourself and maybe talk a little about yourself." Mr. Mallard motions with his hand, a smile on his face and arms crossed.
Bruce gives a large one-billion dollar smile as he gets up and straightens his suit jacket.
"Well, there's not much to say about myself that people I'm sure don't already know." Bruce gives a leveled smile to his teacher, who frowns at him.
"But, I'll humor you." Bruce looks around the room, smiling at the awaiting students,
"I'm not from around here. I transferred from one of the schools in Gotham. I plan to run my father's business when I finish school, business school of course." He finishes with a smirk, the girls in the class swoon at him.
"Any questions?"
Many students raise their hands instantly. He picks a girl with blonde hair sitting at the front near him. She smiles a flirtatious smile," Are you single?" She bats her eyelashes.
Mr. Mallard cuts in before he can respond with a witty answer," Alright, now that Mr. Wayne has introduced himself, any personal questions can be asked anytime after class. Not during class time. Now, please take a seat Mr. Wayne. "
Bruce goes back to his seat. As his first period finishes in a blur, Bruce quickly exits the class and heads towards his 2nd period class. Arithmetic's. He sighs as he takes his sweet time heading there. He couldn't wait to see Diana in the next class, at least he would see a familiar face. Someone who finally didn't have an ulterior motive towards him. He comes to a stop when someone blocks his way quickly. He frowns at the person.
A girl with green eyes the color of emeralds. Her hair jet black and a cat like grin plastered in her face. Her pose seductive with a curvy body. The girl was gorgeous. She had on a simple green halter top with a black skirt and dark pumps. She gazed at him flirtatiously," Well, well, look what the cat dragged in. I've never seen you here before."
Her voice was flirtatious too, like a purr. She almost resembled a cat watching her latest catch with a lazy smile.
He smirks," Bruce Wayne. I just recently transferred here, today is my first day here."
She takes a step closer to him," Selina Kyle, whatever gossip you hear about me is questionable."
"Mostly bad?" He says while crossing his arms.
"It depends really, what is good and what is bad?" Selina smirks," Someone ending a relationship because of me can be either one of those two. Bad if I told him to do it, good when he ends it without letting me know he is interested in me in the first place. I get those a lot."
He raises an eyebrow at this," And their girlfriends?"
She gives a haughty laugh," Lots of catfights. They claim I am the reason they break up with them. Quite unfair actually." She says with little interest.
"Are you?"
"Of course. I have a reputation to uphold. I don't always welcome such affections, but a girl's gotta get her kicks somewhere. So, where do you get your kicks?" Her eyes now held mirth in them.
"Kicks?"
"Girlfriends on the side? Your little black book of numbers." Selina says with her eyes on her nails.
"But, if I told you that, it wouldn't be a secret anymore. I have a reputation to uphold too you know." He says.
"Oh, a heartbreaker. Mmm, now that is just tasteful. Well, whenever you feel the need to add a scratch to that black book, look me up. I'm usually behind the school's alley, waiting for the next lick or two." She waves her fingers as she walks away smoothly, the girl walked lithe like, he had to admire that.
Someone whistles behind him," Meow!"
Bruce turns around to face the boy, he was a bit shorter than him, thin and had blonde and blue eyes. He had a lopsided grin as he waved at him," Hey, you're Bruce Wayne right?"
Bruce nods.
"Okay, good. Someone asked me to give this to you." He hands him a folded piece of paper and leaves quickly.
Bruce unfolds the piece of paper and smiles at the words on it with recognizable writing, her writing, 'Lunch on roof' was all that was written on it. He smirked, she forgot to mention which building's roof she wanted meet up on. He sighs as he folds the paper and places it in his pocket and calls her cell, getting her voicemail.
He closes his phone and sighs again, she obviously wanted to make him look for her.
