Today, to me the world is black
and I will not see it, for I lack
just two things I need: my eyes
and Gus, to whom I said goodbye.
There is a feeling in my gut
and the same feeling in my heart.
I have this feeling of loss
and over it I cannot gloss
because today, Gus is no more.
