Mornings in Hueco Mundo were both warm and cold, at least to Ichigo, although the goddess snuggled into his side contributed to his sense of comforting warmth. The glowing blue Unison Marks seemed to alight with joy as Ichigo pulled Nel closer, which caused them to nearly dance with light. Nel was still fast asleep, she was beautiful beyond compare in his eyes; all he wanted to do was hold his teal-haired angel for many eternities, as he had never experienced such a feeling of happiness and peace.
He did eventually get up, but only after holding Nel for about an extra half hour as she slept. When Ichigo finally did pull himself from the bed, he kissed her forehead, ever so softly, which made the Unison Marks glow luminescent for the duration of the kiss. Ichigo wandered over to the kitchen, which is amazing she had one since there was no need for food for her in Hueco Mundo, and it was hard to farm in Hueco Mundo, but many low level hollows had started to take up that occupation since Aizen's reign ended. He was hoping to make some breakfast as he gathered various food items, although he had no idea what he was actually doing. Yuzu's culinary abilities sadly never wore onto Ichigo, as his cooking abilities were pathetically abysmal on a good day.
Neliel awoke to the scent of burning food, and with her curiosity greater than her desire to stay snuggled into the sheets of her warm bed. "Itsygo," she managed to say groggily , walking towards her kitchen, "What the hell is goin- OH FUCK!" she shouted with alarm as she sighted the blazing fire producing thick smoke from the pan on the stove, with Ichigo scrambling to turn off the stove and extinguish the flames, with a loud torrent of curses being yelled by him. Ichigo did put out the flames and turn off the stove, but his task was harder than he thought. "I'm sorry Nel- I was trying to make breakfast and-" Nel had cut Ichigo's explanation short by abruptly placing her lips softly on his, which caused him to first tense up, but then relax as he returned the sudden kiss. "That was a smoky kiss" Ichigo remarked, making Nel giggle and hug him, and the Marks glowed happily as the two held each other close.
Nel eventually did end up making some breakfast, and unlike her love, she did not set the food ablaze. The two ate happily, as Nel was surprisingly skilled with cooking. As they finished their meal, Ichigo asked "Are you ready to go to the Soul Society?" and as Nel closed her eyes and smiled, responding happily, "The second you are, Itsy!". "I totally am, let's go, Nel." He held out his left hand ( the one with the Unison Mark), and Nel opened an Garganta, and took his hand in hers as they slipped in, as they entered together, Unison Marks glowing softly.
They arrived in the Soul Society, still hand in hand, and as the Garganta closed, the 6th company surrounded them, as an escort. Renji, Rukia, and Byakura all immediately recognized the former Tres Espada, by her characteristic teal hair and the pink mark across her face, making them loosen up, knowing she was not a threat, and possibly an ally. On the other hand, the rest of the squad sensed the spiritual energy that was powerful enough to give a few of the weaker shinigami very intense headaches, they all were very nervous of the female with a white, skull-shaped mask adorned on her head. Nel recognized these three shinigami, and with with a hint of excitement, exclaimed, "Hey look,it's Rukia, Renji, and Rukia's brother! It's been a long while since I saw you guys!"
