Sunny went to the mailbox and put the envelop in the out going slot. Afterward she went to a local Starbucks to pick up a Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino before meeting up with her friend, Dai, for lunch. She got into her car and searched for the building her friend was working at. When she reached the parking lot she saw Dai talking to a guy on the side of the building. Worried about her friend, she parked the car and went outside to see what was going on.

"Hey," said Sunny as she walked up to them. She stood next to her friend and assessed the guy in front of them. He was tall with short brown hair, tanned skin, and wearing expensive looking clothes.

"Hey, this is...I'm sorry what is your name?" said Dai.

The man smiled at Sunny and stretched out his hand to her. "Bond. Blake Bond."

Sunny looked at his hand for two seconds before shaking it. "I'm Sunny."

"It's a nice day isn't it?" said Blake.

"No. My name is Sunny." she corrected him.

"Oh, Sunny! Bright name." he said with a goofy grin.

Sunny turned to her friend. "Ready to go?"

"Yes," said Dai.

The two women began to walk away when Blake inserted himself in front of them, blocking their path.

"Where are you two going?"

"Lunch." said Dai.

"What a coincidence, me too!" said Blake. "Mind if I join?"

Sunny didn't know this Blake guy and waited for Dai to make the call.

"Sure...why not."

When they got to the restaurant Sunny excused herself and Dai to the bathroom. After she was done using the bathroom, Sunny washed her hands and waited by the sink for Dai. When Dai came out, she washed her hands.

"What's with Blake?" asked Sunny.

Sunny glanced Dai and saw how tensed she was. It was Dai's first day at work as a paid intern for a company and Sunny was picking her up for lunch. The appearance of Blake threw her off. She knew how shy Dai was around men, especially ones that look like him.

"I don't know him. He just came up to me in the parking lot."

"You mean you just met him too?" Sunny didn't know what to say to that. "Well...he seems nice-ish."

"I think he likes you."

"Or he likes you."

Dai shook her head back and forth. "I doubt it."

Ever since a freak accident that injured both of Dai's legs, she had been down on herself. During six months of treatment, she had gained sixty pounds and developed low self-esteem. Before the accident, Dai was physically active in the farm she used to live in. She was tanned and thin with a lean body. She had inherited an exotic and beautiful face from her Japanese and Irish parents. After Dai got the okay from her doctor, she was slowly returning to her active lifestyle and normal weight. She had lost ten pounds so far and was looking great. Too bad she didn't realize that herself.

"Why are you wearing glasses?" asked Sunny.

"I thought it would make me look more like an office jockey." Dai adjusted her glasses and straightened her pinstripe suit.

"Do all office workers wear glasses?"

"No. Um...except for the people who really need them."

"Do you need them?"

"No. These are non-prescription." Dai took off the fake glasses and splashed cold water on her face. "They are giving me pimples. I'm not wearing them anymore." She put the glasses in her purse and they left the bathroom to their table where Blake waited.

Blake stood up for them and pulled out their seats. The two women thanked him and sat down. Dai was quiet after they ordered their food. It left Sunny to start the conversation with Blake.

"Do you work at Scanguards?"

"Sorta. My...dad and his friends do."

His nervousness on the subject was hard for Sunny and Dai to miss. Sunny decided to probe him since none of them knew who he was and why he was bothering them.

"Do you work there or not?"

"I'm in training to be a bodyguard."

"What's your dad's name?"

"Quinn. He's away. I got the mansion all to myself."

"You live with their parents?"

"You got nothing to worry. He and my...mom are cool. My brother is there. He sleeps most of the day." Blake stopped talking and thought it over. "We'd better hang out somewhere else."

Sunny found it odd that he made it sounded like they had already agree to go to his house with him, which they didn't. "Excuse me? We didn't agree to anything or go anywhere. Please stop making assumptions. We don't even know you."

"Oh! You can bring your friend if you want too. I can find someone for her."

Dai broke her silence. "No thanks."

"No thanks." repeated Sunny.

"Come on, just one date."

"You seem nice but sorry I'm not looking for..." Sunny pause to search for the right words, "what you are offering."

"It's just a date."

Sunny phone rang. She took it out of her pocket and looked at the caller ID. "Excuse me." She stood up and went to the bathroom the answer the call.

"Hi, Mr. Keller," said Sunny.

"Hey, Sunny. I was calling to see how my Baby Girl's first day was."

"Dai is a little nervous but I think it's going good."

"Good to hear. Also, Mrs. Keller wants to know who that boy you are sitting with is."

It figures, Dai's parents were spying on them. They have been overprotective of her after the accident. She was visiting a museum on a school field trip and some classmates, who happen to live in the farm next to them, were goofing around. They caused her to fall off an indoor balcony and land on top of a priceless antique. Her mom got revenge on the classmates by pouring saltwater on their farmland. Their crops would never grow again and they are suffering financially.

"His name is Blake Bond. He's a coworker. A bodyguard in training. Has a dad name Quinn, a mom, and brother."

"Thanks. Enjoy your lunch."

"No problem." she said before hanging up.

She left the bathroom and returned to her table where her food had already arrived. Blake stood up and pulled out her chair for her.

"Thank you." She sat down and ate her meal.

"We can go to the movies? There's a new movie coming out about a haunted house." suggested Black. He wasn't giving up easily.

Sunny and Dai hurry and ate. They finished their food.

"I need to go back to work." said Dai.

The two women stood up to leave but Blake stopped them.

"Can I get your number?" he asked.

"Sorry, I don't have a phone." said Sunny.

A waiter came to hand Blake the bill. He took out his wallet to pay and saw that the women had prepaid for their orders expect for his. The women quickly got up and left while he was distracted. They walked with a fast pace and jumped into the car. Sunny started the ignition and flew out of the parking lot.

"I don't feel right about ditching him like that." said Dai.

"He's thick. He won't even realize it." Sunny glanced at her rear-view mirror to make sure he was not following them.

"You're right. I wonder if he even works at my place."

"'Sorta', he claims. What does that even mean?"

Dai shrugged.

Sunny pulled into the parking lot and dropped Dai off. Dai waved at her as she walking back into the building. Sunny drove around for a few minutes, trying to figure out what to do and where to go. Her employers have not called her. She was free to do whatever she wanted.

After the sun fell, Oliver has dressed and took out one of the cars to drive to Scanguards to meet Thomas for training. Samson had promised that he could get in on the action when he develops better control his powers. Thomas was a good and patient teacher, but Oliver was having trouble focusing.

He was frustrated that he could not master his vampire powers and having difficultly searching for the mysterious woman. He had sniffed the package, trying to find the scent of the woman who sent it to him. All he could smell from the box was cleaning sprays and disinfect. The same smell was on his wallet. She had cleaned his wallet out. Not just the cash but the wallet. It used to be dirty from being tossed around in his pocket, gathering pocket lint. Now it was shiny and polished like the first time he had bought it. It concluded that the woman must be a neat freak and crazy. What kind of person returns and cleans their attacker's possessions?

When he pulled into the parking lot something caught his eye. There was movement in an unfamiliar vehicle parked in the lot. He parked beside it and used his sharp vampire vision to see what was in the car. There was something round and bobbing through the window. He edged his head up to get a better look. What he saw made him chuckle. It was two round orbs clad in blue jeans that tempted him to slap and tap it. More specifically someone's butt was in the air and wiggling. Suddenly the cheeks were gone and replaced with a face that was equally tempting. She was holding a cellphone next to her ear and looking right at him.

"Shit!" he breathed. He sent her an apologetic look and she flipped him the bird.

"Anytime." he mouthed to her. A heavy set woman went into the woman's car and she drove off without looking back.

Oliver got out of the car and walked into the building with a grin on his face.

"Someone seems to be enjoying their night." said Thomas.

"Not the kind of joy you're interested in." Oliver said playfully.

Being gay, Thomas smiled back at him in understanding. "I just need to get a few things done and we can head out."

They left Scanguards and went to a club, the usual place where Thomas like to practice mind games. Oliver followed Thomas' instructions but was not able to drown out the other humans. He could not focus on one particular person.

"It's not working." said Oliver.

Thomas hummed as he glanced around the club and settled on the door. "Maybe you haven't found someone worth your interest?"

Oliver followed his line of vision and was surprised to find the woman with the great ass and her friend. The woman found a table in the back and motioned for the waiter. Oliver focused on the ass lady and was able to hear bits of their conversation. But he didn't know which voice belonged to whom.

"...being on all fours..."

Were they saying what he thought they were? Trading sex stories?

"I like it...on my knees..."

"From the look on your face you must be hearing something good." said Thomas.
