I just want to put out a warning that there is offensive language towards the end of the story. I want to apologize and completely understand if some of you choose not to read. With that being said, on with the story! I know this chapter is short, but is pretty important! It certainly isn't a boring one! I appreciate all the love and support this story has had, and I hope you all continue to read and support! Now on with the story x

By the time she got back half an hour later Harrison was still sitting on the couch frozen like a statue. After deciding beating up Charlie would solve absolutely zero of her problems, Liv opted to call the police. She dumped the bat and knuckles and headed home before any cops showed up at the house. She wanted to be done with Charlie once and for all, and she knew the only way for that to happen, was to leave it to the professionals.

"Are you going to say anything?" Harrison asked quietly as she sat down on the couch perpendicular to him.

Liv scoffed, flipping the TV channels to find Jimmy Fallon.

"Olivia..."

"I don't know. Maybe." She shrugged. "I don't feel sorry for you, not one bit. Being gay doesn't make you a nice person. You don't have my sympathy. I hope they absolutely destroy you because you've been nothing but disgusting to me. I hope they shred you to pieces."

"I know you hate me, but this isn't your secret to tell." Harrison said dryly. "This is none of your concern."

"I can make it my concern." She threatened. "I dare you to give me one more reason to run up those stairs and tell them everything, because I will. I don't give a fuck about you Harrison, and I will prove it right now."

He gulped, nodding his head meekly. "Alright."

"Do you have a thing for my boyfriend?"

"WHAT?!"

"Is that why you called me a whore for sleeping with him? Do you have a thing for my boyfriend?" Liv was dead serious as she spoke.

"Are you insane?!" Harrison fired out defensively.

Liv shrugged. "I don't care what you do with your life, just leave Fitz and I out of it. I'm here to tell you that he is very, very, very, straight. So back off." It was all making sense now. Harrison's strange reaction to the news. His unashamed and ridiculous slut shaming. It could only mean one thing, her brother had a thing for her boyfriend.

"You're out of your mind." He growled at her.

She shrugged. "It all makes sense. I couldn't help but wonder why on earth you were so mad. With mom it made sense, she's just fucking delirious and hysterical. But with you... there was so much anger, so much resentment. And now I realize, it wasn't just anger, it was jealously."

"Shut. Your. Mouth."

"You're jealous." She smirked. "This entire time you've been jealous! I'm the one who he wants. I'm the one he says I love you to all the time. I'm the one he gets into bed with at night. I'm the one he makes love to all night long. And you're fucking jealous."

At this point Harrison had no words left to fight. "Are you done?"

"Stay away from my man Harrison. I would hate for you to see my protective side." With that she practically threw the remote at him with a victorious grin. For once, she had the upper hand when it came to him and it felt phenomenal.

"Is that a threat?"

"It's a promise. Goodnight."

After waking up in the morning Liv laid awake in her bed trying to process the events of last night. She finally had the upper hand, and everything made sense. Harrison's constant aggression when it came to her socializing with Fitz from the start of the summer now to this raging hatred for their relationship. The cause of his odd behaviour was now drastically clear. His reaction to her and Fitz's relationship was finally justified. Harrison was simply jealous.

Scoffing, Liv hopped out of bed and trudged on downstairs where Harrison sat at the coffee table with two breakfast plates. "I thought we could talk." He said lowly, gesturing to the extra plate of pancakes, bacon, eggs and fruit.

Liv scoffed yet again, "about what?"

"Liv please just hear me out..."

"My name's Olivia you sack of shit. Now what do you want?"

"5 minutes of your time... Please."

"Speak, now. I have to get ready to go to the hospital soon."

With a deep breath Harrison decided to swallow his pride. "What you found in my closet... You can't tell anyone. Not mom. Not dad. Not Fitz. Not. Anyone."

"You're in absolutely no position to make any demands." Liv smirked. "So no. I'm telling Fitz."

"You can't tell Fitz! I—"

"You made my life a living hell for the past however many weeks!" Olivia flew up from the couch on which they were sitting. "So this secret—"

"What secret?" Elizabeth interrupted dryly, emerging from the bathroom upstairs. It was clear that their loud and heated conversation had travelled upstairs. Her face was stone cold and she stared heavily at both of them.

Harrison gulped and Olivia smirked. She smiled sweetly, for once the drama had absolutely nothing to do with her. "I'm gonna go shower. Visiting hours are starting soon." With that she smiled slyly and made her way out of the kitchen and up the stairs.

Elizabeth frowned, watching as her smug daughter made her way up the stairs. Her patience with her kids was running at an all time low. "What secret Harrison?" She spat out with irritation dripping from her voice.

"It's nothing." He shook his head.

"Oh it's something, and you're going to tell me right now. Otherwise I'll go upstairs and get your sister to. It's really your choice. What did she do now?! What secret is she getting you to hide?!"

Gulping, Harrison took a deep breath. "Sit down mom."

"Gay porn?" Fitz was absolutely flabbergasted. "Are you sure?" The entire thing just sounded absolutely outrageous. Harrison? His ex best friend? Gay? It couldn't be true. Harrison pursued more girls than anyone he'd ever met.

"Yeah." Liv shook her head as she fed him Cheetos from the bag. "Positive."

"Harrison... The guy who chases any tail he sees, reads gay porn?"

"It was an act." Liv frowned. "He's gay."

Fitz inhaled deeply, trying to make sense of it all. "Wow."

Deciding to leave out her suspicions about her brother's specific interests, Liv nodded her head. "It's surprising, but it makes sense."

"How did he react when you told him what you found?"

"He didn't, I didn't really give him a chance to."

"Gay or not Livvie he's still you're brother."

"He's a disgusting human being Fitz. This has nothing to do with his sexuality. This has to do with the fact that he's treated me like garbage since I can remember! I hate him!"

He sighed, extending out his hand to her. It was at times like this when he wished nothing more than to have use of his legs so he could walk over, and scoop her up into his arms. "I know baby, I know."

She allowed him to pull her towards the bed. Liv situated herself just at the edge, still allowing him to be comfortable. "I can't wait to get you out of this place, you must be so uncomfortable."

"Not to mention starving." Fitz chuckled. "And not just for food..."

"Ew!" She giggled, swatting his chest lightly. "Behave yourself! Anyway your room at the rehab center is amazing. You've got a queen sized bed, a real TV with cable and they offer real food."

"Am I allowed visitors?"

Liv grinned. "Not overnight, but I'm sure I'll find my way around it," she ran her fingers up and down his chest. "I just need you to get better so I can hold you and never let you go."

Looking up at her Fitz could see the sincerity in her eyes. She meant each and every word she said. She loved him. She needed him. She relied on him. And in that moment Fitz realized now more than ever he needed to tell her just how much she had meant to him over the last week. She had been there when his own parent's hadn't. Morning, noon and night she would show up with a smile on her face, and wouldn't leave until the nurses practically dragged her out. He loved her. He needed her. He relied on her. She absolutely the one thing in the world holding him together. She was all that he needed in her world.

Laying her head on his chest softly after noticing his abrupt silence, Liv began to trace circles up and down his arm with her fingertips. "Everything okay babe?"

He nodded his head, running his fingers through her soft curls. With a deep breath and all the courage in the world he asked, "will you marry me?"

Immediately she rose from his chest, staring at him with watery eyes and a look of bewilderment. "...What?" She croaked.

"I can get you a ring." He said nervously. "Once I'm better I will get you the biggest ring you've ever seen but I... Look Olivia I love you, more than I ever imagined possible. I didn't think I could fall so hard, so fast, but I did. And I can't fucking imagine my life without you, not for a second. And the second I'm walking I want to march you down to city hall in Rhode Island and I want to make you my wife. You are my absolute everything Olivia, and I never want to stop loving you. I want to love you when we're old and grey. I want to—"

"Yes."

"What?"

"I'll marry you." She was now sobbing, wiping her tears with the back of her hand. "Just stop I'll marry you."

And with those 3 little words, Fitz had all the motivation in the world to get to Rhode Island and start walking. He had a fiancée wanting on him, and he was not about to start disappointing her.

"I love you so much Livvie." He wrapped his arms around her as tight as possible.

"I love you so much more."

She was engaged, and Olivia could honestly say she'd never ever been happier in her life. Fitz was the absolute light of her life. He was keeping her sane in the absolute mad house she lived in. He was truly the only thing keeping her from going out of her mind completely. He was what she needed to be good for.

It took her a full 15 minutes parked in her driveway for Olivia to come down off her lifehigh. She was engaged, and to the man of her dreams. The man she could barely stand to spend a second without. And as she walked to her house and opened the door a part of her was already imaging the babies they would have. Perfect, soft, round, chubby, smooshy babies.

"What are you smiling about?" Elizabeth growled from the kitchen. From the moment she stepped inside Olivia could tell something was wrong. The atmosphere was off. Her gut was telling her that something was about to go down, and her gut had never failed her before.

"Nothing." Liv kept her lips sealed, plopping herself on the couch next to her brother. For someone who had just been caught in his biggest, darkest secret, Harrison seemed awfully smug.

"I bet." Elizabeth spat.

"I'm sorry, is there an issue I've missed?" Olivia said flatly. "As far as I'm concerned everything was fine when I left for the hospital."

"You can cut the shit, Harrison told me the big secret you were hiding this morning." Elizabeth practically ran full force at her daughter, stopping at the foot of the couch.

"So why in the hell are you yelling at me?!" Olivia barked back. "I didn't do anything!"

"Oh really? Is that why you've been hounding Harrison for money to support your disgusting drug habit!"

Stunned, Liv's mouth dropped open. She honestly couldn't believe the audacity of her brother to do something like this. And to think she had kept her mouth shut about his secret, only for him to lie on her. She had truly reached her breaking point with both her mother and brother. Liv had never been so certain that this would be the last time she would ever speak with them. "Are you serious Harrison? You WOULD LIE LIKE THAT?! AFTER EVERYTHING?!"

He avoided eye contact, remain firming in his resolve as he looked upon his raging mother.

Denzel shook his head. When Harrison called him down to share this revelation with both him and Elizabeth, he immediately smelled bullshit. It just didn't make any sense. For starters, Harrison didn't have any money, and Liv was much too smart to get involved with drugs. He knew his daughter well enough to know that she knew the dangers of drugs.

"I have to say, the whole thing defies logic." Denzel exhaled. "Where the hell would Harrison be getting this money from? And why would you give it to her?!"

"Olivia clearly isn't the daughter we thought we raised, and it's time you accepted that." Elizabeth growled at her husband before turning to her daughter.

"You're just mad because your brother finally exposed you for the toxic human you are, and frankly—"

"And frankly what?! Olivia hyped up.

"Don't you dare take that tone with little girl! I will have your life and a half!" Elizabeth screeched. This was an argument long overdue, and with the tension rising between Liv and her mom it was certainly not going to be pretty.

"I hate you." Olivia stated simply. "I hate you so much. You're a blood sucking leach and I've watched you suck the life out of dad and I'm not about to let you do that to me. You're a sad, miserable, old witch and I hate you."

Elizabeth's face fell despite her best efforts to hide her reaction. She swallowed deeply and spoke lowly. "Get your shit, and leave. GET OUT."

Olivia scoffed. "Second best news I've heard all day." She ran up the stairs like a speeding bullet. As best she could Olivia packed up her room. With her toiletries in one bag, Liv tried her best to pack her clothes into her suitcases. What didn't fit she would have to leave and honestly Liv didn't care.

She was done with this.

She was done with Florida.

She was done with Harrison.

She was done with Elizabeth.

Olivia was done.

Dragging her suitcases down the stairs Olivia was met by the one person she truly only cared about in her family. "Please don't go." Denzel begged. "Please just... We'll go to therapy, we'll do something... Olivia please."

"I'm done." Liv exhaled. "I'll call you once I've settled."

Denzel nodded. His baby girl was no longer a girl anymore. She was a now a young woman, and if she wanted to leave, he couldn't legally stop her. "Please let me know when you're safe. You know I will always take care of you."

Liv smiled softly, kissing her dad on the cheek as he discretely placed his and Elizabeth's car keys in the palm of her hand. "I love you."

"I love you more." Denzel exhaled, allowing her to step past him.

"Don't come back." Elizabeth said dryly. "I don't ever want to see your disgusting lying face ever again."

Olivia watched as Harrison sat there silently as Elizabeth completely destroyed her. And that's when it hit her, these two were not her family. Family was more than blood. Family was love, support, trust and loyalty. And the only people that came to mind when it came to family were Fitz and Denzel. Harrison wasn't her family. Elizabeth wasn't her family either. So why on earth was she showing them loyalty they didn't deserve?

"Fitz proposed." Olivia beamed to her mother's ultimate disgust. The look of horror upon Elizabeth's face was almost delicious. "And I'm marrying him whether anyone likes it or not."

"What a stupid, naïve little girl you are." Elizabeth retorted. "Now get out."

"Gladly." Olivia wheeled her suitcases out to the car, placing them in the trunk. Once everything was packed and loaded, Liv returned again to the front door to get in the last word. "By the way, Harrison's a faggot." And with that, Olivia slammed the door shut, leaving her 'family' behind.
