Summary:

Briggs and Charlie are on location in Hawaii to shut done a case, but mission was a plan all their own.

His feet sunk into the sand with the minuscule granules in between his toes. The sun scold at him with its rays of sweltering heat. Pearls of ocean water dropped from his chin. Paul pondered in his thoughts, wondering where does the day end and the night begins, how about when sweet dreams start and nightmares depart? How are the granules of sand turned to glass? Clear see-though glass that can be shattered into minuscule pieces again. It's a cycle rotation of though and action intertwining becoming one and separating. Where do dreams end and reality begin? He achieved practically immortality at Quantico with unbeatable records. He gave his heart to a hardcore-Italian sweetheart whose family sauce recipe put Chef Boyardee out of business and would someday soon give birth to the next generation of Briggs.

He no longer wanted to appeal to a nurse's better nature, but his own and the love of his life. Paul and Charlie married on a remote spot on Laniakea Beach in Hawaii, with a justice of the peace and two witnesses of the Graceland couple who shall remain nameless and vowed to keep secrecy. The ceremony was short, sweet, and simple due to the abrupt interruption of giant sea turtles who rudely decided to take over there nuptial spot. Charlie wore a high-low cream dress, strappy sandals, and a giant fuchsia hibiscus flower in her hair. On the other side of the wedding aisle Briggs was clothed in a semi-formal short sleeve snap down, jeans, and flip flops. How the couple pulled off this long weekend to the 50th state, was surprisingly easy because your lies are your life, so they lied. Their "case" involved traveling to an island to investigate a couple who disguised cocaine as powdered sugar, local police force would be involved and no further assistance would be needed, plain and simple. There feet sunk in the sand with the granules in between their toes, they walked along the beach as the sunset, kissing in between steps. Charlie and Paul basked in their wedding bliss by taking in the local culture and relaxing for they knew they would not have another opportunity like this again once home at Graceland.

The husband and wife were saturated in love; to avoid the heat of the day they stayed in bed with love radiating from their pores and smiles plastered on their faces until hunger or the need to use the facilities would pull them from bed. They became nocturnal sipping on tropical drinks and dancing in the heat of the night. Paul and Charlie would shop at the nearby gift shops for souvenirs for themselves and for their fellow Gracelanders. While riding in their rental car they would sing in mismatch pitches and hit notes only dogs could hear, but they are happy, genuinely happy. "Loving you, being with you has been the best decision of my life Catherine" Paul said as their chocolate brown eyes met each others. "Paul James" she rarely used his middle name, "I'm glad you're my best friend and you asked me to marry you" Chuck spoke as she nestled her face into Paul's shoulder. "Is that your way of saying you love me?" Paul questioned. "Well is what you said earlier your way of saying you love me?" Charlie retorted. "No" Paul answered. "No" Charlie looked quizzed at Briggs. After a moment of silence Paul spoke, "I love you Catherine" while taking Charlie's hand into his own. Charlie's eyes glistened with "I love you Paul James Briggs." "Whoa government name, huh?" Paul said with a chuckle. "No better way" Chuck smiled. "Quantico couldn't made a better agent" Paul spoke. "Thank you baby" Charles said with a smile. "You are most quiet welcome darling" Briggs spoke softly. Following this statement the newlywed couple kissed passionately causing there hammock to rock back and forth.

Mr. and Mrs. Briggs returned to their honeymoon suite to pack for their return home. Once their bags were packed and ready for the endeavors of the airport, the couple spent their last night in Hawaii surprisingly quite, if you exclude their rendezvous in the shower. They ate by-way of room service and got into bed early to prep for their airplane ride back to California. The moon's light peeked through the shades of the window while the sweet aroma of hibiscus flowers and the Pacific Ocean created a sincerely pleasant atmosphere for sleep. However, the FBI agents weren't asleep they were awake because there was something on their minds. Finally Charlie turned to see Paul's bare back and began to draw a picture on it using her fingers, her jumped at her touch and turned over to face his wife. "Paul?" "Yeah babe" her husband answered in a husky voice. "Do you ever thing about the baby?" Charlie's voice echoed in the silence.
