Zeelee-Vallen: The inspiration for this story is mainly from a manga called ½ prince, and a few other online like story, so there will be a lot of elements alike it. It's such an amazing story, you must read it if you can.

It was time. She put on the headset, and laid down on her bed. This was the awkward part, she needed to say the words to activate the headset. "I enter the game of Life." She mumbled.
Then, she was suddenly standing in a white room. There was nothing until a woman materialized from pixels in front of her. Damn, the NPC(non player character) was a beauty! The woman had short red hair that framed her face, her eyes were vividly emerald, and her skin was beautiful gold.
"Hello, welcome to Life." The NPC spoke, her voice sounded like chimes. "You are the very first player to log on, the company would like to thank you for playing." Hinata paused, tilting her head when she felt the tingling sensation of anxiety. Ah, yes. 98% reality. "Now, let us decide on your character." The NPC opened her arms wide, and multiple versions of herself lined up around her, there had to be every kind of fantasy race imaginable. It was rather impressive.
But one thing bothered her. Why was it only females? "I would like to see the male versions, please." She asked, looking through the different races. Then NPC blinked, tilting its head.
"I am sorry, but due to the rules of the game, each person must stay in their gender to make it more realistic." The NPC spoke. Ah... That was... Inconvenient. What about to those who did not conform to gender norms?
"Then I guess..." She paused, looking through the classes. Which one would be most neutral? A beast?
"Due to a popular demand," The NPC's voice brought her attention back. Her eyes were now gold, but slowly faded back to emerald. "The higher ups have decided to take back the rule. They do wish to be inclusive to the LGBTQ+, who were not considered in the character creation. There are now options for gender-fluid, non conforming, or non-binary peoples. You may use the base of either of the two genders, and then you can also choose masculine, feminine, or genderless presenting. We have also split up the tops and bottoms of avatars, so you may chose what parts you want to use. We are sorry for the inconvenience; this was a last-minute change." The NPC said. The space filled more options, all of which flooded the area.
Thank goodness. She was not fond of playing female characters! Male was her usual go to, but genderless options? That was amazing.
"I would like to see genderless options please." The genderless forms popped up. It was perfect. There were no defining features for the body parts, and the face mimicked her own, so looked more feme.
"There is the option for intercourse, so we do suggest having a lower body part. If not, your character will be limited in its actions with other avatars." The NPC said. Ah... Well it wasn't like that's what she was playing the game for. In fact, she never partied up with anyone for long. She preferred to solo level, it increased the challenge.
"No change in bottom half. However, make it taller." The avatars now towered over her. Longer reach and legs, it helped when it came to long distance traveling and battle. "Can I see the skill stats?"
The NPC shook her head. "All stats will be randomly allocated when you enter the game." Heck.
There was only two choices for her. A dark elf, or a normal elf. The elves looked rather fragile, even dainty. It would be good for speed, and many people would likely underestimate her. The dark elf looked rather interesting, its skin was tinted grey, and its eyes blood red. Of course, she could customize.
"I would like to be a dark elf. Darken the skin a few shades so the grey is more prominent, with blood red eyes and snow white hair." The avatar poofed in front of her. It stood a little taller than her, with broad shoulders and a solemn expression. She eyed it up and down. It wore basic peasant clothing. It was a pleasant mix of feme and masc.
"Yes, it will do fine." She looked to the Npc, who smiled, her head tilted.
"All you have left is to choose a username." The NPC chimed.
Hinata grinned, her eyes lighting up. It was time! She would use the same name she always used. The name that's so often on the top charts. "Death." There was a ding, telling it was available.
"Thank you for your patience and have fun playing the game~!" She was now in the new body, her eyes going wide as the nerves connected.
She clenched her hand, and unclenched. It felt so real.
There was a light, and next thing she knew, she was standing in a near empty town.
And thus, her game started.
