Blind

She doesn't dwell on appearance,

Or glance at an empty shell

Unblinkingly, she gazes at nothing

But her real eyes seek the truth

Her true eyes notice emotions seen by her alone

On the surface, her world is black

Though digging reveals the reality

She can open her eyes and see, but her window of sight is unlike any other

At times, the window may get murky

But behind the veil, her sight is better than most

Sometimes we need to close our eyes for a moment

Ignore the outside earthly limitations

Close your eyes and pretend

If only the human race gazed upon the world like the blind girl
