Where There's a King There's Always a Queen
Ch 1: Dreams of the past, Faces of the future
Bakura didn't know what was going on with the Millennium Ring lately, it was showing him weird dreams or were they visions? He didn't know which, but every time he had one he was back in ancient Egypt as the King of Thieves. He was sitting on his "throne", his band of fellow thieves were gathered in the room with him, and there, right there in front of him, was a beautiful no gorgeous creature singing a siren tune and dancing to her heart's content . She intrigued him, hypnotized him. She was one of them, one of thieves, that was beyond obvious, because if she wasn't she would be a slave of his band. But he couldn't see her face at all, but he could see a sweet, tempting smile appear on her blemish free, porcelain, angel face. She aimed it at him. He allowed her to come to him, allowed her to rest her tired, slim, flawless body on his lap; he wrapped an arm around her waist and drew her close to him. He knew her and yet he didn't, he couldn't remember who she was. "You're in a good mood this evening." She purred into his ear as other dancers took her place and the feast that was for celebrating a successful raid began. The servants handed each of them a goblet of wine.
He chuckled, "Why wouldn't I be in a good mood when I have a goddess gracing me with her presence?" He asked smiling lovingly at her as she caressed his cheek softly.
She gave a fake laugh but kept her smile, "You're such a kiss up." She hugged him; he chuckled and kissed her gently on her forehead.
Suddenly he jolted awake in his host's bed, in a cold sweat. There was a strong thunder storm raging outside his window, the lightning casted a glow throughout the dark room. "Damn it, that wretched dream again. Who the hell is she?" The former thief layed down again and sighed as another dream took him.
The next day Bakura switched with Ryou, he allowed Ryou to get ready and go to school. On the way there his host met up with his mortal friends and walk to school with them. On the way there he saw a tall, slim woman a little ways away from him and the group. Her thick, silky midnight mane ran down her back to her waist. Her creamy skin was flawless. But her eyes, her eyes are what caught his attention, they were so unnerving, but spellbinding all the same. Her eyes were sharp as a hawk's. They were a perfect, yet fierce, forest green. She didn't notice them. Before he could get a really good look at her Yugi pulled him out of his stare and asked him something, after Bakura replied he looked back at the woman, she was gone.
The thief king was flustered for once, "Where have I seen her before? And why is my heart racing?"
