"Start from the beginning. This time leave nothing out." Makarov growled. Poised as though to release the full extent of his magic upon me.

"I never lied to you. But telling you some parts of this story were not going to help my case. I was going to, o was going to tell all of you! I swear it!" my voice faltered. How could I defend myself with something I was admitting to do.

"Start. Now." Both the master and Erza said at once. I looked around the room at those present. Grey, Natzu, Lucy, Wendy, and Mira were all their, looking at me with questioning eyes.

"Ok. Nothing I told any of you was a lie. I'm from another world, I was drawn through by giving my life up to save a kid named Alphonse Elric. The only thing I didn't tell you… was my job."

Natzu chimed in from the corner. "So why are we worrying again? He's already proved himself to be on our side, a few times."

"Quiet!" Makarov snapped, thunder cracking in the room.

"I worked for the Fuhrer, the king. I answered directly to him, hence they alchemists were called the 'dogs of the military'. Most of my work made me a spymaster of sorts. Collecting information, making contacts… eliminating threats." My voice fell to a whisper. The terror on some of the faces in the room hung like vines in a jungle. "I was trained to wield a scythe because it would strike terror into those who would oppose the Fuhrer. But as it turned out, he was the one who was tearing the country apart. He was going to sacrifice the entire country to create a philosophers stone, an object of unlimited power."

I looked back at the master. His hard glair was unchanged. The air around him crackled with magic power. "and so?"

"That's it, I was trained to be an assassin to protect the state, not knowing the king was behind all of the problems. The minute I found out I left, fleas to the countryside. But he wouldn't accept that, he killed the woman I loved, knowing I would come back. Knowing I would be involved in the donal battle against them. Look, that's everything. Now I'm going home, if you need anything else I'll be there."

I left the room and walked through the doors to the outside world. Knowing I wouldn't see the gates of Fairy Tail again.

A few hours later

"What's the plan? Are we gonna go lock him up for what he did in a past life?" Grey asked, the debate on how to handle the situation reaching a stalemate.

"Go retrieve him, I've made up my mind." The master said with a sigh.

Both Grey and Wendy walked to the house, they knocked on the door, only to have it open. Walking inside they notice that the place was cleared out, a single scrap of paper left on the table.

I'm finishing what I couldn't in my world. Don't bother trying to fallow, none of you should get hurt for my mistake.

Wendy had hardly finished reading the note when Grey ran out the door.
