Where There's a King There's Always a Queen
Ch10: The Queen, The King, The Pharaoh

Lieghl'ah knew she had a lot a ground to cover if she was going to get to the palace and talk to the pharaoh. "I won't be able to get there by sundown." Lieghl'ah sighed defeated. Suddenly something landed on her shoulder, it was Akilah. "Akilah! You made it!" Lieghl'ah exclaimed happily. The hawk rubbed its head against Lieghl'ah's head as Lieghl'ah smiled and held a hand to the hawk's head holding it close in a little hug. "Okay Akilah, we have to find the band and go see the pharaoh. Please go find Steryu and the band and lead them here, tell them I'll need my horse since Touzoku left on his, please." Lieghl'ah instructed the hawk. The hawk screeched and took flight. Lieghl'ah remembered that this was the day that she and Touzoku rode there to have some time alone from the band, but they had a fight and Touzoku left her there without a horse, he stranded her in the middle of nowhere, but he did leave her somewhere she could find food, water, and shelter. She knew that there was something off with him. Now she knew what, Zorc.

"Okay," Marik sighed, "Does anyone want to take a stab at guessing where she went?" Marik crossed his arms over his chest, his black wife-beater wet with perspiration.

"What's the use? Even if we do we won't be able to find her." Duke stated.

"But we have to find her before Zorc does." Yugi protested.

"Yeah, remember? Zorc said that he would get answers to his questions no matter what." Tea explained.

"But Tea, Yugi Egypt is huge how can we find her?" Joey asked.

"Hey guys." Tristan called to the group, the group turned to see what he wanted, "That guy over there said something about Lieghl'ah, he said that the bird will lead them to her." Tristan pointed at a guy that was talking to hoard of people.

"That's a bird?" Joey wondered as he stared at the creature on the man's shoulder.

"But that's Odion!" Marik exclaimed.

"No look again," Yugi said, "That guy's eyes aren't the same and he doesn't have that tattoo."

"How can we follow them, I thought you four told Marik and me that we can't touch anything in this world?" Duke inquired.

"Then how did Tristan get on that horse?" Marik looked at the brunette that was on a horse.

"Guys look we can touch stuff this time. Hurry, grab a horse they're leaving!" Tristan announced. The group grabbed a horse and they followed the group that was riding into the desert following the bird that resembled a hawk.

"I've never seen a bird like that before." Joey stated.

"Me neither." The others said in unison. The group did their best to keep up with the group that was to lead them to the lover of the King of Thieves.

~With Zorc~

"You are free Milord." The shadow "man" bowed.

"I see that and if memory serves me there's work to be done. I remember this day from my past quite clearly, it's the day that the new pharaoh took the throne over all of Egypt. And he and I have some catching up to do," Zorc walked to the edge of the cliff that was close by and over looked the palace and the village outside it and chuckled as his lost memories returned to him, "But not only do I have some catching up to do with the pharaoh but I also have catching up to do with Lieghl'ah."

~With the pharaoh~

"This way your highness." One of the servants led the pharaoh to his throne room.

"I'm sensing that something coming." Isis announced.

"What is Isis?" Mahad wondered.

"There are two beings headed this way this very moment." Isis replied.

"What can you tell us about them?" Atem questioned.

"One is female the other male." Isis closed her eyes as the Millennium Necklace glowed brightly. "But there's something else, I can't tell which one is pure and which one is the greatest evil I've ever felt."
