Where There's a King There's Always a Queen
Ch14: Blank Slate of Fear

~FlashBack Continued~

Touzoku looked at me as I latched onto his arm, "It's okay, Lieghl'ah. You're safe with me."

"Okay." I said, I was still holding onto his arm, but then I let go, "I trust you."

Touzoku nodded and took my hand and led me inside a house that was standing with all of its walls still intact. "This was our house. Mother would sit by the window and sew, my little sister would sit by mother's feet and play with her dolls that mother made for her, father would sit and read scrolls, and I would be fiddling with my dagger that father gave me. That night…I couldn't do a thing to help them…all I could do was watch the pharaoh's men slaughter them…" Touzoku spoke and I listened. He clinched his fists, his shoulders trembled, and his voice broke. Touzoku hid his face from me.

I took his face in my hands, made him look at me, and I leaned my forehead against his, "It's okay to cry, babe." I smiled tenderly at him. Touzoku's eyes were filled with tears and tears gushed down his cheeks and onto my fingers, Touzoku cried harder, "Good boy, just let it all out." I pulled him against me. Touzoku buried his face into my chest and sobbed silently. I petted Touzoku's hair and let him cry himself out.

"He left me with nothing…" Touzoku said as he pulled away as soon as he calmed down. I wiped away the wetness from his eyes.

"You do have something, Touzoku." I corrected as I placed my forehead against Touzoku's again.

"What?" He wondered.

"Me…and I'm not going anywhere, I promise. I love you." I answered whole heartedly.

"Yeah," Touzoku smiled weakly, "I love you too." Touzoku kissed me and lifted me with his arms wrapped around my waist. I draped my arms around his neck and kissed him back.

"Let's go home." I said as Touzoku put me down gently.

"Yes."

Lieghl'ah groaned as she opened her eyes, she had fallen asleep. Her neck was sore, her arms and legs were sore, her eyes burned. Lieghl'ah looked up to see Bakura sitting on the Millennium Stone, with an eerie energy and ghosts around him, across from she was tied up. "That's right my friends; our revenge is close at hand."

"The only thing that's at hand for you is a free trip to the shadow realm." Lieghl'ah said wiggling her wrists. Bakura looked over his shoulder at Lieghl'ah with a glare. Lieghl'ah glared right back at him.

"You should really learn to watch your mouth." Bakura stood up in one smooth motion and began walking over to the detained Medjia.

"I'm not afraid of you." Lieghl'ah watched Bakura come down the steps from the Stone.

"Once I get done with you, you will be." Bakura unsheathed a long dagger.

"You can't hurt me; Touzoku won't let you."

"Oh?"

"Yes, if he didn't stop you I would be in the shadow realm."

Bakura growled and he sheathed his dagger, "I'll punish you for getting smart mouth with me later. Right now I have work to do." Bakura turned, and walked away. He disappeared within the shadows of the room.

They continued down along the Nile. "I can't believe that we took our eyes off of her for a few minutes and Zorc kidnapped her." Marik said.

"Bobasa misses the pretty girl." Bobasa stated.

"But it makes sense that he took her. Lieghl'ah did mention that if the Ring and the Bracelet are brought together they would over power the other Items." Joey said.

"Yeah." Marik nodded.

"I hope Steryu, Akilah, and the band can find them before he can hurt her." Tea said looking down the Nile.

"He won't hurt her." Yugi stated.

"Why wouldn't he?" Tristan wondered.

Duke ripped some cloth from the bottom of his vest and tied his hair back with it, "Well, if Lieghl'ah's Bakura still exists then he won't allow that creep Zorc to hurt her."

"Lieghl'ah seems confident that he does and so does the pharaoh." Yugi stated.

"Then maybe we should be too, even if it's most unlikely." Joey took off his shirt and ringed out the perspiration and let his toned chest and stomach glistened with sweat.

"And plus Lieghl'ah is tough, she can handle Zorc." Marik added.

The others nodded. "We have to find the pharaoh as soon as possible." Yugi said.

Bakura came back to the chamber after an hour and a half. Lieghl'ah was bored and even though she loathed Zorc she talked him. Their conversation had been ten minutes long so far. "Not only is Touzoku holding you back…you're in love with me. You're Jealous of the relationship we have, so you want to rip it apart so you can have me all to yourself." Lieghl'ah thought she had him all figured out.

"You think you're pretty clever, don't you? I could care less about you and you ridiculous relationship with this fool, all I want is Zorc to be awakened and the pharaoh to perish."

"Then why are you still holding me here when you already have what you needed from me?"

"Because I have yet to punish you and believe me, it will be very painful."

"What are you going to do?" Lieghl'ah was curious.

"You will see when the time comes, my dear, but for now you'll just have to be patient."

"You know, I'm starting to think that this so called punishment of yours is just a bluff."

Bakura laughed, he lifted Lieghl'ah face by grasping her chin, "Well then, won't you be surprised when I make your worst fear a reality."

"What do you know about my worst fear, Zorc?" Lieghl'ah pulled her chin out of Bakura's fingers.

"I know everything about your fears, Lieghl'ah," Bakura sneered evilly, "Everything."
