Link looked at his squad as they performed an equipment check.
Asis spoke up, "Is everyone set"?
Link looked back "Yes sir, we are ready"? They almost ran into the gat when red team heard a sound.
"Wait! Please!" Link looked back to see Sho and….Black running towards Asis.
Asis turned to face them, "Black, I'm filled with joy that your recove-"
Black looked at Asis, "Sir, where is Terro"?
Asis looked back at him "On a mission to eradicate a shadow base".
Black and Sho both yelled "WHAT"!
Black looked at Asis "Sir, Terro couldn't survive something like that".
Asis looked at him "I am more than aware of that".
Black looked at Asis "Please sir, we wish to accompany his".
Asis rubbed his face before turning to Link, "This is going to be a while, just go through the gate now."
Link gestured to move forward, and the group charged.
Oh man, I wish I had taken Ze's advice about practicing with the gate Link thought as he felt nauseous when he reached the end of portal.
They arrived to find the outpost trampled, trampled by something big.
Link looked to see a Hyrulean crawling toward a potion. He had a red pool under him that probably wasn't cherry juice.
Link ran to him and rolled him over. Yes, he was an enemy, but he was also a person, and had probably seen the whole thing happen.
The Hyrulean shrieked in terror.
Link desperately tried to comfort him with a, "Shhh, its ok we're not here to hurt you".
Something was wrong with his eyes, they weren't staring at him.
Link heard a crash and quickly turned around.
A tree had fallen, nothing more.
Link sighed in relief, but all too soon.
Suddenly Soldier was pulled in to the forest by some tentacle and went quiet.
The group started searching the forest when suddenly: "AHHHHHH!"
Soldier's enthusiastic cry was heard as he flew overhead yelling "I TELEPORTED BREAD!"
Link looked to Engineer for an explanation: "Uh oh", yea that helped.
Suddenly a tree crashed and Link nearly crapped his pants.
The giant bread monster was what it sounded like: A giant loaf of bread, except with green spots covering it. And the teeth. Link was pretty sure those weren't normally on bread either.
Heavy pulled out his Warrior's Spirits and began to attack the bread monster with the medic healing him.
Scout pulled out his Boston basher and muttered "Man this brings back bad memories", and charged in.
Engi's sentry was already opening fire while the Engineer tried to keep up with the metal.
Demo was slicing through the giant bread monster.
Pyro was turning it into toast.
Everyone was desperately trying to kill the giant loaf of pain.
(Time jump: 30 minutes later)
Link looked at Scout, "How did you kill it before"?
Scout yelled "We had a bomb!"
Link cursed under his breath.
Demo man pulled out his loch n' load and fired a mag (Clip?)into the bread loaf?
Hardly effective.
Suddenly a cry ripped through the air as Soldier slashed 5 tentacle with his market gardener.
Sniper's arrow was lit on fire and shot inside the monster as it opened its mouth.
The creature began to burn slowly but surely.
As it burned, the smoke from the fire rose into the air, causing Link to begin to worry.
If Hyrule found out before the army was ready, they might never get a chance again.
Suddenly the air around them began to swirl into some sort of vortex.
The air churned tighter and tighter until.
BOOM!
An army of Disciples appeared before Link (Think Sid mier's after earth, only instead of guns, they have swords for this series)
An Apostle approached Link (Also from After Earth) "The master is making an important descision right now. We must hold this land until reinforcement's gate in.
Link nodded, after all what could happen in, like 30 minutes.
He really needed to quit thinking like that because not 2 second afterward, a Hyrulean scout was seen in the trees.
Link cried out, causing a couple of Disciples with bows to draw and shoot. But it was too late.
The scout pulled out a horn and blew it, signaling the army to charge. A couple of arrow pierced him a second later.
The Apostle of the army yelled "Men: 'Hold The Line' formation!"
The men responded by making a fortress out their interlocking shields, with only enough room to fit swords out.
Link and his team were outside the safe zone, but that was good considering they were more effective in open space.
Link could only watch in horror though as the Hyrulean soldier count rose drastically.
(Insert line break/ point of view change/ time distort: back just after Link gates in)
Asis was flipping through paper work.
He turns to the audience and says" Oh!, I didn't expect you so soon, but maybe you can help me with a decision"?
Send forces to help Terro
Keep forces at base
Send forces to aid Link
So you decide, save a psyco or let him die. This will affect the ending of this story, depending on what is chosen, help the hero or a warmonger.
