Hi! Second chapter here! And also, if you viewed this, I would love it if you also reviewed. But I will still write, even if I get, like, 0 reviews.
Chapter 2
Percy
I woke up when a bucket of sea-water was poured on my face. Most people would choke in some way if that happened to them, but the water just touched me and bounced off, leaving me with sharp senses.
"Are they there?" I asked Annabeth. She nodded once. Then she dragged me, my suitcase, and her suitcase together out of the door. Seriously, that girl was strong.
I stumbled along wither her until she stopped abruptly.
"We're there."
We were at the edge of the borders, the golden fleece glinting in the sun. There were some newcomers. A girl with pink-bubble gum colored hair, a man with white-ish gray-ish hair, a person with red hair, and an interesting man with one normal eye...the other eye was spinning so fast it made me dizzy. All of them were holding broomsticks in their hands. "Well?" the girl asked. "These are the heroes, right?"
Chiron nodded. "Tonks, Moody, Lupin, and Arthur Weasley," Chiron introduced. "Everybody choose a broom and a person."
"Erm...how long do you think it will take to get from here to England?" Thalia asked.
"A few hours. Come on," said Moody. Thalia shivered.
Everybody chose a broom and their person. Piper was going with Jason on Lupin's broom. Thalia was going with Tonks(duh), since she was the only girl. A few seconds later, they were all seated. Thalia was shivering more than ever, holding on to Tonks so hard her knuckles were turning white. The drivers kicked off with their feet, and the normal-looking broomsticks flew off in the sky. Maybe they weren't so normal after all.
Nico and Hazel put their arms around each other. Their eyes were shut tight. Chiron had told us to imagine the address: Number 12, Grimmauld place.
They dissolved into shadows, and I turned to Annabeth. "Ready?" I asked her.
"Ready."
I imagined one straight line of water from here -over or under the Atlantic-to wherever Grimmauld place was. Then. with Annabeth wrapped around me, we jumped in.
The sensation was slightly like swimming, except we were moving at almost the speed of light and it was a bit more awesome. Oh, Chiron, I thought. You could've told me this sooner. Then I could've, like, water traveled out of mt. Helens!
Very, very soon, I knew that we were actually in the water, the Atlantic. I couldn't actually see, but I felt the familiar feeling all around me. Annabeth smiled at me, and I beamed back.
In less than 20 minutes, we were standing next to a door. Nico and Hazel were already there, knocking.
"Sup," I greeted them.
They spun around, and at the same time the doors opened. A boy with messy black hair and emerald-green eyes appeared with two people: A redheaded boy and a bushy-haired girl.
"Hi. Are you the folks dad told us would be coming until school starts as Amrican transfers?" asked the redheaded boy. I nodded.
"What's your names?" asked the girl.
Annabeth glanced around. "Let's get in first, names have power." I totally agreed. She ushered us in and closed the door.
We introduced ourselves, and they did likewise. Harry Potter looked kind of like me. We both had black hair and green eyes.
"Sirius told us you would come. Hey, let's get to the meeting!"
We followed them in. I hated this place, it was almost as dark as the underground, the black walls. To make it worse, dead house-elves heads were hanging on the walls. I shivered.
We finally arrived at a room with a couple of people in it. I didn't recognize anybody, but most of them were redheads. I assumed they were one family. "Come in! said a lady(yes, redheaded) with a warm smile. "Sit! I'm Ron's mother, Molly Weasley. Dumbledore's told us all about you coming! Yes, I know you're demigods-"Hermione widened her eyes in shock-"and I think the younger ones should know, too."
"Hi , Hazel said. "Um, before we tell you guys all about our parents and stuff, can you introduce them? We wouldn't be comfortable thinking about you as 'he' or 'she' or 'redheaded person' or something.
They all told us their names. Just as I thought, all of the redheads were a family. One of the people had long, black hair, named Sirius. He owned this house because he was the last family member in the Blacks.
Suddenly, a shriek sounded from outside.
"MUDBLOODS! INTRUDERS OF THE BLACK'S HEIRLOOM! AN DISHONOR TO THE FAMILY! DIRT FACES!"
Frank blinked. "Did she just call us all Gaeas? I don't think I'm a Gaea."
"CREATURES OF DIRT!"
"Or creatures of Gaea."
"Shut, Up!" Yelled Sirius, storming out of the room. I then finally found the reason this stupid sound was reaching my ears. There was a painting of a woman, and she was moving. Huh. Maybe wizard pictures have too much ADHD or something. Anyway, the woman was screaming in the picture. It took me a while to notice that she was the one causing all the racket.
Sirius marched over to it-or her- and forced a curtain(yes, the curtain was black) over the painting, covering it completely. The screaming stopped. Or maybe I went deaf. Or something.
Sirius nodded when he was satisfied the woman wasn't going to wake up anytime soon, then walked back over to us.
Mrs. Weasley started talking again as if nothing was happening. "You'll be moving into Hogwarts as American transfers, of course."
Wait a second. Hogwarts? What..what kind of name was...
I collapsed to the floor, laughing my brains out. Well, my brain didn't actually come out, that would be gross, but you know what I mean. I haven't ever laughed this hard after going to Tartarus. Around me, my friends were laughing just as hard. Hazel was shuddering, tears running out of her eyes. She was giggling so much that she couldn't even make a sound.
"Deformed...pig skin!" She gasped. Her words melted into laugher again. It took quite some time to make us stop laughing, and by then the others had arrived.
Piper looked at the adults after another long introduction. "Well, um, we'll tell them who we are now," she said. "I'm Piper McLean, my mom is Aphrodite, the love goddess."
Hermione blinked. She didn't say anything, though.
Frank stood. "I'm Frank Zhang, son of Mars. He's Ares' Roman form."
This time, Hermione glared at him. "Prove it," she said, a challenging look in her eyes.
"I'll prove it," Thalia and I said at the same time. We looked at each other, surprised, but we faced Hermione again. Thalia made a blast of lightning hit Jason. screamed, but Jason was perfectly all right. Then, I summoned a Hurricane. I knew how tired it was going to make me, but I was going to go to sleep soon, so I figured, why not? Then, I forced it into the shape of a horse. Then, the most incredible part? It dissolved. Oh well...
Oh yeah, for my next trick, I sat down in a sofa, extremely tired.
I hadn't even realized how late it was. Then, Molly said, "You'll be going to Hogwarts in about a week, and-" Maybe he shouldn't have said that. The next thing I knew, everybody, including the people who already knew the name, collapsed into fits of laugher. I joined in. I wasn't exactly used to the fact that I'll be staying, for a year, in a school that's named after deformed pig skin.
Harry looked pleadingly at Hermione, who nodded. Harry sighed.
"Hermione thinks I should tell you the name of the wizard. She probably likes seeing you laugh your hearts out."
"Er, the evil wizard's name is Voldemort. And his followers are...death eaters."
We stared at each other in shock, sending silent no-laughing contests to each other. Finally, we just all erupted at the same time. I clutched my stomach. All this giggling was starting to make it hurt.
Eventually, the craziness started to die down. Hazel ended it-and started it again-with, "So his followers like to eat Thanatos, huh? Fat chance, he'll just pop out and disintegrate them."
It took us until about 12 o'clock to finally stop. At that time, I was so whipped I fell asleep, right there and then. I guess the laugher was sending Morpheus out of my mind for a while, because for the first time in months, I had a dreamless sleep.
Thanks to whoever said to correct the Lupin/Tonks thingy. Just a note.
