Hello! Well now, I know this chapter is on the short side, but it's not too short.

Chapter 12

Percy

Well now, as you probably guessed, we were all extremely excited when we woke up. That, added to ADHD, made us quite keen to get up and move around.

Hermione appeared at our door, looking amused and excited at the same time.

Annabeth's face appeared over mine. "Seaweed brain, if you don't get-"

I wrapped my arm around her neck and pulled her into a kiss. Hermione shook her head.

"Hey, you guys heard it, right?" she asked

Will nodded. "Right."

She shrugged. "You know, I'm surprised the boom didn't wake the rest of the school.

Will chuckled. "That's because I muted it to everybody else."

Hermione gasped. "That's really advanced! How did you do it?"

Nico smiled. "You do know who our parents are, do you not?"

"Oh..."

I grinned. "Anyway, hope we can see her when she finds out?"

"Yeah, definitely,"Annabeth replied. "We want to see her reaction, the screaming and all that."

Turns out Ron and Harry didn't come because they were busy doing this dream diary for divination. In fact, they even skipped breakfast for it.

Harry saw no reason Ron might not have done it last night, but when Harry asked he just mumbled, "doing other things" and wrote more dreams.

In between Potions, we heard the screech that meant Umbridge had seen the destruction...

On our way to charms, we stopped by Umbridge's classroom. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to see her paint-filled room.

"Professor, you look terrible!" exclaimed Piper in a mock-concerned voice. "What happened?"

"Never you mind!" said Umbridge angrily. "Now, I was under the impression you are supposed to be in charms?"

We walked away, satisfied. But not satisfied enough.

"Won't Umbridge be able to make the paint disappear, though?" asked Ron anxiously.

Leo laughed. "No, we used high-tech celestial bronze! It's not going to yield to magic so easily!"

I grinned. "Plus, I control the water. Which means it can do loop-dee-doos in her office and she won't know what to do."

Ron snickered.

Line Break- mostly because I can't get rid of it, partly because I say so.

Finally came Harry's detention at five, which we were all waiting for.

We were still hanging around at midnight, writing our giant wars essay( what do you think we wrote about? Perhaps the only one that we were actually in?) when he stumbled into the room, gasping. Ron was with us, listening to our story about how Hera the godly grandmother had stolen me and Jason for so long.

I stood up so fast when Harry came in that my quill thing and the ink dropped to the ground. I repaired it hastily and then looked up at him.

"Well?" I demanded. "What happened?"

"It was colorful, all right. Most of her cat plates were broken. She was in a terrible mood, making me do it more. Honestly, she was almost screaming her head off..."

I looked at Ron. "Do you by any chance know what he has to do for detention? I know-we know-that it can't be lines, Umbridge's too foul for that."

Ron looked at Harry uncertainly. "Er...Harry, what is she making you do?"

Harry shook his head. "Lines. Please, I have to do homework for now. Annabeth, help me?"

Obviously, Hermione couldn't help him do homework, as she was busy knitting more hats and socks.

My girlfriend nodded and strolled over to give him the second half of the moonstone lecture that she had been saving.

Ron joined them, also looking dead tired. "Fancied a walk yesterday," he said gruffly.

We left them to work and went to sleep. The next day, Annabeth told me that they had continued working until about two thirty, even longer than her, a fact I found ironic.

Then was Thursday, when Harry went to detention again but still wouldn't tell us what she was doing with him. Leo told us that he had promised Harry not to tell us the punishment until he was ready for it.

Finally, Harry came back and collapsed on his armchair, groaning. Ron was with him today, clutching his broomstick. Ron had told us that he was trying out for the Gryffindor keeper, letting Jason practice with him. Instead of using a broom, Jason just rode the wind, which actually worked even better.

Harry looked up at Leo heavily. "You can tell them. Ron already knows."

Leo sighed. "Yeah, he's been doing lines, but with these..." he shuddered. "Horrible quills. They take your own blood as ink and carves the line on your hand."

I looked at Harry, horrified. "Seriously? Dude, tell Professor McGonagall!"

Harry shook his head. "I don't want her to think she's gotten into me.

Will examined his hand. "Too bad you're not a demigod, nectar and ambrosia would've worked for this."

"Yeah...I'm going to bed."

Hermione looked up from her knitting. "Hey, you want to help me knit tomorrow? It's actually really fun, you can-"

"Homework," he said flatly. "Sorry, Hermione."

I shrugged. Well, at least Hermione's knitting was getting better. Now I can actually tell that some of it were supposed l be socks instead of hats.

At Friday, Harry trudged to Umbridge's office again. We went along to Ron's tryout. He was all right, many people played better than him, but Angelia finally decided that he was in.

We cheered for him, and he looked at us with a dumfound expression. We raced to him, still cheering. We finally hopped( okay fine, we didn't actually hop, but you get the point) back to the common room.

Hermione was making more hats.

"Hermione, I did it! I'm on the team!"

"Wha?" She turned to look at Ron and yawned. "Oh...that's fabulous."

A few minutes later and she was asleep on her armchair. Ah, well...

Ron looked a little disappointed at her reaction. Fred and George came up and looked at Hermione suspiciously.

"She's asleep, you sure?" asked Fred anxiously.

I looked at her. She was snoring. "Yeah, I think so."

George grinned. "Oi, over here!" He walked back to the circle of first years and, again, started giving them sweets. They immediately started having nosebleeds, but then they stuffed the other end of the candy in and it stopped. Fred took a bottle of butterbeer from Ron, who had taken some for celebration.

Harry chose that moment to come in.

Ron ran to him and told him what he had told Hermione.

"What? Oh, brilliant!"

Ron beamed. "I couldn't believe it. Hermione said she was pleased when I told her..."

Hermione was still sleeping in the armchair.

George sprinted in front of Harry when he made to wake her. "Let her sleep."

"Why...oh."

Harry finally noticed the first years wiping their noses free of blood. It made me remember what had waken Gaea. Me and my nosebleed. I groaned. "Never ever try to sell me a nosebleed nougat," I told Fred and George warningly.

Annabeth chuckled. "Heh, you do not want to see Percy get mad."

Angelia came over and apologized to Harry for yelling at him. "Sorry about being short with you, I was hard on Oliver Wood," etc. cetera.

"Ron, go over to Katie, try on Oliver's old robes," she said to Ron.

Then she turned to Harry again. "Well, I let him on the team. I know he's your best mate, but he's not perfect. Some other people played better today...and I'm hoping that him coming from a family of good Quidditch players will help."

Ron practically bounced over to Katie Bell, who was holding a set of golden Quidditch robes. It actually fit him quite well, especially considering Harry had told us that Wood had broad shoulders.

Hermione woke up when Harry sat next to her. "Oh...hi, it good Ron got on...I've been making hats, they disappear like crazy!"

Just like she said, there were hats laying everywhere in the room.

"Great,"said Harry flatly. "Hermione, when Umbridge touched my arm..."

He explained how his lightning shaped scar had hurt even though it usually only happened when Voldemort was near him. He says it also happened when this Voldemort-possessed guy named Quirrell touched him.

"So you think she might eat Thanatos at some point?" I asked, kicking my feet up and leaning my head back.

The demigods all laughed, but Harry didn't. "Maybe. Anything can happen," he said darkly. "I'll write a letter to Sirius-"

"No!" Hermione shrieked. "If anything, tell Dumbledore! He'll want to be bothered about this!"

Harry shook his head angrily. "That's the only thing he cares about, isn't it? My stupid forehead?"

Hermione looked shocked. "Of course not, how could you think that?"

"I'm going to bed. Tell Ron about the scar for me, will you?" He stomped up the stairs. Hermione just shrugged and went up the girl dormitory.

I yawned, wrapping my arms around Annabeth. "Come on, wise girl, I'm tired."

I stumbled to our door, putting my hand on it. It opened so fast that I almost fell in, but Annabeth pulled me back. "Ready for weekend!" I said cheerfully. Annabeth returned my smile, and we sank into our dreams.

Again, I had to dream about Tartarus, Annabeth dying, and a number of other things, but by now I was already used to it.

Yeah, wait for next chapter? I love reviews, please review. Still, should I let pjo people reveal their over? Answer, it will effect my writing greatly.
