Chappy 4- the future. 2013

9 years have passed since that fateful day. Miku was never found. They searched for days on end with no result. It was like she had disappeared. Len and Rin were now 17 years of age, Mikuo was 27 and married to Gumi megpoid though he still missed his little sister; he tried to move on.

~Len P.O.V~ Throne room. Evening. Before dinner.

'Len! Stop daydreaming and listen you idiot!' Rin snapped at me angrily. Since Miku died, Rin was never the same, we all aren't. She is so annoying. 'Rin. By now you should have already gathered that I don't really care about getting married. So shut up and go dye your hair pink or something...just don't annoy me'.

There. That ought to shut her up. I smiled with satisfaction at her response to my witty remarks. She went red with rage, huffed angrily and stalked off to go do god knows what. Idiot Rin. Always spoiling my mood...

Groaning I stood up and walked towards my room. I passed the kitchens and walked in. I said hi to my two best friends Kaito Shion and Gakupo Kaumi. Kaito works as a servant at the palace and Gakupo is a distant cousin.

'Lennykins!' Kaito ran from the kitchen table and jumped on me excitedly. 'KAITO! Get off me! And don't call me that!' Instead of letting go, Kaito being a pain, decided to hold on tighter. Gakupo started laughing hysterically. Glaring at him in annoyance, I yelled at Gakupo to pull him off. Gakupo acting like the idiot he is; laughed harder.

After approximately ten minutes of yelling and glaring I finally managed to get the blue haired idiot off me. You see like Miku, Gakupo and Kaito have unusual hair colours. Gakupo is tall and has knee length hair dark purple hair- I know what you're thinking. It's probably along the lines of what the hell? - tied up into a samurai style pony tail. And the same purple eyes.

He is currently wearing his work uniform. It's white and longish with white pants. He carries a sword secured around his waist. (A/N- it's really hard to describe his clothes. Same with Kaito.) Yes, Gakupo is a modern day samurai if you haven't already guessed that. Gakupo has a weird fetish for eggplants.

Kaito is fairly tall like Gakupo, and has darkish blue hair cropped short with some bangs covering his face. He has the same coloured eyes as his hair. Kaito is currently wearing his uniform as well. It's a black butlers uniform. He also wears a really really long dark blue scarf which both Rin and I gave him for his 15th birthday. Kaito has a fetish for ice-cream. At least it's not eggplants like Gakupo...

'Yo Len. You finished staring off into space yet?' Gakupo inquired in amusement with a cheeky smile in his face. 'Shut up. I'm going to have a shower. Call me when dinner is ready.' I mumbled in annoyance. 'Oooh! Someone had a sock for breakfast this morning.' Kaito replied, amused at my current emotional state.

Instead of replying, I exited the kitchens and continued my journey to my room. I reached my door which had my name clearly painted onto the yellow wood , I turned the golden knob. The door made a squeaking sound as it opened. Gakupo has an eggplant fetish, for Kaito it is ice-cream, for Rin it is oranges, for Miku it was Leeks and for me it is banana's.

The room is painted banana yellow with a big four poster bed. The sheets are black and the pillows are orange and teal. With a striped orange and teal quilt and plush toys in the shape of food. There is a Leek, Orange, banana, ice-cream, and an eggplant.

There is a small black desk in the left corner of the room with books on the yellow shelf above. The books are arranged in alphabetical order from smallest to largest. The carpet is a pale yellow. On the walls were pictures of Rin, Miku and Len. Directly across from the bed is a washroom with the same color scheme as his room.

On the right side of the room is a big window filling up the wall space, with the view of the lake and forest surrounding the palace. There is a window seat with pillows and other plush toys. The ceiling is painted teal and had modern lights installed. There is an orange laundry basket near the door.

Now that I've finished the exhausting description of Len's room can we please continue with the story? Narrating this story is really tiring. Anyway…

I picked up the Leek plush toy and held it close to my chest. I miss you so much. I collapsed onto my bed and attempted to blink back the tears forming in my eyes. The tears slipped out of my eyes and onto my quilt. The sob which I tried to hold back escaped my mouth. The tears just kept on coming.

I wanted her back so much, I yearned for her. I yearned for her sweet beautiful smile, her clear teal eyes which shone with love, happiness and innocence. Her long teal hair as soft like silk. Her voice so light and airy, always bubbling with laughter and love. I loved the way her hand always found mine, sending a pleasant shock up my hand each time we touched.

I was always curious as to why her touch gave me that pleasant tingle. Now I know why…I loved her. I always have and always will. Miku Hatsune. My Life. My rock. The love of my life. The only person I love more than my family, friends and my horse, Sunny. I wish I could hold her in my arms again, I can't though. Because she is gone.

Choking back a sob, I undressed. Maybe a shower will calm my nerves… The hot water is heaven. I turned it onto full blast and proceeded to rub my hair with banana scented shampoo. She was still lingering in my mind as I turned off the shower. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't forget her. I sighed wrapped a towel around my waist and exited the washroom. Gosh. I sigh too much…

Then I grabbed some sweats and put them on. I sat on my bed and dried my wet hair. After my hair was dry I chucked the towel in the laundry basket near my door. I should probably take a nap.

DREAM STATE STILL LEN P.O.V

In my sleep I dreamed of a girl with long teal hair. She looked around 16-17. She was speaking to an older boy about 18 years of age with green hair. The teal haired girl had a standard knee length black and white maid uniform. She wore a white head dress on her head. Her teal eyes widened and she turned to face me. The girl then smiled softly at me.

I woke up gasping for air. The dream was already fading from my mind. But for the first time in years; I smiled. I felt a flicker of hope. Maybe Miku was alive. I know that this dream meant something. She is alive, and I am going to find her. I wonder who that boy is though… 'Len! it is time for dinner!' Gakupo knocked on my door noisily. 'jeez I'm coming!' I got up and walked out of my room with Gakupo.

A/N: Hello again! I am so so so so sorry for not updating this story sooner! I was busy with home and school issues. I am writing the next Chappy tonight so hopefully I can post it soon. I can't promise anything though. School starts in two days or is it one? I don't know. I won't be able to update frequently because I have to study for my yearly exams. Anyway!
