Truth
Nico and Thalia sat next to the fire, surrounded by skeletal soldiers. Thalia studied some maps as Nico threw Mrs. O'Leary some oversized dog biscuits.
"Truth or dare?" Nico asked Thalia. Thalia looked up and raised her eyebrows skeptically. "What We haven't been attacked in four hours and my soldiers will alert us if anything happens," Nico said, leaning back against a rock. "Truth or dare?"
Thalia just looked at him for a second. Nico thought she would go back to studying the maps.
"Dare," Thalia finally said.
"I dare you to relax and stop looking at those maps," Nico readily answered.
Thalia shook her head.
"That's two things."
Nico thought for a second.
"I dare you to relax," he said, smiling.
"Fine," Thalia said.
She folded up the maps and came to sit next to him. She leaned up against the rock and threw another dog biscuit to Mrs. O' Leary.
"Truth or dare?" she asked.
"Truth."
"Who was your first crush?"
Nico raised his eyebrow. "Jumping right in the. Annabeth."
"I bet he didn't like that," Thalia said.
"I don't think he ever noticed. Besides, he doesn't have to worry about that now," Nico said.
Thalia sat up a bit and looked at Nico.
"Why doesn't he have to worry anymore?" she asked.
Nico smiled mischieviously. He shook his head.
"Nope. It's my turn. Truth or dare?" he asked.
"Truth," Thalia answered readily.
"Who was your first crush?"
"Luke. Truth or dare?" she answered quickly.
"Truth."
"Why doesn't Percy had to worry anymore?"
"Because I like someone else. Truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"What was it like being a tree?"
"Wierd. Truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"Who do you like know?"
Mrs. O'Leary turned her head between them like she was watching a tennis match. She stopped and stared at Nico as he watched Thalia carefully, weighing what he was about to say.
"You."
Thalia stared at Nico in shock. Nico grew nervous as the silence wore on. Suddenly Thalia leaned forward and kissed Nico. He eyes widened in shock before he melted into the kiss. She pulled back and rested her head against Nico's chest. He wrapped his arms around her.
"I like you too, Death Breath," Thalia said sleepily.
Nico smiled as they both fell asleep.
