Thanks for the reviews! It was brought to my attention that I never explained why Annabeth said the you could say Fury sent us. Well, she said that because Fury had initially come to the Olympians and suggested that they make peace with the Norse gods, so by extension Fury could have sent them. Sorry for the confusion!

Chapter 1

On the way to Asgard, the demigods were careful not to reveal anything that could potentially damage the Olympians and/or Camp Half-Blood. Sif had returned with horses and three guys. Thor introduced the blond one as Fandral, the Chinese looking one as Hogun, and the fat guy as Volstagg. Michelle and Clarisse stayed as far apart as possible. If the gods noticed this, they didn't say anything. As they neared Asgard, the demigods gaped and stared at the gold buildings. The five gods looked amused at their reactions and led them into the largest building. They gave their horses to some servants and went into Odin's throne room. Thor and his friends knelt, while the demigods awkwardly followed their example, not knowing what to do and not knowing if they were welcome. Michelle could see in her friend's eyes that they were preparing for the worst. Odin stood and banged an important looking scepter on the golden floor. "Who are these mortals Thor?" The god rose.

"Father, they were sent here by the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D."

"Do you know their names?"

"This is their leader, Percy." Thor pointed to them in turn. "This is Annabeth, Thalia, Michelle, Nico, and Clarisse. I would ask that you would provide them with lodging and the comforts of Asgard."

"That's not necessary!" Annabeth had jumped into the conversation. "Uh, what I mean is, we can easily sleep anywhere sir." Odin gave her a small smile.

"Annabeth, the king of Asgard does not turn away guests without good reason. You shall sleep here. I shall send servants to tend to you." The demigods tried to protest that he didn't need to go to such great lengths for them, but he ignored them and dismissed them with a wave of his hand. The gods insisted upon showing the demigods their rooms. They walked through gold halls filled with more gods, guards, and servants. The demigods attracted some stares and ignored them. They soon entered a hallway that was riddled with doors. Michelle and Thalia were placed in the same apartment, while Clarisse and Nico had their own rooms. Percy and Annabeth were together. Michelle looked around her and Thalia's apartment. The main room was their living room with a couch, a coffee table, three chairs, a large bookshelf, and a rug. There were two doors on either end of the room. Michelle strode to the one on the right and opened it. It was a bedroom with a large bathroom and several small bookshelves and a fully stocked desk. A rack for armor and weapons stood by a large walnut wardrobe. Michelle dropped her bag on the bed and then looked at the books. Thalia opened the door and peeked in.

"Whoa," she said. "My rooms nearly identical." Michelle grinned.

"I might not go back to Olympus, this place is so nice!" she said.

"I think so too. Hey, did you see the clothes?" Michelle shook her head. "Look at them!" She strode over to the wardrobe and opened it. Dresses and jewelry and crazy elegant girl stuff was in there. Michelle wrinkled her nose.

"Ugh. Dresses."

"Same. What're we gonna do?" They thought for a minute, and then Thalia grinned. "What about Sif? I bet she's had to deal with this before!"

"Where'd we find her? And wouldn't we be acting rudely? We're supposed to make a good impression right?" Michelle asked. Thalia was about to answer when a voice came from the door.

"I wouldn't consider it rude to ask that." Thalia and Michelle spun and saw Sif standing the doorway. The goddess walked into the room and to the wardrobe. "I should think that you would want to wear a dress. It's the Harvest Celebration tonight and there will be much dancing and drinking." Michelle nodded, seeing the wisdom in that advice. Thalia still needed some convincing. Sif and Michelle tried to cajole her to wear a dress for at least a half hour. Thalia finally consented only to spend the next fifteen minutes arguing to a handmaid about which dress to wear. Michelle smiled as she listened to the shouting from across the room. She had donned a light green, one sleeved dress and had a bracelet on her upper arm that was twisted like a vine of ivy. Her hair was taking forever to do because it was so long and thick. She had put in post earrings made of green coral and had brought and put on a gold necklace that had a pendant in the shape of a circular tangle of leafy ivy. She still had her bracelet that her daggers came out of.

…Michelle's P.O.V.

I walked out of my room, feeling elegant and uncomfortable at the same time. Most of my hair was in a bun, but I had had Heather leave it so that the loose part came to a little below my chin. Thalia came out of her room almost at the same time.

"Why do you have to make looking elegant so easy?" she asked me, walking to the door and opening it. I followed her, taking the light gold cape trimmed with fur that Heather handed to me.

"It ain't easy," I muttered. Thalia and I joined Nico, who was also waiting. Clarisse came out in an armored dress with a dagger hanging from her belt. We stood as far away from each other as possible. Finally, Percy and Annabeth approached, arm-in-arm. The two boys were dressed in casual Asgardian clothes, but wore bracers and greaves with swords hanging from their belts. We began to walk down the hallway, trying to follow the directions Thor had given us for the dining hall. After twenty minutes of wandering around, we finally found it. Volstagg and Fandral showed us our seats and we all sat. Odin rose and everyone fell silent. He proclaimed something in an unknown language and the food was placed on the tables. There were huge boars, pheasants, huge plates of beef, large bowls of fruit, bread, cheese, and basically everything one could want. Odin said something else and then sat. Everyone began to pass the things around. Soon our plates were filled and we were eating. It was delicious. When we finished eating, our group of demigods followed everyone outside to a large center or something that had shops, stalls, and jewelers. A band of musicians that I couldn't see struck up a tune and everyone looked for partners. Nico turned to me.

"May I have this dance, m'lady?" I laughed and accepted. As we waltzed across the square, he asked, "So how does this feel?"

"It's not that different from, you know where, except that there's so much more elegance and the gods are..." I glanced around to make sure that one of the Olympians was there in disguise, "a lot more friendly. What'll we do while we're here?"

"Make peace like our parents suggested. And whatever Fury wanted us to do."

"Ah. What do you think of being here?" Nico shrugged in response.

"I'm as accepted here as I'll ever be anywhere else. Once they find out however, I'll once again be an outcast."

"You're still welcome back at camp, you know."

"I'm not welcome anywhere. Michelle, I'm a child of Death, literally. People shove me away. I'll never fit in." I was about to argue when I caught sight of something behind Nico.

"Nico, turn around." He spun me around and caught sight of what I was looking at. His eyes widened.

"Michelle, are you seriously going to try to meet him?"

"Yes."

"Holler if you need help." I smirked and poked him in the chest.

"I think I'll be good," I said and walked away towards the raven haired man I had seen.

R&R please?
