Okay. Quick note before you start the chapter. First, sorry for the wait. School has started and between AP classes, band and FFA, it has been getting quite busy. Unfortunately, I will not be able to write as often as I would like, but I will do my best to keep the wait between chapters as short as possible. So, shout out to all of the people still in school. Good luck in the upcoming school year. Anyway, hope you like this chapter.
SUIT
"Why?" Nico called from closet. "Why do I have to wear a suit?"
"Because," Thalia responded from her place on Nico's bed. "You are one of Percy's groomsmen. You have to be presentable."
"But I hate wearing a suit," Nico whined as he walked out of his closet and into the main room of his cabin.
He stood and sulked right in the doorway. His seaweed green tie was untied and hanging loosely around his neck. His shoes were untied. His shirt was half untucked and slightly rumpled. His suit jacket was nowhere in sight.
"You're a mess," Thalia noted, getting up and walking over to him.
"I don't want to wear the suit," Nico grumbled.
"But you're going to wear the suit because Percy and Annabeth are your friends and you have to presentable at their wedding. Now tuck in your shirt please."
Nico glared at Thalia. Thalia glared right back. Finally Nico looked down and started to tuck his shirt in.
"Fine," he growled.
Thalia smiled and walked around him into the closet as he started to tie his shoelaces. She came back just as he finished. She helped him into his jacket and then tied his tie for him.
"See. That wasn't so bad," Thalia said as if talking to an eight year old.
"I hate wearing suits," Nico muttered.
Thalia leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek.
"I'll help you get out of it after the reception," Thalia replied, smirking.
Nico raised an eyebrow and smirked back.
"I hold you to that," he said, watching her as she walked out the door of his cabin.
