I wake up with my around Mitchie in a spooning position. Thoughts of last night flood my mind and let me tell you Mitchie's one hell of a woman.
I hold her a little tighter and kiss her head. I feel her body shift against me and i love this feeling. She grabs my arm, she's awake. She turns in my arms so we're face to face.
"Hi," She says in a soft sleepy voice.
"Morning," I say back and i know i'm smiling like an idiot.
She snuggles against my chest and i hold her. This honestly the best way to start any morning.
She looks up at me and sighs, "I should probably get home before Mason does." I don't want her to leave.
"When can i see you next?" i ask, silently begging her to stay.
She's up getting dressed. When she puts on her last article of clothing she gives me a peck on the lips and says, "Come hang out with Mason, you can sneak away for a bit." she winks at me and walks out of the room.
I lay there thinking about Mitchie. I know this thing with her could break me, but i don't mind taking the chance.
For the next week i spend everyday at Mason's and i go meet up with Mitchie every chance i get, whether it's a quick make out session or something more.
It was all going so well until today, I'm pulling up my pants as Mitchie's lying on her bed. After i'm fully dressed i go to give her a kiss but she stops me by saying, "move over by my dad for me." i'm completely frozen.
"What?" I ask in a chuckle.
She stands up so we're eye to eye and puts her hands on my shoulders while she elaborates, "Come on Alex, we can be together all the time."
I'm glad i left mason while he's on the phone with Caitlin because this is going to take a while.
"Mitchie, i can't just up and leave," i express while taking a step back.
"why not?" she asks folding her arms across her chest.
I start pacing, "I have a job here and my mom."
She gives a snide chuckle, "You never even see your mom."
That kind of stings. "She's my mom, i still love her. What if i move out there and things don't work out, Mitch?" i am honestly curious for her explanation for this.
"What am i just some summer fling that you'll fuck until i go back. Someone to keep your mind busy so you can look back and say 'that was fun?'" She's almost crying now.
I've never thought of her like that. She's so much more to me, but before i can even explain myself she throws a pillow at my face and almost screams, "Fuck you Alex, Get out!"
I don't fight with her any more. I turn around and leave. What am i supposed to do?
I go down to Mason and he's off the phone. He looks like he's about to either punch a wall or cry his eyes out. Shit did he hear mine and Mitchie's fight? If he punches me in the face i won't blame him. I'm about ready to punch myself in the face.
