A monster's tears
Just like you, I breathe.
I am a monster, and yet I feel,
I hurt and I bleed.
I have nightmares and I scream,
Hunted, I know no peace
For this life I was given
Has been damned since the day I was born.
Yet I struggle to go on,
I fight because just like you
I want to live.
Striving against the world,
Unwanted, I am punished
For crimes I did not commit
What I am is not my fault.
Yet I know love,
For the people that you killed
And the ones that I hurt.
Thus I know pain,
Blinded, red drops drip down
I let them fall on the snow
Sinking deep inside pure white.
