Stopping outside the stables of the new Scout headquarters Levi untied the rope that he used to make sure that Eren did not fall off during the lengthy ride. Holding the toddler close in one arm, the short man climbed off his dark colored horse. Setting little Eren down in front of him the toddler clinged to his leg as the raven hair got the bags. Having all the bags he looked down to the brunette who looked up to him and smiled widely.

"Who is the kid? " Asked a blonde haired man as he walked over. The rwven hair immediately recognized the man as his superior.

"His name is Eren." Levi said plainly, watching the toddler as he moved to hide behind his legs. He looked up to his superior, "I've adopted him."

Erwin nodded, "I see that. Though I am happy for you.. He can't stay here." He said firmly.

The raven hair growled, "So you want me to leave him on the same streets I rescued him from?" He did not give his superior officer the chance to respond, "No he is staying with me. Eren will not get in my way." He picked the toddler up who buried his face into the man's shoulder, "He stays." Levi walked into the building. Hanji following close behind.

Running to catch up to the short man she smiled sweetly as Eren reached out for her. Seeing that the toddler wanted her to hold him, Levi reluctantly handed him over to Hanji. The woman took the child and tickled his nose, "I saw you and Erwin. You did make a good point." She blushed lightly as she spoke, "I do not see why Erwin won't take your side and let Eren stay."

Stepping into his private quarters, one of the perks of being an officer, Levi closed the door behind them as Hanji let the toddler down so he could explore the new environment. Eren toddled around as Levi and Hanji continued to talk, "I don't know Hanji. I believe it is against the policies for a soldier to be raising a child and going beyond the walls."

The woman smiled softly, "True but you will be able to raise Eren and do your job. Besides I will be here to help you " The brunette woman said with a wide smile.

Levi walked over to the sofa and set the bags he was carrying down. He glanced over to the toddler as he got out the child's stuffed animals. Hanji walked over and started helping putting Eren's things away in the bedroom thatwas connected to what is Levi's office, "Well the bed is big enough for the both of you."

"I am sure the bed is big enough for three.. Erm.. Well if there had to be three to a bed." The lieutenant shook his head as he mentally kicked himself. Why did I just say that? The man blushed lightly, which darkened as he saw the woman walk into the room, "Yes I just said that." It was better to admit it since she heard his say what he said.

"Don't worry about it. My room is right across the hallway." She was going to walk past so she could go to her room to get her belongings put away when the shorter man pulled her over. A blush appeared onapn her cheeks when she realized that the raven hair was firmly pressing his lips to hers.

Pulling away Levi cleared his throat, "Thank you for what you have done so far." The man looked to the toddler as Eren gazed out the window to the people below. How the kid managed to climb onto the chair the man had no idea, "You have been more of a mother than that woman in the streets was being to him."

Hanji smiled, "Well he deserves it. I will see you two in a moment." She said before quickl6 slipping out of the room.
