Hanji walked into the bedroom to find Eren sitting up in his bed, "What's wrong little one?" She asked softly as she picked the toddler up as he held his arms out. The boy clings to her shirt as he buried his face into her chest, "I guess it was another bad dream." Hanji walked out to where Levi was now sitting where just a moment before they were making certain moves, "He was having a bad dream."

Levi looked from her to the child, "I wonder why he has so many bad dreams." The raven hair wondered as Hanji sat down next to him, careful not to startle the already frightened toddler.

Hanji shrugged, setting the boy down as he started to want to sit between them, resting his head on Hanji's lap as he sucked on his thumb, "I don't know. It could be why he was orphaned in the first place." She said quietly, running her hand through Eren's hair.

Hearing a knock on the door, Levi got up and quietly walked over. Upon opening it the uniformed man saluted the Raven hair before speaking, "Sir the Commanders want to speak to you."

Levi nodded, "Very well. I will be right over." He said before closing the door. Walking back to the coach the man picked up his coat, "Must be about Eren." Levi said with a huff, "But then it might not be."

Hanji kept her hand in Eren's hair, since it appeared to be helping him stay calm, "Never know. But try to convince them that you can take care of him and carry out your duties. Besides. There is no one else on the Scouts who I think is better suited than you."

Levi smirked, "Are you just saying that because we are dating?" He walked the two steps over and ran his hand through the child's hair, "Keep him safe." He said quietly, "I will be back soon." He then walked out of the room.

Looking from the door to Eren she smiled warmly as the toddler sat up, "Feeling better?" She asked as she fixed the boy's hair a little.

"Play?" Eren asked looking up at her.

"What do you want to play Eren?" Hanji asked, setting the toddler on the floor as well as sitting herself down on the floor as well.

Eren covered his eyes and then uncovered them saying a loud, "Boo!" At her with a giggle.

"How about hide and seek?" Hanji asked, then watched as Eren got up and toddler over to a hiding spot, "I guess that is a yes." The woman said with a laugh, "Alright Eren. Ready or not here I come." She said as she quietly started to look for Eren who surprisingly hid himself well, "Where did he go? Did Eren disappear? " She asked moving to look under the desk, "Got ya!" But found he was not there. She looked at the spot dumbfounded since she clearly saw him go under the desk.

She heard the toddler yell, "Boo!" Before grabbing onto her, snuggling her leg.

"Oh there you are." She said with a laugh, then watched Eren toddler off again. Chuckling Hanji started to look for Eren once again, this time she could clearly see he was hiding in the window curtain as she moved around, "I think I am getting warmer!" She said before sneaking into where Eren was hiding, "Found you!" Eren squealed as Hanji picked up with one arm and tickled him with her free hand, "Want to play some more?"

Eren grabbed her hand and pushed it away, "Yeah!" He said looking up at her before plucking her glasses from her face and putting them to his mumbling something quietly.

"Well then. Go and hide Eren." She,said softly as Hanji took her glasses back. Quickly cleaning them off as the toddler went to look for a new place to hide. This time the child went to hide in the bedroom under the bed. Putting her glasses back on Hanji proceeded to find Eren when she saw Levi coming into the room.

"Where is Eren?" Levi asked as he looked around, he was expecting the toddler to be in plain view when he got back since the child was acting a bit tired, "Is he in bed or did someone come and take him?"

Hanji shook her head, "Neither. We are playing hide and seek Levi."

"I see." Levi simply said looking around for the toddler.

Hanji huffed lightly before walking off to find the child when Eren grabbed a hold of Levi's legs, "Boo!"

Levi looked down at the child and ruffled his hair gently, "Oh no you got me." He said sitting down first before proceeding to lay on the very clean floor. Hanji sat down next to the two boys as Eren proceeded to climb on top of the raven hair. The woman had no idea that Levi would be a playful person since he always seemed to be the serious one in the room. Watching Eren and Levi interact was truly heart warming.

Eren grabbed at Levi's nose giggling which went to a laugh when Levi moved his face away just for the toddler to move further up the man's chest to grab at it as Levi moved his face. Wanting to get back at the boy he blew a raspberry into the toddler's belly, causing Eren to squeal and laugh. Hanji reached over and picked the boy up, tickling his tummy to occupy the toddler as the raven hair sat up. Levi gently ruffled the boy's hair as he started to stand up, earning a somewhat tired giggle from Eren. The man picked the boy up and set him down on the sofa, almost immediately the child was asleep.

Hanji smiled softly, "I am going to go and get my work done. I will see you later Levi." She said as she walked out of the room. The man stood there for a moment, then looked to the sleeping boy before walking over to his desk and got to work.
