Hey guys sorry for the late post got a little stuck for a second on what to do. Well I hope you enjoy the revelations. Let me know what you think. Love hearing from you guys.
Recap: "You don't understand how much this night has meant to me. You are an amazing man that deserves someone that will stand by you and love you. I am so sorry for the things that I have done to you. You deserve the truth and I need to tell you before bad things start happening. I don't want to do this again and you are the only person that can help me. Please believe me when I thought that this was the best way to fix this." She looked up at him.
"Would you like to take this conversation somewhere else?" He asked.
"Yes that would be for the best." She spoke as they walked out of the building.
The drive was silent as the driver began to take them back to the manor. Yoruichi realized where they were going and she panicked.
"We can't go to the manor. It has been compromised. Aizen has informants in your home. One of the reasons I was not able to talk to you truthfully." Yoruichi whispered to Byakuya.
His face turned in to anger and disbelief. He looked to the driver and instructed him to pullover. Byakuya stepped out of the limo and gestured for Yoruichi to follow him. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and dialed a number.
"Tetsuya, I need you to check everyone in my manor. I have reason to believe that Aizen's reach has stretched to my manor. I will contact you again in an hour my location to come and get me. I have something to do." He spoke as he began to walk with Yoruichi following closely beside him.
They walked in silence. Yoruichi wasn't sure what to do or say until she could smell it. The smell of the sea. She felt the breeze and could smell the faint smell of salt. She looked up at Byakuya and saw the look of determination on his face. She really hoped he would believe her and help her. She was so tired of running and being alone. She wanted her family and she refused to leave this time. She refused to run away and hide. Byakuya wasn't in the best of moods anymore. To know that his home had been infiltrated by snakes. He felt bad about using that analogy. That was giving snakes a bad name and he liked snakes. He had a feeling that tonight was going to be very stressful. He just wanted a peaceful night to enjoy her presence. He looked over to her and smiled slightly at the small amount of light in her eyes. He really hoped what she had to say would give him a reason to trust her again. A reason to be able to hold her at night. He hadn't been able to be with anyone after her. She was like ambrosia and every girl he tried to be with was like ashes on his tongue. He held her close when he saw her shiver from the cold. He figured the one place to have a conversation like she wanted would be his small house boat. They walked along the docks after signing out the boat. He helped her onboard as he followed behind her. He removed his suit jacket and started up the boat. As he slowly pulled out of the bay Yoruichi was looking down at her hands. She was contemplating how to tell him everything he deserved to hear so many years ago. Yoruichi felt her heart sink as she realized that she had to tell him even more about the lies she had told him. She had to bury herself deeper in order to get out of her own grave. She looked up at him as he took them further from the mayhem of the world she had brought him in to. She felt the boat slow to a stop as Byakuya came to sit in front of her.
"Is this better?" He looked at her hands and then back up to her already watering eyes.
"Yes. Before I start, I want you to know that I thought that this was the best way to fix things at the time. I know I should have gone to you when this all started, but fear over turned my better judgement. I love you so much that not even words can explain what I feel for you. I ask that you let me finish everything I have to say before you get angry." Her voice began to tremble as she looked down letting some of her tears fall.
'I will keep quiet until you have voiced that you are done talking." He sat up and looked at her worriedly.
"I was offered the job of getting in to your home and stealing important information for as Aizen. At the beginning it was a normal job. Get in, entice, and get out. Before I could even realize what was happening I fell in love with you. I ended up prolonging my contract for three years. Toward the end of the last year I grew sick. I didn't tell you because I saw how you were working to get the kinks worked out in you deals. So, I went to the doctor during one of your meetings. What I was unaware of was that the doctor I went to see was in Aizen's pocket. When he told me I was pregnant I got excited. He told me to sit tight while he got somethings together. I had made up my mind a while before to not go through with this contract, but that was what sealed the deal. Unfortunately, the doctor contacted Aizen about my situation and before I could even leave the building Aizen was there to take me away. I was told to call you and tell you that I had some work to take care of and wouldn't be back for a couple of months. In those months I was held captive by Aizen. He kept me there until I gave birth. He took my son as soon as he was born and left me alone in the room. What I was not expecting was the feeling to keep pushing. I gave birth to a girl. I didn't want Aizen to take her and since he figured he got what he wanted he left me enough time to find someone to watch over her for me. I contacted Soi-Fon about everything and she took her to keep her safe. I was able to visit my son often up until I got here. I am not allowed to have any contact until I return with the files of your future deals and clients. I don't want to do this. I just want my son," Yoruichi looked up at Byaukya's shocked face," Our son." She sighed.
Byakuya just looked at her. For the first time in his life he was stumped. He didn't see any of that coming out of her mouth as to why she did what she did. He couldn't stop staring at her. She had his children. He had children that he hasn't seen in almost four years. She loved him enough to try to stop this years ago. Aizen has his son as a prisoner. He stood up pulled her in to his arms and held her. He couldn't think of anything else to do. He wanted to scream, and cry, and smile, and kiss her. He pulled away and kissed her softly on her lips before going back to take the boat back to the docks. Once they reached the docks Byakuya called Tetsuya.
"Come pick me up from the docks. There are some things that need to be taken care of. Be as fast as you can." He spoke before hanging up the phone.
"Byakuya?" Yoruichi looked over at him curiously.
"I am going to get our son back. You are going to go to the manor and explain everything to everyone. You are going to bring our daughter to the manor and after I have retrieved our son. We will sit down and talk about everything. I do not feel the need to waste time on talking when our son is in the hands of a man capable of many things, murder included." Byakuya spoke all too calmly as a black car began to drive up.
They both got in to the car and sat silently next to each other. Tetsuya looked in the review mirror catching the determined look on Byakuya's face. He sighed as he continued to drive back to the manor. Byakuya wrapped his arm around Yoruichi's shoulder and she leaned in to him and inhaled the deep scent of sakura. She closed her eyes and smiled. She finally felt a sense of hope. Of getting the man she loved back, of finally having a family she called her own, of finally holding her son, of finally being held at night by the one man that made her want to be different. He rubbed her arm as he laid his head on top of hers and sighed. He needed to get his son and then he would be able to think straight. They pulled up to the manor and Tetsuya followed in behind Byakuya and Yoruichi. Everyone was sitting in the living room waiting on the two to return.
"Yoruichi you need to talk to them about everything that you told me earlier. Tetsuya, I need you to come with me. We have something that needs to be taken care of immediately." Byakuya spoke as he headed to his office with Tetsuya behind him.
"I must tell you. If this is about what I think it is. I have already located the boy. Yoruichi told me not long ago about your children. I promised to give her time to tell you, for it was not my place to say it. With your word I will go after the boy. I just need Aizen occupied with something other than the boy." Tetsuya looked at Byakuya.
"I will handle him. Go get my son." Byakuya spoke as he went behind his desk, sat in his chair, and calmed his nerves.
He looked at the phone and knew what he needed to do. He couldn't believe what was happening. He wished he had known and could have kept his children with him. He honestly feels as if his children will hate him after not being there. He sat up and began to dial the numbers he never wanted to dial on any of his phones.
"Ah, Byakuya what a lovely surprise. What can I do for you this evening?" Aizen's voice rang loudly over the phone.
"I wish to meet tonight to discuss some things." Byakuya tried to keep things short.
"Why can't this wait until the morning?" Aizen smirked on his end of the phone.
"I refuse to do anything else on your terms. We meet tonight and have a talk or we do not talk at all about anything." Byakuya spoke as he tried to get Aizen to bait in to his trap.
"Alright Byakuya. Where would you like to meet?" Aizen spoke quickly.
"Birton's coffee shop. I will be there in ten minutes. I advise you be there in five." Byakuya spoke before hanging up.
Byakuya walked out of his office. He looked down at his shaking hands and took a deep breath. He walked to the living room and saw Rukia holding Yoruichi and Soi Fon on her way out the door.
"Tetsuya, I am leaving. I will give you as much time as I can." Byakuya began to put his coat on.
"Where are you going?" Yoruichi stood looking at him.
"I won't be long. Stay here." Byakuya spook blankly as he rushed out of the house.
Yoruichi was surprised by the emotionless response she received. She walked to her room trying to sort out what had just happened. She thought she might have fixed his feelings toward her just a little bit. She understood it would take time before he could fully trust her. If he even wanted her. Did he still want her? Yoruichi fell on the bed and looked up at the ceiling trying to keep herself from over thinking. Her eyes began to water as she heard the door to her room open slightly.
"Yoruichi, can I come in?" Rukia spoke softly.
"Yeah sure." Yoruichi sat up and looked at Rukia as she crossed the room and sat on the edge of the bed.
"I wanted to come and apologize. I was just so angry and I didn't even think that there had to be a reason." She spoke.
"Don't be sorry. I deserved it. In the beginning I was planning on going through with what I was being paid to do. There is no excuse for what I did. I would rather work to earn your forgiveness than to have you apologizing to me. I wish I could somehow tale the pain away from all of you, but I can't." Yoruichi smiled as she held on to Rukia's hand.
"He still loves you. He just isn't the same man he was before. He is the person they portrayed him to be back then. He is more like that now than he was then. I can't wait to meet your twins." Rukia spoke trying to change the subject.
Yoruichi smiled and before she could speak her phone rang in her pocket. She smiled at Rukia before picking it up.
"Hello." She spoke.
"I wanted to apologize for being so forward with you earlier. I am not sure how I feel right now and I don't know how to act around you." Byakuya's smooth voice soothing Yoruichi's fears as soon as he spoke.
"I understand." She smiled faintly.
"I must go but when I return and after I have meet my children we will need to talk about a lot of things." Byakuya sighed.
"I know we will." She sighed as well.
"I must go. I will talk to you later." Byakuya spoke as he hung up his phone.
He placed his phone back in his pocket as he looked up to see Aizen walking in to the building.
"I do not appreciate having to wait after I explained to you that this was not in your terms." Byakuya stood to his full height.
"I do apologize. I had a few things to take care of before leaving my estate." Aizen shook Byakuya's hand before they both sat down.
"I am here to talk to you about your proposal and some other things that concern me." Byakuya sat silently as Aizen reached to grab the forms.
Byakuya didn't reach for the bag sitting next to him causing Aizen to look at him with confusion written across his face. Aizen leaned back in his chair and looked at Byakuya waiting for him to say something.
"You know; you never took me seriously enough as a competitor in the business." Aizen smirked as he shook his head.
"You aren't a competitor. You are a selfish, spoiled, manipulative brat. That gets on everyone's nerves especially your own. I have never had respect for the way you decided to do business and I never will. Your proposal his less then subpar. I am sure a child could come up with the terms you have. It just shows you your need to control everything. I am tired of trying to be polite with you. You will never have my business. I know that you hired Yoruichi again to try to steal my new information. I also know you took my son and kept him captive for your own selfish needs. If I could I would kill you." Byakuya spoke through clenched teeth.
"You couldn't hurt a fly my dear Byakuya. You have more to worry about with me. I am your better and you will recognize that I am like God. You don't know true business savvy Byakuya and you never will." Aizen spoke as the anger began to fester in his voice.
"You are nothing but a child with power. The reason you have to steal my clients is because no in this industry takes you even the slightest bit serious. You can't do your own work and have to look big and bad so people will respect you." Byakuya spoke calmly after he took a small sip from the coffee that sat in front of him.
"It doesn't matter what you think. Your business is over. Your life is over and when it is all said and done I will own everything you ever put your hands on." Aizen stood with rage in his eyes.
"I knew you were a child. Standing in front of me having a tantrum. Would you like me to leave you alone for a while for you to take your nap?" Byakuya smirked around his coffee cup.
"I don't have to prove myself to someone like you. You are nothing but vermin in my way of success." Aizen spoke sternly.
"You think you have everything under control. I know about my son. I know that you forced Yoruichi to continue with your contract even after she expressed to you she didn't want anything to do with you. I know you told her you would kill me if she told me. I also found the men you sent to my house to ensure she kept her mouth shut. I called you here to give my most loyal time to retrieve my son. So, you see you have nothing to bargain with. I will not be accepting your offer in this life or the next. I will be keeping my list of new clients to myself and all my new financial data. Your business will plummet and I want you to be around to see it." Byakuya sat his cup down.
Aizen stepped back and looked around. He walked over to Byakuya with a smirk on his face. He leaned forward over Byakuya's shoulder.
"You have no idea how wrong you are. I prior plan my dear Byakuya." He chuckled as he reached in his suit pocket.
Byakuya went to stand but felt a prick in his neck. He felt the liquid in the needle run slowly through his body.
"Never underestimate me and what I am capable of. I knew that horny slut of yours wouldn't be able to keep her mouth shut. I will say that I never knew your man was following me until I got the text that the boy was gone. When you die I have very few competitors that worry me and trust me you will die. I hope you told someone of your whereabouts. Enjoy the coffee it's on me." Aizen laughed as he left the building.
Byakuya tried to pull his phone out but felt his eyes hazing over. He just needed to get home. He stood and held on to the table before he felt stable enough to walk out of the café. He figured he would walk. He looked back and forth before his foggy mind could figure out which direction was home. As he walked he could feel his legs wanting to give, but he wouldn't let it. He made it a few blocks before having to rest feeling his heart fluttering in his chest. He leaned against the wall and took a deep breath which caused a five-minute coughing fest. He finally regained himself longing enough to walk some more.
"Need…. family..." Byakuya mumbled as he shuffled forward.
He could see the lights and the gate to his home. His mouth was drying out and he was sweating harder than he ever has. He made it to the gate and leaned against it. He gripped the gate until his knuckles turned red. His legs were no longer listening as he slowly began to slide to the ground. He could hear his name beginning screamed as he heard the shuffling of feet. He could hear instructions being screamed. He felt his body being lifted from the ground. Soon he felt the soft couch on his back. He could still hear and was pissed he couldn't respond.
"I am going to call an ambulance." He heard what he was sure was his sister.
"Is that daddy?" He heard and wanted to cry and hold them
"Yes dear this is you real father." That was the last thing he
heard before he fully blacks out.
Yoruichi held on to Byakuya's hand until the paramedics showed. She looked around as they loaded him in to the ambulance.
"We will bring them up to the hospital. We'll follow while you ride with Byakuya." Rukia pat her back, kissed her children's head, and got in the back in the back of the ambulance.
She watched as they tried to stabilize him. She felt her heart fall. This was her fault. He could always think clearly when she wasn't involved. She began to cry as she felt the ambulance slow to a stop. She followed them in to the emergency room.
"We are going to need you to wait out here." The nurses spoke.
"No. I won't be standing out her fiddling with my damn thumbs." Yoruichi went to step forward.
"Look, I know how you feel, but you are only slowing down the process arguing with me." The lady looked at her with concern.
Yoruichi nodded and sat in a chair with her face in her hands.
"This was not the way this was supposed to go for him." Yoruichi spoke to herself.
As she looked around she saw Rukia and the other walk in. They came and sat with her as she explained that they haven't come out yet.
"Well, are you going to introduce us to the little buggers." Kenpachi spoke.
"Right, sorry. This is Yakuri and Sen. Sen and Yakuri these are your uncles and aunts I told you about." Yoruichi watched as her soon gave Kenpachi a vicious stare down and Yakuri played in Orihime's hair.
"How is he holding up?" A deep voice spoke from behind them as they were laughing at the children
"You need to get the fuck out before I give the doctors a reason to restructure your face shit bag." Kenpachi stood in between Aizen and the others.
"Calm your nerves and tend to your man toy. I am here to make sure Byakuya is doing alright." Aizen smiled.
"You are the reason he is in here so how about you leave before I let Kenpachi show you out." Yoruichi stepped in his face.
"I only wish to help." He smiled.
"Get out. I will deal with you when this is all over. I have so much for you to pay for." She turned and sat with both her children in her arms.
"Alright, I can tell when I am not welcome." He chuckled as he walked off.
They heard the doors to the room Byakuya was in open and they turned around to see the doctor standing in the door way.
"What is happening?" Yoruichi asked as she stepped closer.
"We have him in an induced coma and he his stable for now, but the toxins introduced to his blood stream is very potent. We identified some of them, but there are so many it will take time that I don't think Mr. Kuchiki has to spare. Hopefully the induced coma will help slow his blood flow and the toxins to give us time to evaluate them. He is strong, but he needs all the support he can get. You may see him, but I must advise that only blood family stay the night." The doctor walked away as he went behind the counter to fill out charts.
They all looked at each other as they walked slowly to the room the doctor had pointed out to them. Yoruichi put her hand to the door and just looked at the knob. Her hand began to shake as she tried to open the door. She felt a tug on her pant and she looked down to see her son.
"I thought we were going in to see daddy." Sen spoke as Yoruichi smiled and pushed the door open.
Her breath caught in her chest as he saw the man she had vowed to try to protect laying in a hospital bed attached to so many machines. She stepped in slowly as everyone followed in behind her. No one had words and just stood looking for a sign that Byakuya would magically wake up.
"Yoruichi, call us if you need anything. We won't be far." Renji walked around the bed to give her and the children a hug.
Yoruichi didn't even notice people leaving as she stared at his face. She didn't feel the tears from her eyes sliding down her cheek. She reached out to run her fingers through his hair and let out a sob when it felt dry and tangled. She went in to her purse pulled out her comb and began to comb the ends of his hair. Rukia watched her sighed as she walked over to her to gain her attention.
"Do you want me to take the twins?" Rukia asked.
"No, I think he would like to see them when he wakes up." She stopped combing and sat in the chair across from the bed.
"Alright. Well, I will be back in the morning to check up on you." She spoke a Yoruichi watched her leave.
"Will he get better mommy?" Yakuri spoke as she crawled in to Yoruichi's lap.
"He is strong and more than anything he wants to meet you two. I think he is going to be okay. It's going to take some time but he will come around." Yoruichi held her close as sen sat in the chair next to her.
They all began to drift in to sleep watching Byakuya while he slept.
