They had been waiting for three hours, three hours to know if he was okay. Heck, to know if Grant even lived through the accident. He did.
Finally a doctor exited Grant's room, now approaching the group.
"You're friends going to be alright. Just a minor ankle sprain, he shouldn't put too much
pressure on it. But he's lucky to be alive, especially at the speed the driver had driven at." He explained. The doctor, ran a hand through his hair and smiled. "You can go in and see him if you like, but please only two at a time."
Cammie looked over at Macey, "you go."
Macey nodded and with the company of Jonas, they both walked in, leaving Cammie and Zach alone.

"I'm so glad he's okay." Cammie breathed out, looking down as she toyed with Zach's hand, interlocking her fingers with his.
"So am I, I'm just glad everyone's okay now, and you and Macey made up." He smiled softly at her, leaning forward and kissing her on the cheek.
Anyone passing would think this is some kind of cheap clichéd movie scene, but they didn't care.

"I have some news.." Cammie began.
"Go on." He urged.
"I'm moving." She looked up once she'd said that to see his face showing no emotion whatsoever. Completely blank.
"You're-" He cut himself off, simply clearing his throat and nodding. "When?"
"After graduation."
"Okay."

Was he really okay with this? Cammie reached out to him, but he leaned away.
"Zach, talk to me."
"And say what?" He asked.
"I'm no happier about this than you are."
"Then don't go. Don't leave me."
Cammie reached out for him again, this time he didn't pull away. She placed her hand over the side of his face, stroking her fingers over his hair lightly.
"Don't see it that way, Zach. Please."
He frowned. "I have no other way to see it. You're leaving me that's all there is to it."
"We can visit each other and talk on Skype, text, phone call."
"So it'll all be long distance after graduation? I can't do that Cam. I can not see you all the time, not walk you to school everyone, not be there when you're down or
you're stressed because of some insignificant test. I can't stand only being able to see a few times every few months, I want to be with you Cam and not only part-time."
"You don't think I want that?"
"I know you do. But I don't see how this is going to work when you're gone."
"You know what. I know what to do. Why don't we just pretend I never said anything and just cross this bridge when we come to it?" She suggested.
"Fine."
"Great."
Zach paused for a second, then pulled her into his arms and kissed the top of her head. "You do know I love you, right?"
"I love you too, Zach." She muttered back into his chest.

That night Cammie stayed with Zach since her mom wasn't going to get home until late and she preferred not to be home alone. Grant was going to be discharged in the
morning and everyone seemed to be heading in a fairly positive direction for once again.

Zach and Cammie were sat back together on the couch watching Titanic, Craig was out with some friends so naturally they were happily home alone.

"This is the longest movie I've ever seen, how can you watch the whole thing in one go? I'd need to take a break in-between." Zach scoffed.
"How can you not like Titanic?"
"Well its super mushy and everything the characters do, you'd never do if you were in that situation."
"How would you not?"
"Your telling me that you would get back on the ship if you were on a life boat?"
"If you couldn't get on it then yes." She replied seriously.
Zach's eyes softened.
"Would you not get off the life boat, Zach?" Cammie asked.
"For you, I'd jump in the fucking water and swim after you in that life boat."
"Aw Zach, but that water is freezing."
"I don't care, if I'd be closer to you I'd swim after it, after all if I was in the water then got in the lifeboat they can't exactly throw me off it, they'd basically be sending-"
Cammie cut him off by placing her mouth on his, kissing him slowly. She pulled back for a moment, "just ssh." She then took hold of his cheek, pulling him in again.

Zach laced his fingers through her hair as they kissed, then wrapped his arms around her, easing her back to lie on the couch, hovering over her. He detached his lips from hers, kissing down her neck. His hands roamed under her t-shirt, causing goosebumps to rise at his touch along the small of her back. He tugged gently on her t-shirt, asking
her for permission.

"Shouldn't we go upstairs? Won't Craig come back?" She breathed out.
Zach nodded and pulled her legs to wrap around his waist, lifting her up off the couch with him and carried her upstairs towards his room.
Cammie began kissing him once again as he fiddled around for his door knob, then finally he found it and burst into his room. He shut the door behind them, turning and leaning Cammie against the door. He pulled away for a short few seconds, pulling her t-shirt over her head then his lips met hers once again as he chucked the t-shirt somewhere behind him.

Cammie ran her hands down his chest, earning a groan from him. She pulled the bottom of his shirt to reveal his tanned stomach, pulling it over his head she sent it flying in a random direction in his room, along with hers.

Zach turned again, this time towards his bed, where he laid her down and leaned over her, placing a sweet kiss on her jaw.

Cammie woke up to Zach drawing light, soothing patterns over her bare back. She looked up at him to see him looking out his window, the light from the sun shining through
brought out the brighter shades of green in his eyes. "Morning beautiful." He muttered out of nowhere. She smiled.

"Morning." She relaxed her head back on his chest as his fingers continued to sketch invisible patterns on her back. She closed her eyes, then reopened them.
"Can we just stayed like this forever." She whispered.

"Gladly." He agreed.

"I wonder how Grant's doing."

"I'm sure he's fine, he's being discharged later."

"Lucky it's a day off school, last night was pretty crazy." Cammie said.

"Yes but it came to a pretty good close, wouldn't you agree?"

"Not sure about that." She teased. Zach gave her a poke in the side, making her giggle. "Okay yes I agree."

Zach chuckled.

Macey was awoken by Raine calling up the stairs to her, that breakfast was ready. To be honest, Macey hadn't planned on getting up at 10am, she wanted to take
advantage of the fact that she had a day off to sleep for longer. Then she'd go and see Grant, so she could tell him after he leaves the hospital about her feelings for him.
Hopefully she wouldn't get rejected.

Macey joined her family at the kitchen table, taking her knife and starting to spread butter on to her toast.

After getting ready, Macey was closing her front door behind her and began walking towards Cammie's. She figured that if she was going to see Grant and that everyone knew of her feelings for him, but Grant, that everyone would go with her to see him being discharged from the hospital. Once she got there, she knocked on the door to be told that Cammie in fact stayed at Zach's. So, that meant more walking to his house.

Macey knocked on Zach's front door.

"Hi." Craig said as he opened the door.
"Hi, I'm Macey a friend of Zach and Cammie."
He raised his eyebrows, "oh! Right, okay. Come on in still upstairs." He walked over to the kitchens. "ZACH! MACEYS HERE TO SEE YOU AND CAMMIE."
He received and 'okay' and moments later, the pair came quickly walking down the stairs.

"Hey." Grant greeted them the trio as he turned away from the desk. "Where's Jonas?"
"He's gonna come a little later. We were thinking we could all hang out together, since we haven't in a long while." Macey replied. He nodded.

Macey peered at Cammie, beside her, to see Cammie gesturing with her eyes for her to tell Grant now about how she feels. Macey sighed and nodded.

"Grant."
"Hm?"
"Can you I talk to you, over there, for a second?"
"Sure." He shrugged and they both took a seat at a row of empty chairs in the waiting room.
Macey breathed nervously, "I like you. A lot in fact and I'm still coming to terms with it all, because the way I feel about you, I've never really felt that way about anyone.
And I don't know whether you like me back or not, I just thought you should know."

Grant's eye widened slightly and he nodded. "I like you too, Macey."

"Really?" She asked.

"Yeah, I guess I didn't tell you because, I figured you didn't feel the same way and you had a boyfriend."

"Charlie and I just didn't work. At all." She shook her head, then smiled. "So what does this mean then?"

Grant leaned forward and pecked her lips gently. "I'm pretty sure we'll work out."

SO I'M EXTENDING IT SLIGHTLY SO IT WON'T JUST END RANDOMLY. HERE IS CHAPTER 26, HOPE YOU LIKED IT (:
