I still don't own anything.
"It's official" Edge boasted walking into the hotel room.
"What are you talking about?" Lita asked rolling her eyes.
Edge sighed, she's been acting very weird as of late.
"I'm talking about me and Hardy" Edge explained. "Next week at Survivor Series I'm finally going to get rid of the Hardy boys"
A look of panic washed over Lita's face, but lucky for her Edge didn't see it.
"Oh, um that's great babe" Lita lied.
Edge was so caught up in destroying Jeff, he didn't even notice the hesitation between Lita's words.
"I can't wait to get him out of the way, then I can finally cash this in" Edge proclaimed holding up his briefcase.
"Your gonna love the match Lita" Edge gloated. "I'm gonna beat him to a bloody pulp"
"Oh I'm sure you will" Lita said unconvinced.
Edge smiled. "I sure will. I gotta go, me and Randy are going to the gym".
"I thought we were going out to get lunch?" Lita asked
"I'll take you out to dinner" Edge promised.
Edge gave Lita a kiss before heading out of the door.
Lita sighed, pulled out her phone and dialed his number.
"Hello?"
"Hi Jeff" Lita greeted
"Hey Lita. Everything ok?" Jeff asked
"Yeah, can I come over?" Lita asked
"Sure. Room number 211"
"Thanks"
Lita looked down the hallway before knocking on the door.
"COME IN" Jeff yelled from inside.
Lita took a deep breath before entering the room.
"Hey Lita" Jeff smiled from the bed.
"And if that wasn't me at the door?" Lita asked closing the door.
Jeff chuckled as he got off of the bed. "I knew it was you"
Lita chuckled and sat down on the couch.
"So, did Edge abandon you?" Jeff asked.
"No..."Lita denied.
"Un huh" Jeff hummed sitting next to Lita.
"Here's a better question, why'd you really come here?" Jeff asked leaning back on the couch.
"I didn't want to be alone, and I knew you would let me in" Lita confessed.
Jeff nodded his head and shot up from the couch. "Are you hungry?"
"Yeah I am" Lita said standing.
Jeff grabbed her hand. "Let's go"
"Where are we going" Lita asked from the passengers seat.
"You'll see" Jeff confirmed
A few minutes later Jeff pulled into a parking lot and Lita's face lit up.
"You remembered?" Lita asked
"How could you forget a place called Chevy's?" Jeff chuckled as he opened the car door.
Lita laughed as Jeff opened her door. "Someone's being a gentleman today"
"I was just raised that way darling" Jeff laughed.
Lita playfully shoved Jeff as they walked into the restaurant.
Lita smiled as the familiar smell hit her nose.
"Hi welcome to Chevy's!" the bubbly waitress said.
"Table for two please" Jeff said giving the waitress a warm smile.
"Of course, right this way" the waitress said leading the way.
Jeff and Lita followed the waitress to their table. They sat down at the table as the waitress gave them their menus.
"I'll be right back" the waitress said before leaving.
"What are you getting?" Lita asked scanning the menu.
"The surf n' turf. What about you?"
"I think I'll get the salsa chicken dilla" Lita replied
The waitress came back and took their orders before leaving them alone once again.
"I hear that I'm going to have a match with Edge" Jeff mentioned.
"Yeah, Edge is really excited about that" Lita said.
"Is he? Well we'll see how excited he is come Survivor Series" Jeff insisted
Lita nodded her head as the waitress came back with their drinks.
Both Lita and Jeff thanked the waitress before she left to get their food.
"What are your thoughts on the match?" Jeff asked taking a sip of his drink.
"It's gonna be a great match, I'm looking forward to it" Lita answered.
"Your looking forward to seeing me kick your boyfriends ass?" Jeff joked.
Lita rolled her eyes and laughed. "In your dreams Hardy"
Jeff and Lita continued to joke around until the waitress bought them their food.
"So why haven't you gone after the Woman's championship yet?" Jeff asked with his mouth full.
"I'm just waiting for the right time to strike. And when I do, Trish Stratus won't see it coming" Lita gloated
"What about you?" Lita asked. "Instead of messing with me and Edge, why didn't you go after the WWE championship?"
Jeff looked Lita straight in the eyes. "Because your more important to me"
Lita blushed and looked down. "Really?"
Jeff nodded his head. "Absolutely"
Lita smiled as they continued to eat their meals in a comfortable silence.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" Edge yelled as soon as Lita walked though the door.
"I went out with a friend" Lita said sitting down on the couch.
"You could have told me!" Edge argued
"How? Knowing you, you wouldn't have answered your phone!" Lita barked.
"You could of left a fuckin' note!" Edge growled
"Don't start cursing at me Edge!" Lita warned pointing her finger in his face.
Edge rolled his eyes. "Fine then, tell me this Lita. Who were you with?"
It was Lita's turn to roll her eyes. "Why do you need to know?"
"Why is it such a secret?" Edge countered
"It's none of your damn business" Lita said getting in Edge's face.
Edge ran his hand down his face. "You don't want to tell me?"
When he didn't get a response he sighed. "Fine then! Don't tell me"
Edge went into the bedroom and grabbed his cellphone.
"Where do you think your going?" Lita asked
"Out" Edge said before slamming the door.
"Motherfucker" Lita said walking back into the bedroom.
Uh oh! That can't be good.
