I own nothing.
It was Armageddon, Jeff Hardy vs. John Cena with Edge as the special guest referee was tonight. It has also been two weeks since Edge viciously attacked Lita. The chair shot knocked Lita out for two days before she finally sat up. She sustained a concession and had to get stitches on her forehead. It broke Jeff's heart to see Lita laying in a hospital bed.
Unfortunately he couldn't be there for her everyday because he had to wrestle, but thankfully his brother Matt never left her side. It warmed his heart to see those two talking and playing around with each other again. Lita was getting better and better but Jeff wasn't taking any chances.
Of course Lita wanted to be out of the hospital so she could be by Jeff's side, but Jeff asked the hospital to not release Lita until the day after Armageddon. When the doctor told her the news she was upset but didn't complain. They were just looking out for her.
Jeff waited in the locker room for his match as Matt constantly texted him about how Jeff was going to win the match and destroy John Cena and Edge. Although Jeff appreciated the support from his brother, it was getting a little annoying so he turned his phone off.
Jeff grabbed his wrestling gear and started to change. He needed to focus on the match, not on his girlfriend.
Lita woke up from her nap and looked around the room. When she fell asleep Jeff and Matt where in the room, but now it was completely empty. Lita picked up her water bottle and took a sip as the doctor walked into the room.
"Hello Lita, how are you feeling?" He asked.
"I feel really good. What happened to everybody?" She asked.
"Well, I believe Jeff went to the arena and Matt went to get something to eat" the doctor said as he did I quick check up on Lita.
"Everything good doctor?" Lita asked.
"Everything's just fine. You'll be out of here by tomorrow" The doctor said as Matt walked into the room.
"Hey your up" He said as he sat his sandwich down.
"Yep, where'd you get that?" She asked pointing at the sandwich.
"The cafeteria, that place is awesome!" He said as The doctor laughed.
"They do have good food. I'll check on you in a hour" The doctor said.
"Ok, Thanks" Lita said as he left.
"How are you feeling?" Matt asked.
"I feel really good. I don't know why I'm still in here" she said.
"Just in case something happens" Matt said.
"I guess your right. So who's Jeff wrestling tonight?" she asked.
Matt gave her a weird look." Tonight's Armageddon. He's wrestling John Cena remember?"
Lita smacked herself on the forehead. How could she forget that!? What was wrong with her?!. "Oh my God! I completely forgot!"
"I don't know how you could forget, I've been talking about the match nonstop. But don't worry, we can watch the show here" Matt said as he turned the TV on. Lita looked up at the screen and saw Kane chokeslam MVP.
"I don't wanna watch it from the hospital, I wanna be there with Jeff!" Lita said.
"I think you should-what are you doing?" Matt asked as he watched Lita get out of bed and take her clothes.
"I'm going to the arena. If you wanna come with me then lets go, if you don't then you can stay here. But your not going to stop me from going to support Jeff" Lita said as she walked into the bathroom and closed the door.
Matt knew he had to go with Lita, or Jeff would kill him. He just wanted her to stay at the hospital with him so she could heal, but after that speech she just delivered he knew he couldn't talk her out of it.
Lita walked out of the bathroom and looked at Matt. "You coming?"
Matt nodded. "Yeah, lets go"
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and the winner will become the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship!" Lillian announced as the audience cheered.

"Everybody please welcome the special guest referee, he is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the rated R superstar, Edge!"
The crowd booed as Edge walked down the ramp and into the ring holding his championship in the air.
Your time is up my time is now
"Introducing first, from West Newbury Massachusetts. Weighing in at 251 pounds, John Cena!" Lillian said as the crowd cheered.
John ran into the ring as Edge rolled his eyes.
Don't you see the writings on the wall?
"His opponent, from Cameron North Carolina. Weighing in at 215 pounds, Jeff Hardy!" you could barely hear Lillian's voice as the crowd went absolutely crazy.
The bell rang as John shook Jeff's hand before they tied up. John immediately took Jeff down to the floor and put him in a head lock. As soon as John locked his fingers Edge got in Jeff's face.
"You wanna quit Jeff? I bet you do, don't ya? Can't take it?" Edge taunted.
Jeff broke the hold and put a head lock on Cena as Edge literally started to boo.
John quickly broke it and scoop slammed Jeff to the ground. Edge laughed at Jeff as went for the pin. Edge tried to pull a fast count but Jeff kicked out.
John looked at Edge as Edge flipped him off. John wanted to punch him in the face but he knew that he would be disqualified.
John picked Jeff up and punched him in the face. Jeff punched him right back and soon they were in a fist fight. Jeff kicked John in the gut and hit him with a face busters.
Jeff covered John as Edge counted extremely slow. Of course John kicked out and Jeff started to get mad.
"Can you not count faster?" Jeff yelled at Edge.
"No, now focus on your march!" Edge yelled back.
Jeff turned back around to see John getting up. Jeff drop kicked him back to the ground and performed a double leg drop to him midsection. Jeff pinned John again and Edge counted even slower this time.
When John kicked out Jeff got frustrated and got in Edge's face. The two continued to yell at each other when John grabbed Jeff in a small cradle. Edge tried to pull a fast count but Jeff kicked out.
Jeff popped back up and performed the poetry in motion on John. Then Jeff climbed on to the top rope and hit a Swanton Bomb on Cena. He pinned John and waited for Edge to count but he never did.
Jeff looked up to see Edge arguing with the fans. Jeff was about to get up but before he could he heard the crowd start to cheer. He watched as Lita slid into the ring and hi t Edge with a Twist Of Fate. Then Jeff watched another referee slid into the ring to make the count.
1...2...3! "RING THE BELL"
"Here is your winner, and the NEW number one contender...JEFF HARDY!" Lillian said as the referee held up Jeff's hand.
Lita jumped into Jeff's arms as he celebrated. John finally got up and shook Jeff's hand and raised it in the air before leaving.
Jeff turned back around and Edge slammed him with a spear, of course since Lita was still in his arms she went down with him.
Edge snatched his title from the referee and placed him foot on Jeff's chest as he held his title up. The crowd started to boo as the show faded to black.
