The Goonies and Kelly run downstairs to greet the surprise guest. But as soon as they saw who it was, they crossed their arms and pouted. Kelly hid behind Brand.

Mr. Perkins and one of his business associates stand behind the gate, trying to take cover from the rain under their fancy umbrellas.

"Senior jerk alert!" Mouth announces to the gang. No one laughs.

"Can I help you?" Brand asks, sounding irritated.

"Hello little guys. I'm Mr. Perkins, Troy's father."

Data turns to them. "We know who Troy is. He's a cheap guy." Brand covers Data's mouth, signaling him to shut up.

"My dad's not home, Mr. Perkins."

"Is your mommy here?"

"No, Sir. She's actually down at the market buying pampers for all us kids."

Mr. Perkins laughs then stops abruptly. "Papers, Phil." He hands him the papers, and continues. "Well you can give these to your father to read through and sign."

Brand walks down the steps to take them from him. Kelly, now with no one to hide behind, retreats back inside.

"We'll be by to pick them up in the morning."

They exchange thank yous and they all watch as the two business men leave in their car.

"Brand, what is all that stuff?" Mikey asks.

"It's Dad's business." Brand snaps back.

"But what is it?"

"I told you it was Dad's business!" He turns to watch them leave. "Look at 'em smiling."

"They can't wait until tomorrow when they foreclose on all of the whatever-you-call-it." Data says.

"And trash the Goondocks." Mouth adds.

"When they wreck our house I hope they make it a sand trap." Brand says, turning to go back inside.

"And never get their balls out!" Mikey exclaims, choosing to stay outside then go back in with everyone else.

"You know, I think they made me lose my appetite." Chunk sighs.

Back inside, Kelly smiles when she sees them all again. "Hey!"

"What a chump." Mouth says, walking towards the kitchen.

Chunk follows behind. "I tend to eat my feelings…"

Brand follows in silence and goes out the back door to get Mikey. Data looks at Kelly and questions her. "How come you didn't stay outside?"

Kelly needed to think of something. Fast. "I don't like getting wet. It sounds silly, because it was only rain, but I just…"

"…You don't like water?"

"Yeah!" Kelly exclaimed. That's perfect! Now they'll think she's a pansy.

"I know what it's like. My mom gets like that too. She almost drowned when she was younger."

"Thanks for understanding, Data." She smiles, and walks back with him into the kitchen.

Mouth uses the shiny metal toaster to see his reflection, combing his hair again. Once he's done, he sits on the edge of the sink.

"Oh God, am I depressed." Chunk says, lifting a can over his head before filling his mouth with whip cream.

"If I found One Eyed Willy's rich stuff, I'd pay all my dad's bills. Then maybe he'd get to sleep at night." Mikey says, sighing. "Instead of staying up, trying to figure out a way for all of us to stay here." He ruffles Data's hair.

"Me too, me three, me four, me five." The rest of the kids say.

"Forget about any adventures, limp lungs. I let you out and mom will ground my ass. I got a date with Andy on Friday, all right?"

Kelly's heart seemed like it stopped. He already liked someone. She wanted it to be her.

"You're dreaming, dude. There's no way. 'Cause that means her mom's gotta drive. Then you gotta make it with her AND her mom." Mouth jokes.

"Shut up, Mouth." Brand says.

"Shut up, Mouth." Data adds.

"Shut up, Data." Mouth snaps. Before he leaves, Brand turns the faucets on behind him, getting his jacket soaked. He screams and hurries off.

Mikey holds up the map. "Guys, what are we going to do about that country club? It's killing our parents."

Everyone else stands behind him, looking at it.

"If we don't do something now, there's going to be a golf course right where we're standing."

Lightning strikes, and suddenly it seems like the boys have a plan. The look at Kelly to see if she knows what they're thinking. She seems to know, but she's unsure.

"…Let's do it." She decides. She'll show them she can have fun. Even if it means doing something she'd never think of doing in the first place.

Cyndi Lauper is on the television, singing one of her songs. Brand is exercising on the couch with a band.

Mikey dumps his marbles on the ground, and puts the bag in his pocket. He motions to them that it's time.

They walk up to Brand nonchalantly and Kelly asks him a question, "Hey Brand, how far can you stretch that?"

He smirks. "It's not that hard." He stretches it all the way out, and the boys tackle him, keeping him down.

"Hey! Get off of me!" Brand chants as Mouth and Data tie the ends together, trapping him in the chair.

They run outside and hurry out the gate. Instead of going to his bike though, Mouth goes to Brand's. He starts letting all the air out of the tires.

"What are you doing?!" Mikey exclaims. "It took him 376 lawnmower jobs to pay for that. It's his most favorite thing in the world!"

"Now it's his most flattest thing in the world! Let's go!"

They all go to their bikes, but notice that Kelly doesn't have one.

"Aw, Kell Belle doesn't have a ride." Mouth says, pretending to cry.

"Here, Kelly. Sit on top of the handlebars." Mikey says. Kelly does as she's told, and they all ride off.
