Epilogue

Now The Reality Begins...

The sun is burning my eyes. Why do we need to go outside right now? I want to stay at home. I NEED to stay at home. I shouldn't be here with these people once I called comrade now dragging me to hell so I can pay what I had done. The irony here is that, they are accusing me of my loves death more importantly MY case I have worked for more than a month now. And why? Because people want to believe that I was the one who freed my brother. Yes, my killer brother who slaughtered my whole family. But the juries are too blind to see that I wasn't even at that city when things happened.

And do you know their evidence? For them, I should have a disease that erases the bad things I have done from my memory. Go to hell for all I care. I can't even trust Neji right now. He tried to whisper some words like, "Don't worry, I'll save you ." He seriously didn't accept me to believe that, right?

I feel dizzy. I can't get the handcuffs out and my hands hurt,like so much. They are taking me in front of the judge now. Oh god please, let the judge be smart. Or I'll live the rest of my life-like my brother, Uchiha Itachi.

Dear Diary,

People started to accuse me of being mad, I just can't take it anymore. Everytime I think of the game 'The Devil' I go crazy and actually start to see something. I do not feel good. I feel like I'm going insane. But the others have no right to comment on anything. Just let them burn in hell. Especially some girls in school who try to steal Sasuke-kun. Who they think they are trying to steal my property? I will make them all pay. Just let them see. They won't even know what came to them.

"This is Neji Hyuuga, what can I do for you?"

A pregnant silence.

"Don't play dumb with me Hyuuga, you already know where I am. Why won't you pick me up?"

Neji gave a deep breath he didn't know he was holding. He didn't want to deal with the person end of the line, there was enough trouble he had to deal with soon and he was not going to chat with the said person anytime soon.

"No, I'm busy."

"Busy with what? Oh, let me guess. Your favorite friends-"

"Don't you dare say anything else! It was you who made up all the stuff he is accused of now. I'm not even beginning with the case."

The said person chuckled lightly.

"Oh my, aren't we angry. I'll leave you to your own misery than . I have things to do anyway. So bye."

Neji cursed after the phone call ended but he knew he could never win against that person.

He took his bag and his little defence speech he was going to read to judge if he had a chance to.

God knows what will happen there.

The hooded figure pulled out its(I'll mostly use it because I'm not giving its gender until the end) phone once again. How boring was it that it's dear Neji was getting ready for a defence he would never had a chance to. Of course with its one touch be could tell the judge and the jury that Uchiha Sasuke had to spent at least 10 years in jail. Piece of a cake.

It dialed the number on the phone and clicked the call button while walking to its destination. After a few ring the person at the end of the line opened the phone.

"Hello?"

"Oh, hi there. Do you have a minute to talk about the inspector Uchiha Sasuke? Yes, he is my comrande."

"Uchiha Sasuke, you have been found guilty from the death of Haruno Sakura. From today you are going to be imprisoned at the Local Criminal Center for the rest of your life. The case is closed."

The judge stood up from his seat and took his book with himself while leaving the room. Sasuke could only stay still. What was he going to do now? He couldn't win for some reason, even from the beginning it looked like the judge has already found him guilty.

Neji slowly rose from his seat and walked at his friends seat. He knew that this seconds he was spending were the last free ones. From this day on, his dear friend was going to be taken away from him.

No one could understand. The famous Uchiha was found guilty. Why? How? Was it even possible that the perfect Uchiha could be the killer? He was too clever. He could have easily slip away from the case. No mind doubted that.

After leaving the room, the young judge opened his now ringing phone.

"Why call me now? It's already done?"

"Just wanted to say good job, Chief. Good job."

"Neji can I use your phone? They took mine. I just want to call Kyo so I can tell him, I will be not coming at his house tonight."

"Sure, Sasuke." He told him softly.

Sasuke dialed a number and clicked the first number that came up. The phone started to ring and after a few seconds someone opened it.

"Hey Kyo, I just want to tell you that-"

"Finally giving up, Neji-kun?" The sweet voice at the end of the line pured. Sasuke looked confused, trying to understand who he called. It was surely a wrong number. But the voice itself sound so familiar. Who could it be? He looked at the blank screenof the phone. If he touched it the name would appear, right? Then why was he trembling? Was he afraid that the only person left who he trusted was leaving him too? No, Neji certainly was not guilty from anything.

He finally clicked the screen of the phone and-

"Sasuke! Hey Sasuke?! "

He looked at his friend. His eyes suddenly started to fill with tears. Why? Why would he do that?

"Why Neji? What's the meaning of this?"

Neji looked confused. He couldn't understand what his friend was talking about. He looked at his friend than at his phone in Sasuke's hand.

Sasuke throwed the phone to its owner. Neji looked at the screen. Than he released who he mistakenly called.

"Why, Neji? What have I done to you to make me hate you that much? Why?"

"Sasuke look-" he tried to apologize to him.

"Why is Sakura at the end of the line and alive, Neji? Tell me?!"

10 27 2013 (1 year after 'the call' )

The Local Criminal Center was quieter than usual. There were fewer fights, fewer crimes and fewer doctors coming in. It was a fair day compared to the first day he came here.

There was a grand fight when he came here. Now not only he was guilty from killing someone but he was also a sociopath. Well, things turned out that he wasn't the only one who actually was not guilty. His name was Uzumaki Naruto. He was a dobe but it was better than nothing.

When he first came here he tried to tell the doctors that Haruno Sakura was still alive and Neji Hyuga was hiding her, they tried to give him medicines. But no matter what Naruto had believed him.

Sometimes he felt himself closer to his brother more than anything. He could actually understand why he was acting different. He pressure of the others made him do things he didn't wanted to do. Or maybe he wasn't the one who did it at all. He still had so many things to find about his brother. He sometimes got secret coded letters from him and tried his hardest to answer them. It was good to have a family.

Sasuke kept reminding him that he was not crazy and there were still so many mystery he had to solve before actually going insane. He knew Neji was guilty. He was trying to take revenge from him in his own ways. He also knew that his Chief was one of the main criminals. And there was also someone Neji was working with. He still couldn't find who he was. It was supposed to be someone who knew him, probably from work and also had a communication with Neji and him. Someone who knew their phone number.

"You are alright. You are fine. You will get out of here and solve the remaining case. Everything will turn out good." He kept telling to himself. He tried to forget the reason he could be insane. The only reason that kept him alive.

If Sakura was still alive, the what about the corpse they found at her house? Maybe Sakura was supernatural in her own way from the beginning. It was obvious that the Devil was her and he had difficulties trying to figure that out. Their games were always intended to her , but he was blind to see something like that.

Uchiha Sasuke slowly closed his eyes, leaning at the cold metal of the prison bars. He knew there was a way out. He just had to push his limits and figure a way not to be ToRn in his journey for freedom.

But was he ready?
