Chapter 19…

I, Helga, have no idea what this treasure is about or why does the Green-Eyed people want Serena to have it, but once we find out we all can finally breathe again. This has been one strange adventure, one after another, and yet somehow is bringing me closer to my Football-Headed love god.

We have decided that we would wait until after the Homecoming dance to try and pry out the relic out of Serena's back. Besides, I needed time to talk to Serena and what better way to get some alone time than to go shopping for dresses. Again with the dresses.

"Hey, you know that she will be singing at the dance. I have seen her, and I think she might transform herself into one of Phoebe's anime characters. What do you think?"

…Helga, I dunno about that…

"I bet no one will ever find out who she is. They might think that she's not real like the Vocaloid that's popular in Japan. Who knows, at least if she does then no one will find out her real identity."

…You are doing that on purpose. FINE, I will wear an anime costume…

"Check this dress out."

Well my plan worked, now to the main reason why I asked her shopping.

"Hey, Arnold told me that he witnessed to a memory of when you were saved by the Green Eyes; I guess I want to know is, do you remember that incident?"

She paused for a few moments.

…I think I was shot through my heart and had a bad concussion. I don't really know much, but I remember my eyesight went to complete shadow. Some sort of light shined through the dark and engulfed my vision…wait. Numbers, I remember a combination of numbers my mother gave me. I never knew what they were for, and still don't know. My mom told me that the truth is within these numbers…

As I read her last statement and seen her numbers, she emerged from the dressing room in a rainbow-ish short dress that looked awesome on her. If only she can see materials.

…Homecoming Dance…

At the dance, Serena was getting used to these social events. One of the better moments is that Lindsay is still humiliated by the fact that her ticket for the dance was revoked. As the night went on, many of the students was wondering where Blind Angel is.

"Where is Blind Angel?"

"I dunno, oh Pheebs we need to freshen up. Serena come with us."

Once in the bathroom Phoebe took out a bag of anime clothes and dressed Serena up and I fixed her face up again. She had purple wig, blindfold, blue headphones, and modern version of a school outfit.

She looked like she came out of Japanese cartoon, and I thought that she was ready to take the stage.

I placed her in the middle of the stage with a microphone next to her mouth, and I went to Gerald to introduce the new singer, since he's the DJ. The spotlight shined on her and after a while she started to sing the new song Slow Down by Selena Gomez.

I walked down to where Arnold was and he was eating food and watching the new singer. I sat down next to him.

"Where's Serena?"

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."

He grabbed my hand and I felt nervous. He took it to his lips and kissed my hand.

"With everything we have been through, I think I can believe whatever story you tell me."

I whispered in his ear "The singer is Serena."

The look of shock and amazement was priceless.

"That is our gift to you. The singing was my idea, but it was her idea to give a thank you gift, and so why not combine the two."

He took me off my chair, hugged me tightly, and kissed me very hard. We broke apart and he thanked me.

"You're welcome, Arnold. One thing though; please don't acknowledge the fact she's the singer okay. She might faint again, because right now she's using every bit of courage just to stand there and sing."

"Don't worry Helga, I won't. I love you."

Even now I am shocked. I still get butterflies when he says those words.
