Author's note: Old readers- welcome to the updated chapters of A Paradox of Snowflakes. There have been some VERY huge changes to the story- such as the fact that it's now humanized (there were complaints of bestiality from my brother), so I hope that you'll keep on reading, my little ponies! To all new readers, I give you a virtual hug and brohoof. You are all amazing for still sticking with my fanfiction!

When I first woke up, the first things I noticed was her.

Not to mention the horrible pain in my head. Ouch.

But anyways, that psycho human was staring at me. She had a quiet beauty about her, though. Unlike Tooth's face that shined brightly amidst all the world's darkness, Twilight's allure was almost hidden by her tied purple and black hair, and the superior look that haunted her face.

"Stop staring at me. Get up." Twilight's cheeks had now turned a red, I'm not sure if it was because my chilling exterior or because she-

Never mind. I don't waste my thoughts with those kinds of fantasies. I got up and dusted myself off.

I still couldn't believe the fact that this realm could see me- maybe beings in other dimensions believed in me and the other Guardians, as well. But that would mean a lot more work for all of us, if we had to travel through all of North's portals. Yet, that Twilight Sparkle sure had no idea who I was.

Hmm, I actually thought this place was fun. I guess I better head back to the portal-oh, wait. I didn't have a portal snow globe with me. Now how was I going to get back home? The little psychopath used magic or something to get at my head; maybe it would transport me back.

About my mind though, I felt something creepy put its claws inside-something dark and powerful...like Pitch. He can't be here, though. He never went into the portal with me.

Whatever, let's have a little fun now, shall we?

"Can I help you with anything?" I asked her sarcastically. I realized I was lying on the dirty ground of what appeared to be the center of a town. I looked around to see small-sized humans surrounding me with big, curious eyes.

The area I was in was filled with colours and smells unknown to me. Apple fritter and fresh roses filled the air (it was much cleaner than the Earth realm) and everything around me was covered with envious nature.

"Well, howdy, partner!" A human with tawny hair came up to me, wearing a straw hat and talking in a southern accent. I looked up and saw a flying human, who seemed to literally be a rainbow whizzing past me.

If North was here, he would have started babbling about the wonder and magic of this place.

What's up with all the colours in this place, anyway? It's like Tooth vomited all over here or something.

Tooth. North. I felt a pang in my chest and knew that I missed the Guardians. Before I got too homesick though, a bright looking being with long, white hair, approached me with a...what was that? A parchment? Seriously? I rolled my eyes mentally. She started opening it with her dainty hands (I had no idea how that was possible- the parchment must have weighed about 30 million more times than her) and had begun to read it in a loud falsetto:

"Jack Frost, you are hereby declared guilty of threatening the Crystal Heart and its kingdom-"

Wait. What the heck is a crystal heart?

"-evil magic. Your punishment will be locked in stone for eternity. Do you have anything you want to declare before this event happens?"

Locked in stone? Forever? Are these humans idiots or something? I'm the Jack Frost- you know, the one that kind of saved Earth from utter darkness?

"Wait, wait, wait. You actually think I did any harm here?" I lifted up my hands and started flying around the slender being. "I mean, sure I had my fun and made a couple of ice slides but, you know, besides that, no evil magic or anything." I stopped flying and hovered in front of the dazzling authority; I assumed she was the leader since everyone became hushed as soon as she spoke.

She stared at me profoundly. "I know what you are- a Guardian- the most mischievous of them all."

I chuckled. "I'm glad you've heard about me."

"Of course, my sister, Nightmare Moon, was contacted by the Man in the Moon from the Earth Realm about your sudden…promotion, I should say."

I started forming ice balls in my hand and nodding at the same time. There had to be a way to get out of this freaky place! "Sorry, but who are you?" I asked. The rest of her people were still watching her and me- well, except for a cheery girl with bubblegum coloured hair, who was jumping around in the crowd, yelling, "Oooh! I love guessing games! Pick me! Pick me! I know who she is!"

"My name is Princess Celestia. I'm the Universal Commander of Equestria-which means I look over all visitors arriving in my universe," she raised her chin again, as if I wanted to see her pasty neck, "Now, say your last words before I commence your punishment, Jack Frost," Princess Celestia smiled, "I'm sure your Guardians would understand about this. After all, you've always been evil-I'm not sure why the Man in the Moon picked you in the first place."

Now she was making me angry. If the Man in the Moon tells you something, believe it.

"My name is Jack Frost. I am a Guardian, chosen by the Man in the Moon," I rose higher and higher into the air, "I'm not evil and I did not do whatever you're all accusing me of!" As I was about to fly away into one of the forests ahead, when all of a sudden, I was pushed down to the ground. My vision turned black and caused my head to hurt again. I coughed up dust. Ugh! Those stupid purple coils again!

A voice spoke out from above me. "Princess Celestia, hearing of this new threat to the Crystal Heart, I hereby declare to take this new creature under my wing in order to begin the Discord Reform on him and help him get back to his realm." I opened my eyes to see who it was.

Twilight Sparkle.
