Sorry! Been awhile. Ive been in the process of moving and settling in and have been writing but just hadt had time to post anything! So here is an extra long chapter with more coming soon now that i've settled in!

Alex walked ahead of Loki by a few steps down the hall towards her room. She didn't say mush except nodded and made noise in agreement when finally Loki said "I'm sorry… I believe he reacted towards me, not you. I seem to bring out… The worse in some people." He said with a smirk.
"No… He's been an ass for awhile now. Don't feel special." She said turning to him once they reached her bedroom door. "But I'm sorry, I'm thinking I'm gonna call it an early night. Been a bit eventful."
Loki nodded "I fully understand. Brothers can be… Exhausting."
"I guess you get it… Brothers suck…" She said laughing.
He laughed "Hum… Interesting way to put it. But yes, agreed… Well Good night Lady Stark." He said beginning to walk away. He walked a few more steps and turned around "Will I get to see you again."
She looked up surprised "Um… I don't see why not." She said smiling "I'm pretty much always free…"
"So tomorrow then?" He asked smirking catching her off guard.
Surprised she shrugged "Sure. Stop by whenever after twelve… Well goodnight till then Loki."
He nodded "Till then." And walked down the hall to his room.
Alex had finally finished her morning training session with Clint and showered. She threw on a plain and simple strapless royal blue maxi dress and began cleaning up and putting away laundry while watching whatever reality show was on television. Around four she decided to lay down till she heard a knock on the door. Surprised she got up and answered the door to see Loki.
"Well you look dashing… Been waiting for me all day?" He said grinning.
She laughed "Very funny…You can come in." she said opening the door for him completely. "How has your day been?"
"Quite a bore. And you?" He asked walking in and looking around the room.
Shrugging she said "Same old same old I guess…"
He nodded "Your room is very nice. Big and spacey. Guess that's how it works when you're a bit more likable or a superhero…" He said smiling "Not that I'm complaining." Alex just laughed and said handing him a glass of water "Sounds like complaining to me…"
"Well dear it may have been, but I have a question to ask you." He said sitting down and making himself comfortable "I hear you are quite the expert on a certain war here on earth. I love a good war story. Would you be willing to teach me about it, I'm so eager to learn." He said with a smirk.
She laughed "Really. That seems so random…"
"Well it gets boring here. Might as well fill it with learning especially if I may be here for awhile…" He said shrugging "So what do you say? Think you'll be up to the task…"
Sighing "Well I'm not sure…" and then smiled "But I'm sure we can make it work… But in exchange I want to hear war stories from Asgard. I bet there are some amazing ones…Wait your not up to anything are you?" She said raising an eyebrow.
Loki chuckled "Me? Never…."
"Loki…" She said walking over and sitting on the other end of the couch "don't make me look like an idiot for trusting you… Last thing I need is Tony and everyone in my ear saying I told you so… But I'd love to help you learn about world war two."
He nodded "Well should we start with world war one?"
"I guess... But just a briefing. I know about everything I should know but my main studies focused all on world war two." She then put on her shoes "Well let's go." She said as she approached the door.
He looked around "Are we starting now?"
"When would you prefer…" She said with a grin.
He laughed "Now is good. Very hast no time to waste."
"Very fascinating…" He said sitting back with his hands behind his head as they sat in the library. "You are quite the teacher Lady Stark… Who knew your world was cable of such a amazing battle."
Alex laughed "You under estimate us too much…"
"Do you blame me…" He said shrugging "Your such a… World divide. Always fighting and trying to be better than one another. It's quite sad…"
She laughed "No offense… this coming from you is very amusing… You and your sibling rivalry to be better than Thor and be king led to a very sad and short little battle… Now that is quite sad." She saw Loki just nod and look down "Oh… I'm sorry… That came out mean… I was just trying to be playful but didn't think that one though…"
"No, you're right. I apologize… I just didn't expect that." He said "I don't scare you do i…"
She busted out into laughter "No… Not at all." She then stopped laughing "Oh my… That came out wrong… But no I don't feel any need to fear you. But should i?"
"Interesting… And no. I don't think you should." He said with a grin.
Blushing she looked away "Well good. Now should we continue or would you wanna break until tomorrow or something…" She said closing one of the books and putting it back on the shelf.
"You tell me." He said closing another book and walking over to her and leaning against the shelf fairly close to her and handing her a book and spooking her a little when she turned and saw him there
Slowly grabbing the book she took a deep breath "Your very quite…"
"I wouldn't say that…" He said shaking his head "Maybe your minds wondering to much… You look a little flustered…" He said with his classic smirk.
She blushed yet again "I'm fine. You just… Caught me off guard… We should break for the day" She looked at the shelf and grabbed a book "Here read this tonight…"
"Ah… I get homework I see…" He said taking the book from her "Looks… Intriguing. Can't wait."
She just nodded "Love the enthusiasm. Well I should…" She stopped when she heard someone walk in and looked over and saw Steve standing there awkwardly. She looked back to Loki "I should go…"
Loki then turned to see who had walked in "Oh well hello solider…"
He never looked away from Alex "Loki I need to speak to Alex in private…"
"I'm not sure she wants that…" He said looking back to Alex who was dead silent and extremely tense. "Alex would you like me to escort you to your door…" Loki asked still looking at her. She just nodded staying silent.
"Alex… Please we need to talk." Steve protested.
Sighing she looked up at him and nodded "Thank you Loki… But I've got it from here… I'll see you tomorrow."
"As you wish…" He said nodding "Till tomorrow. Good night and… Thank you." He said smiling before he walked away not even acknowledging Steve as he left the room.
As soon as Loki had left the room Steve made his way closer to Alex and sat down at the table. "So you're seeing him tomorrow…" He asked turning to face her from the chair, She just nodded "Oh okay.."
She sighed "It's not like that… I'm just teaching him about world war two. He came to me wanting to learn so I decide to teach him…"
"Well if he wanted to learn about World war two he could have asked me…" Steve replied raising an eyebrow "I mean I kind of fought in it."
She rolled her eyes "And what would you have said if he came asking for you help…"
He nodded "Well I guess your right… But he's dangerous Alex. You need to be careful. He has no remorse and does not care about anyone. He betrayed and tried to kill his own brother, so I doubt it would even phase him to hurt you…" He said pulling out the chair next to him "Sit down please…"
Sighing she slowly walked over and sat down next to him "If you just came here to lecture me about Loki then you should just go away. I am trusting my gut on this one. And my gut says trust him. So I don't care what you or Tony or who the hell ever have to say…"
Steve just placed his hand on hers "I know… And I trust you. Tony doesn't, but I do… Just please be careful…" He stood up and looked at her "I'm always here if you need me." He then leaned down and kissed her on the cheek and left.
Alex then sat and rubbed her forehead before standing up to leave. When she did she walked to the door and almost screamed when Loki appeared out of thin air "Oh my goodness…. What the hell… Were you in here whole time…"
"So you trust me…" He said grinning.
Shaking her head she kept walking "I did, as in past tense but I guess Steve was right… And what the hell I thought your power was limited by some device…"
"Well you looked tense when I left. As if you didn't want to be alone with the Captain so I just stayed to keep an eye on things…" He said walking behind her "But I can see where that would be a bit intruding… and offensive."
She laughed and rolled her eyes "Glad I didn't have to break that down for you… Can you just leave me alone for the rest of the night. I kind of wanna punch you right now…" Alex said annoyed.
"Have I offended you that much?" He asked beginning to look concerned. "If I did I do apologize."
She kept walking "No… I mean you did offend me but… Not just… Everythim I see or talk to Steve or Tony I get like this. You stayed in for good reasons… Cant get to mad…" She stopped as they reached her door "Well this is good night… I will see you tomorrow…" She said grabbing her key.
"Good night… See you tomorrow…" He said smiling "Sleep peacefully."
As she was about to open her door she stopped and turned "Wait…" She said urgently. Loki turned "Yes…" He said smirking. Alex closed her door and walked a little closer "You never did tell me how you were able to use your powers. I thought you had a device that limited you a lot and strained you whenever you used powers. You seemed fine earlier… and well your powers didn't seem very limited." She questioned raising an eyebrow "So please explain. I'm quite interested…"
"You really want to know…" He said slowly walking towards her; she just nodded "Can you keep a secret Miss. Stark…" She just nodded again. He then walked right to her with only inches left and leaned down "You underestimate me…" He then stood back up "Good night Lady Stark…"
She took a deep breath as he walked away "Alex… You can call me… Alex."
"Good night Alex." He said nodding.
She tried not to blush from the way he said it and just nodded back "Good night, Loki…" And quickly went back into her room and closed the door.
~2 Weeks Later~
Alex jolted up from a dream and saw Pepper at the end of her bed folding laundry "Oh… Hi…" She said trying to compose herself. "What are you doing here…" She asked grabbing her robe and throwing it on before stepping out of bed.
"Well been here for the past ten minutes listening to you have quite a dream… Starting to feel uncomfortable in here…" She said picking at Alex "So who was it Channing Tatum?" She asked with a grin.
Turning bright red "No. It was nothing and nobody…"
"Oh my goodness… that means it was somebody we really know…" Pepper said excited "So do I get any details… I mean you slept in till eleven so it must have been a pretty damn good dream…" She said nudging her.
Alex sighed and walked to the bathroom and splashed her face "It was nothing… I don't even remember it…" She said lying.
"Sure you don't…" She said raising an eyebrow. "Well would you like to have a girls pool day today… Its just been so long since me and you have just hung out and talked and gossiped just a little. I may lose my mind without your company, so please just help me keep my sanity…"
Sighing she shrugged "I guess… Let me get dressed." She walked into her closet and kept trying to get her dream out of her head, but the more she tried the more she continued to think about it. It gave her chills just thinking about it. She changed into a plain mint green bikini and tied a white sarong around her waist. Walking out of her closet she started putting on sunscreen. As she finished up there was a knock on the door.
She wasn't expecting anybody today "Um… Pepper I'm ready let me just get that…" She said walking to the door. She answered it surprised to see Loki standing there. "Oh hey…" She said turning bright red and looking a little flustered.
"Oh... Um…" He said looking at her "I figured we could have another lesson today but you seem to have something else in mind…"
She looked down forgetting she was just in her bathing suit "Uh yeah the pool… With Pepper… Girls day…" She said nodding "Um… Maybe tomorrow… but we should… We …Um… Me and Pepper should head out…"
"Are you well… You seem… Odd." He asked confused. "Did I do something… If it was my reaction a moment ago I'm just not use to such… well revealing swimming garments." He had a worried look in his eyes.
She shook her head "I uh… Figured… and no. I'm just tired and um… Been a crazy night- I mean day. Crazy… Crazy day…. Well… Uh we should go… I'll see you soon…" She said trying not to sound flustered but coming out even more flustered then earlier and even redder.
"Well I won't object… You have a good girl's day so to say." He nodded still looking worried.
She just nodded and shut the door after waving and turned to see Pepper holding her hand over her mouth to keep from laughing "Shut up…" Alex said walking and grabbing a towel. "Are you ready yet…" She asked Pepper who was still trying not to laugh "What's so funny… Can we go…"
"You had a dream about Loki…" She said bursting into laughter. "I mean I thought it was odd for you to be hanging out with him now you're having dirty dreams about the man… Wait you and Loki haven't done anything have you…" She asked raising an eyebrow at her.
She coughed "No! We just study wars together. He teaches me and I teach him…" She said making Pepper raise her eyebrow again "About wars. Get your mind out of the gutter." She said rolling her eyes.
"You're still having very, very dirty dreams about him…" she said giggling.
Peppers comments made her sigh "Pepper… My dreams weren't even about him."
"I'm not dumb you know… Sorry crazy night… I mean day Sigh…" She said mocking Alex. "And you should have seen how flustered and red you were. I felt like I was watching a train wreck as you were talking to him."
She grabbed her sunglasses "Are we going or not…"
"Were going…" She said laughing. "So which dream are better Loki or Steve…"
Alex just shook her head "Neither. Both are nonexistent."
"Hey girls day means girl talk…" She said playfully shoving her. Alex just sighed "Fine I'll drop it… You'll come get it over your chest and explode when you're ready. I know how you are. Just taking you a lot long to process all your emotions on this particular situation which who can blame you you're having fantasies about the man who tried to take over earth and even tried to kill your brother… That would confuse me…"
Alex looked over at her and frowned as they approached the pool "Pepper it wasn't Loki. If you must know it was… Bruce." She said lying.
"Oh my goodness! Are you serious?" She asked laughing "I've heard it all now. I mean he isn't bad but never seemed like your type…" She said laughing.
Alex shrugged "Tell me about it…" She said starting to lay out and continued to make small talk and gossip with Pepper until they doze off under the sun.
Jumping up from her dream again looking around still outside under the sun. She quickly looked over to Pepper and breathed a sigh of relief to see her still asleep. "Damn it." She whispered fanning herself. She opened the umbrella over Pepper and then headed back inside grabbing all of her stuff. She darted down the hall way not wanting to run into anyone and went into her room quietly. She went and decided to shower and lay down she was feeling dizzy. She began walking towards the bathroom and before she could even make it into the bathroom though her knees went weak and everything went dark and she felt her body collapse against the floor.
She fell into her same dream from earlier until midway though she felt a cold rag on her face waking her up. Her eyes slowly opened and she woke up gently compared to the other times where she jolted awake. She felt the cold rag still but along with warm liquid running down the side of her forehead. she was still very confused until she heard him… "You took quite the fall. Consider yourself lucky I was walking by and heard you… Drink this." They said putting a glass against her lips. she lifted her a head a little and took a few sips and laid her head back down fully opening her eyes. It was Loki just as she suspected.
"Loki… Howd you get in." she asked looking around.
He laughed "You fainted and are bleeding from the head and that's your first question…But though the door. I owe you a new door handle… and possibly door. Figured not everyone here should know about my magic being back, unless you've told on me…" He said joking.
"No… Your secrets safe with me…" She said laughing "That is as long as you stay out of trouble… So what happened?"
He sighed "Like I said you fainted. I think you maybe dehydrated… You were by the pool for about four hours…"
"Oh god… How red am it…" She said laughing "I must look like a lobster…"
He laughed "Not at all actually. I actually had one of the little S.H.E.I.L.D workers call upon a doctor… You may need to have that gash looked at." He said dabbing her forehead again.
"Oh… Okay…" She said before jumping up knowing that Bruce was the only doctor and Bruce would till Tony. She was still very weak on her feet so the moment she jumped up Loki had to catch her before the knees buckled again.
Just as Loki caught her she heard them walk in "Get your hands off my sister ass hole…" Tony said running in "What did you do!" He yelled seeing the blood on Alex's forehead.
Loki quickly placed her back down on the bed and Alex sighed knowing Tony was about to start trouble "Tony I fainted… He came in and helped me…"
"I'm sure he did!" He said still walking towards Loki "So what happened, Reindeer…" He asked looking madder and madder. Loki started "She fainted and I heard her hit the ground when I was-" Before he could finish Tony punched him in the face and again and again.
Within minutes Nick Fury and Thor walked in the room. By then the fight had ended but the evidence was there. Loki was sitting on the bed holding his nose up with a rag Alex was holding for him while Bruce was trying to calm Tony down in a corner of the room. "What just happened here?" Nick barked out as Thor approached Loki. Nobody said anything as Nick waited "All right take Loki to solitary…" He said beginning to walk out as two big men walked in towards Loki.
"Alex still was dizzy and nauseous but stood in front of Loki "No. It wasn't Loki. My brother came in assumed Loki had hurt me even though I had just fainted and Loki was HELPING me. And Tony… He started punching Loki... He never even fought back." She looked over to Tony who looked upset but stayed silent.
Nick nodded "You heard her boys. Tony solitary for forty eight hours. Maybe next time you'll know better than to start a fight…"
Alex felt and overwhelming about of guilt as they drug him away but decide to go back to focusing on Loki "I… I thinking the bleeding stopped" she said moving the rag from his nose. "Bruce will you look at him…"
"He's a god I'm sure he's fine… Now let me see you." he said starting to clean her forehead. "Well not to bad… Just stay in bed the rest of the night and I'll bring fresh bandages tomorrow." He said starting to bandage her up. "Also drink more water so we don't ended up in messes like this." He stood up "Call me if you need anything…" He said as he left.
Alex sat up in her bed "Thor he really was just helping him…"
Thor nodded "Well I'm glad to hear that… I'm glad he was there to help… And sorry it was your brother who got into trouble." He said looking at her "That was very brave what you did… I know how Stark can hold a grudge…"
"Well I've dealt with it for twenty five years I think I'll be okay." She said shrugging. "And we haven't been on the best of terms anyways so he shouldn't be too surprised… Besides he only get forty eight hours I know they would have just left your brother down there till god knows when…"
He just looked at her and nodded knowing she was right "Loki tells me you've been teach him of your wars here on earth. Thank you for letting him live a some what normal life here. I was worried he'd be bullied and lonely." He said chuckling as Loki frowned.
"You both know I'm still conscious right." He said still frowning.
Alex just realized her hands were still on his shoulders. She quickly pulled them off "Sorry… But thank you Loki. That could have been so much worse than it was if you hadn't made it in here… And I'm sorry you had to deal with Tony. You didn't deserve that."
"Your welcome…" He said nodding. "And not a worry. I will be fine in the morning. Thank you for sticking up to me."
Sighing she just nodded until Thor stepped back into the conversation "Well we should be going. Bruce said you should rest. I will be sure to come see how you are doing tomorrow… Loki." He said gesturing to the door.
"I will be sure to come see you tomorrow also. Sleep well Alex." He said giving her a reassuring smile.
She nodded "Thank you… You to Loki, and of course you Thor. See you both tomorrow.
Waking up she took a deep breath "What the hell…" The dreams just would not go away. He had been there in her dream the past three times and she didn't understand it. She went and took a hot shower and changed into a pair of jeans and a plain black t shirt. She began blow drying her hair the moment she finished she heard banging on the door. She walked quickly to the door "Hello…" She said swinging it open to see Thor.
"You look well today…" He said smiling and walking in. "How did you sleep?"
Alex smiled "Very well… And you?"
"Sleep is for the dead to me…" He joked "But glad to hear you're doing well though."
She had something going on in the back of her head and it took a few minutes of awkward silence till she blurted it out "Can Loki manipulates dreams…" She asked turning a bright shade of red once she said it.
"Um no… I don't believe so…" He said raising an eyebrow. "Dreams are your freedom spot your subconscious it would take a much higher power than me or Loki to control someone's dreams. Why do you ask Lady Stark…"
She shrugged "No reason… Just a question…"
He still looked at her confused and just nodded "Well if you have any more feel free to ask." He said sighing "But I should be going…"
"Wait… How's Loki…" She asked turning red again.
He chuckled "My my… He is good as new lady Stark. Feel free to visit; I'm sure he would enjoy seeing you. He tells me you have been teaching him about your wars here on earth." He said laughing.
"Um.. Yeah. What's so funny about that?" She asked crossing her hands.
He raised his hands "No need to get defensive… He just knows about them all ready. We both do. We studied them as children growing up. We had to study most of the battles for all nine realms." He shrugged "It's quite odd he's already forgotten about all about our studies from growing up." He then looked down and shook his head with a chuckle and stood up straight "Well I should be going… If you need me or have any more questions I am coming by in a few days again. Stay safe… And hydrated till then."
She just sighed and nodded "Got it… Bye Thor…" He just nodded in response and left. She couldn't believe Loki hadn't told her he already learned about the wars. It upset her and make her feel like an idiot. She grabbed her jacket and started towards his room and banged on the door with her fist when she got there.
He went and opened it "Oh… Hello what a pleasant surprise, come in."
She walked in and his room was nice just pleasantly smaller then everyone else's. "We need to talk." She said crossing her arms. "So you know about all the wars here?"
"Well yes thanks to you…" He said smirking.
Frowning she just rolled her eyes "Cut the bull shit. Thor told me about how you both learned about them as children."
He nodded "Did he now… Well Cats out of the bag as your kind would say. Well I just enjoyed your company and spending time with someone other than my brother… Who likes me about as much as everyone else here." He shrugged "I don't much care for them either though." He then sat down "But its fine. You can go now if you like. I'm not sorry if that's what you're waiting for…"
She sighed and nodded. Alex walked over and sat down next to him and simply asked "So how's your nose…" Beginning small talk with him to let him know she wasn't mad anymore. "Looks better.."
Looking over and smiling he just nodded "Feels better to. Your head?"
"Well I'm not a god so still healing but not to bad…" She joked with him playfully beginning small talk.
