A/N: Hello dearies! I am sorry for my absense, sorta haven't been able to write much on this story, and I'm sorta stuck in it. But here is a little chapter to hold you over I guess. I would really like it if ya'll gave me some ideas on to where to go with this, as I am very stuck. Also would like to make it interactive with you the readers (: Well, on to the story.

Rescue Me - Chapter 4

Candy Castle (Bonnibel's Sleeping Quarters)

Bonnibel stood in front of her friends Finn, Jake, Lumpy Space Princess, and Lady Rainicorn, going over her plan to rescue Marceline. She had informed the group the night before, that she would be needing them for something big. When the group had arrived, they were surprised to see that Marceline had not been there. Now that they knew of the past events, they were in a somewhat shocked silence. Never had they known of Marceline ever giving up or giving in. Never had they thought that they would be saving the vampire, ever.

Though Bubblegum had told them of the vampire's doing, she had left out the parts where Marceline confessed her love for her, and her driving her away. That was information that they didn't need to know; not yet, anyways.

Finishing up, Bubblegum silently walked over to her closet, and opened it. Digging through her things, she pulled out a suit made out of a shiny material, then a couple of gadgets that she had been working on through the wee hours of the night. Without a word, she walked into her in-room bathroom, and began to get dressed.

Everyone stayed silent, awaiting for the girl's return. Even Finn, the usual loud and bubbly boy, kept quiet; that's how serious things were being taken.

When Bonnibel emerged from the bathroom, she was dressed in the suit with her gadgets attached to different spots on the suit. Her face was void of any emotion, only a reflecting determination in her eyes. She need not speak as everyone knew what they were about to do. It was most likely going to be a dangerous "adventure" as Finn would call it, and they knew the risks, but they were going to get Marceline out of this; even at the cost of their own lives.

(Marceline)

"Oh... Oh no.." she backed away slowly, not taking her eyes off of the now known figure. "W-why are you here?.."

Stepping forward, a woman of the exact same features of that of Marceline, stared back at the younger girl. She seemed to be an exact yet older copy of Marceline, only her eyes were an emerald green instead of a burning crimson red. "My daughter, I am here to 'rescue' you, as they say. Though it is more of saving you from your own stupidity." She rolled her eyes with a slight scoff.

Marceline now looked at her in disbelief. "Well I don't NEED your-" She was cut off by her mother's hand colliding with her cheek. This sent her falling to the floor with all the force that had been behind the hit.

"You insolent child! Don't you speak to me in that sort of tone! I am your mother, not your friend! Now you will take my help." She then floated over to Marceline's body, and effortlessly picked her up into her arms. "Now, let's go."

"No! Put me down! Let me go!" She struggled in her mother's hold, trying to break her stone hard grip.

"Would you just accept my help for once!?" Her mother growled in frustration. "I know I screwed up long ago, but it's in the past! Let me at least try to make it up to you!"

Marceline ceased her movement, but went stiff in her mothers hold. "...fine... Just let me down okay?!" she glared at her mother. "I'm not a child!"

Her mother grunted in response, before letting her grip loosen to let her daughter fall to the ground with a thud.

"Ow!" Marceline hissed.

"Well, you said to let you go. So I did." her mother smirked.

The young Vampire Queen just glared back at her older reflection, not wanting to get any further into a new argument. "Let's just go." she mumbled.

"That's what I thought." the older Abadeer replied, the smirk never leaving her lips.

A ripple in space was then seen, and a glowing blue light emitted from the open space. Floating into it, both women then vanished, the vortex closing up. What went unnoticed by the two though, was the figure that followed in behind them just as the vortex closed.

"This is going to be fun." its raspy voice whispered. Two Abadeer's in my grasp... Oh what power I will have. What I will do... hahaha yessss..." He then looked at his hand, a seeing glass appearing in his palm. It was cloudy, no picture appearing. "...Well... It looks as if we will just have to see how things play out. Maybe I will be able to add a third Abadeer to my collection... Oh the power.." he chuckles, a dark smirk crawling across his face. "Things are about to get interesting."
