First, off, I want to say that I'm SO sorry! I wanted to work on this, I really did! I lost the plans for it, spent MONTHS trying to find them, gave up, and had to try to remember everything I planned on happening all over again. Then I forgot Ikose's name. BLECH! x_x Again, my apologies.

Disclaimer: I do not own DBZ or The Possession. I don't even own some of the ideas in this (the future ideas, anyways), because they come from the movie. There's still originality, since this time the possessed isn't even human. Just know that there's Possession spoilers.

A few minutes after that weird episode with Goten, he and his opponent, Ikose, walked onto the mat, with the latter taunting the demi by his side. As soon as the two challengers were present, the announcer got up on the ring.

"Are our contestants ready?" He noticed the black box in Goten's arms. "Hey, kid. You should probably leave that with your parents so that it doesn't break." Goten blanched.

"What?! No, I don't wanna break it! I'll go give it to mommy right now!" With that, he flew up to the audience to where Chichi was.

"What are you doing?!" Trunks muttered under his breath. "You know we're not s'posed to use our powers!"

Goten was completely oblivious, as usual, to the stares and gapes he was receiving. As he handed his box to Chichi, he muttered, "Don't let anybody break it, mommy. And don't look inside it, either." As soon as his confused mother had a firm hold on the worn object, he flew back down to the ring, awaiting his match. Ikose and the announcer both took a couple minutes to recover as Trunks facepalmed.

The announcer grabbed a handkerchief from his pocket and dabbed at his brow. "A-a-alright, our ch-challengers appear ready." He quickly stepped off the mat. "Challengers, BEGIN!"

Ikose raised his fists in the air in some sort of... stance. Goten got into his own stance, similar to Gohan's, but his movements were almost mechanical. Gohan noticed immediately.

"Hey, dad. Does something seem... I don't know, off about Goten?"

Goku scratched his head. "Yeah, I see whatcha mean. I didn't know if that's because he's young, but now that you mention it, something definitely seems wrong."

Back in the ring, Ikose ran at Goten like a headless chicken, his arms flailing around him senselessly. As he tried to land a punch, Goten easily caught it, as well as the other fist that came his way. He simply shoved Ikose off the mat, earning him a victory by ring out.

"...Well," said the announcer, "that concludes our first match, I guess. Goten wins by ring out!" Most of the audience just clapped politely, while others looked on, amazed at his strength. I mean, he did push a kid twice his age out of the ring from the very middle.

As Goten walked back to where the other junior contestants were, Trunks ran up to meet him. "Goten, what the heck was that? You didn't even fight him!"

Goten shrugged. "Yeah, so? He wasn't strong at all. It wasn't worth it."

"He wasn't worth it?!" Trunks repeated. "I thought you liked playing with your opponents! I mean, if you'd played with him, he woulda had more fun, too!"

"Well, he wasn't fun anyways."

The lavender demi gaped at Goten, his usually cheerful and clueless best friend, as he stated that he just didn't feel like fighting Ikose. "Goten, are you sure you're alright? You don't seem like yourself at all."

Goten tugged at his hair. "I don't know! I don't feel sick or nothin'! And I know I don't hafta worry about my box, but I can't help it! I just wanna get this over with so I can have my box back!" The poor chibi seemed on the brink of tears.

"So, what you're sayin' is that you just wanna hurry up so that you can have your box back?" Goten nodded. The lavender demi let out an exasperated sigh. "Really Goten! Ever since you saw that thing you've been acting so weird! All you talk about is that box! All you think about is that box! Well, knock it off! It's just a filthy box that that phony used ta have! Just forget about it for two seconds and fight the friggin' matches!"

Goten's reaction was... unexpected, to say the least. His fists began to shake, one eye was twitching, and he was glaring at Trunks with something akin to... hate? No, it couldn't be. Goten didn't hate him, right? Of course not! Not over a stupid ancient box. But as soon as the reaction started, it ended, with Goten gazing at him calmly.

"Okay. I'll try." He then went to the small slitted window to watch the fight between some tribe kid and a junior Taekwondo student, and the tribe kid was winning so far. Trunks just gaped at him, dumbfounded.

"...Okay, what the hell was that?"

Yeah, yeah, I know. Way too short of a chapter for a 9-month or so wait. I'm really sorry. But this was the best place to end it, and if I kept going, the chapter would have been much longer than the other one. I want to at least keep them at similar length. I hate irregular chapters. This one was too short, but for me it's better than making it WAY too long, making you wait longer, and probably forgetting about it again before putting up another chapter. I hope you can all forgive me for this and not updating sooner. So... See y'all in A Big J Parody! Jaane!
