Okay, so I have a new chapter just for you guys! Here's the thing though, my partner in crime asked me what I was doing to JR and I told her. I was exploring the playful side that we've all witnessed(especially if we've been watching for a while) from him. He's not always scowling and he has potential to be a good guy if he could get over himself for a while. So with that in mind, we're going to say that being single has been good for him for now.
Here's my question to all of y'all: Do you think it's too weird or does it really matter as long as we get some Minx?
When it comes to texting; bold will always be the other person(Kendall, JR, Marissa, etc) and italicized will always be our lovely Bianca.
"Bianca," came out as a sigh. Bianca looked down at the face below her, pure ecstasy written on her features. She brought one hand up, cupping a soft pale cheek as she bent her head. "Mm," the moaned response and Bianca felt herself responding in kind. Blunt nails came up to scratch across her shoulder as a head lifted, wanting more contact. Bianca moaned into the soft lips, biting the one she held captive between her teeth.
"You are so beautiful." she gasped into the mouth below her own. She felt lips quirk and legs shifting before hips bucked and she was on her back. A curtain of auburn hair surrounded her as eyes that bordered on being hazel gazed down at her, "I.." her words escaped her and the face above hers smirked. Marissa dipped her head, licking along the shell of Bianca's ear before she brought her lips closer.
Whispering, "I want to be inside of you." she said, her hand already blazing a trail of fire along Bianca's skin. "I want to make you forget everyone before me." she said dropping a kiss below Bianca's ear. She flipped her hair over her shoulder, moving to Bianca's other ear, "I want you to know that you belong to me." Marissa husked. Bianca was overcome with desire and could only moan. "And I belong to you." she finished just as her fingers entered tight wetness. Bianca gasped at the sudden intrusion and lifted her hips to meet Marissa's teasing fingers.
"I love you." she gasped out. Marissa smiled affectionately, keeping the slow rhythm,
"I lo-"
Bianca woke with a start at the ringing coming from beside her head. Her entire body lurched as she blinked hard at her pillow, wondering why her body was so sore. She began to sit up, intending to answer her phone and see who was interrupting her sleep but gasped when she shifted her legs. She noticed that she was sensitive and it felt like she could use another pair of underwear and that's when she remembered her dream. She bit her lip, wanting to scream in frustration but instead only let out a pained groan. She flopped onto her back, glaring at the ceiling and waiting until the ache between her legs subsided. Something told her this was going to be a long day. Glancing over at her bedside clock, she groaned louder. It was only five am.
Marissa paced back and forth along the living room of her apartment. She knew it was crazy, but she needed to speak to Bianca. She also knew it was a bit early but a few months ago before she moved, Bianca had let it slip that she was more often than not awake at five am. The only downside it seemed was that those moments came randomly and while one week, she would be up as soon as the clock struck four thirty and be up for the rest of the day, there were some days when she could sleep peacefully until six. Marissa figured it was one of those days and sighed as she tossed her cellphone onto her sofa.
She glanced over at her side table, smiling at the picture that greeted her. She was still sure Bianca didn't even know she had it. She'd taken it one day at the park, Bianca was kneeling on the ground, getting a pair of jeans dirty as she situated herself in the dirt between AJ and Miranda. She was explaining something while the two children had amazed looks on their faces. It wasn't until Marissa had used the zoom on her camera phone that she noticed Bianca had a caterpillar in the palm of her hand. She held it up, face looking intently at it with a hand on AJ's back as Miranda leaned in. AJ was resting a hand on Bianca's shoulder, his finger pointing in the direction of the insect and Marissa could only imagine what was being said. She remembered turning to Gabby, who was happily sitting with her on the bench, seeming as carefree as the day was long and her heart jumped into her throat. It was the first moment that Bianca was so much more than her best friend.
Picking the picture up, she ran her thumb across the frame she'd immediately put it in and smiled at Bianca's face. She moved to another one, one of her and Gabby sitting on the floor. She couldn't help the smile that graced her as she watched herself sit with the little girl between her legs, book in front of them as they read along together. Her heart ached a little; she missed those girls. She missed her girls even though she knew she had no claim to them. Any of them.
Her eyes settled on a final picture: just her and Bianca. One of the kids had taken it but it was one of the best pictures she'd ever been a part of. She remembers they were watching a movie, some comedy and Bianca had gotten comfortable enough to lay her head in Marissa's lap. Marissa had naturally started playing with Bianca's hair and reveled in the silkiness of it. Something had happened on screen and Bianca had scrunched her face up, looking up at Marissa making Marissa chuckling. She'd scrunched her own nose a little and leaned down. From the angle it was taken, it'd looked like she was going to kiss Bianca even though at the time, it hadn't been on her mind. Recently it was all she could think about.
She jumped when her phone rang,
"Marissa? Are you okay?" it was the first words out of Bianca's mouth as soon as she picked up. She smiled,
"Yeah, yes, I'm fine." she said slowly. She heard Bianca breath in relief,
"Is AJ okay?" forever the worrier. Marissa felt her face about to split as she listened to the sound of Bianca's soothing voice,
"Everyone is fine. I just...I'm sorry I called so early." she said sitting on the sofa. She imagined Bianca in front of her, shaking her head and offering a smile,
"Don't be. I told you to call me anytime and I meant it." she said. Marissa pulled her feet under her, grabbing a pillow.
"I had this dream where I couldn't save you." she whispered finally. She could tell Bianca was frowning,
"From what?" she asked curiously. Marissa heard rustling and assumed Bianca was getting out of bed.
"I don't know." she said with a frustrated sigh at herself. "It was...you were asking me for help and I couldn't pick up on it and then when I realized what had been in front of me the entire time, it was too late." she said finally. Bianca was silent on the other end, absorbing what Marissa had just told her,
"Well I'm fine and you don't have to worry." she said confidently. "besides, you're too protective of me and the girls to not pick up on something being wrong." Bianca added as almost an after thought.
"I miss you. I miss them." Marissa told her, her voice soft. There was a pause and a softly spoken,
"We miss you too." Marissa sat silently, listening to Bianca breath on the other line. "Do you have your laptop near you?" Bianca asked suddenly. Marissa glanced over,
"Yes. What's up?" she asked. She could practically hear the wheels turning in Bianca's head.
"Meet me on Skype in five minutes?" she asked hopefully. Marissa brightened,
"I'll see you there." she said happily.
"Girls! Time for video call!" Bianca called up the stairs. It would be her second time seeing Marissa today, the first time occurring early that morning as they both accidentally fell asleep with the call going. There was something different about the way this morning happened, different from any other video/phone call that had ever happened between them but she couldn't pin point it. When she heard feet thundering down the stairs, she figured she'd think about it later.
–
"Hey Ms. Bianca!" AJ's excited voice greeted as soon as she answered the video call. She grinned at him as Gabby settled into her lap,
"Hey, AJ. Where's Mom?" she asked. AJ pointed off to the side and turned his attention to Miranda and the two began to chatter away, Gabby joining in occasionally. It warmed her heart to see the three of them so close, knowing that AJ and Miranda hadn't left Gabby out of anything despite her being younger than them. Almost an hour passed before she saw Marissa's smiling face and by then, she was talking animatedly to the girls. Before ten pm hit, Bianca regretfully ended the call to put the girls to bed. After getting them tucked in and settled down, she moved to her own room, intent on getting some more work done but her phone buzzed. She glanced over at it, laughing at the message:
What are you wearing?
She shook her head at her friend, he was something else she'd give him that.
Nothing.
Aw, c'mon, put some clothes on!Shame!
She chuckled again, only imagining his goofy face as he texted her while no doubt bothering Marissa.
How are you anyway?
I'm fine. Birthday party tomorrow. Oh for joy.
It could be fun. Of course, it'll never live up to Pine Valley standards, but what can you do? -
that's true. What's going on there?
The usual. Somebody's missing again. Somebody's getting a divorce. Someone slept with someone's sister.
it's moments like that when I miss home. The most scandalous thing that's happened here was someone got the wrong mail.
The inhumanity!
I know. Hey, how is Marissa doing?
She seems alright but a little out of it. She said she had a strange dream but didn't elaborate. What do you know?
Basically the same. Keep an eye on our girl?
Of course. If I do, can we get remarried?
Bianca did laugh at that one.
Of course not.
C'mon, we were good together!
We were seven. And I left you for Tiffany Calloway during recess the next day.
Damn girl and her fruit roll-ups.
Goodnight, JR.
Goodnight, Bianca.
"Alright girls, be good." Bianca said smiling down at her girls. The two smiled back up at her, intending to listen to her. The door opened and Bianca was greeted by a relieved looking Sam,
"Thank god you're here!" he said ushering her and the girls inside. Bianca looked at him confusedly as he told the girls they were free to go play in the living room with the rest of the kids.
"Is something wrong?" she asked. He nodded solemnly.
"Yes. There are a bunch of women here talking about nothing but make-up and other things I have little interest in. At least you pretend to listen when I talk about rugby." he said. She laughed a little, almost used to his dramatics.
"Well, I'm glad I could be here to save you from...the women." she said finally. He grinned,
"Oh, don't worry. I know you're still one of them but you're the cool kind. You adapt to whoever you're around." he said curiously. She shrugged a little,
"I come from a very diverse town." she offered. He shrugged, about to lead her to the table that contained the fruit juice but his doorbell sounded again.
"Excuse me." he said moving to the door. She nodded, passing Jennie with a smile and a touch to her shoulder as she put down the little gift she and the girls had brought.
"Bianca!" she heard her name and turned around smiling at Sam and his friend. "Bianca, this is Steven Harris, Aiden's dad." he said pointing to a dark haired little boy that was talking to Miranda and Gabby. "Steven, this is Bianca. She's the Montgomery girls' mom." he said introducing them.
"Hey, it's nice to meet you." Bianca said shaking his hand. Steven let out an easy going smile, shaking her hand,
"As is you." he said with a half bow. Sam rolled his eyes, elbowing Steven,
"Forgive him. He's a ham." he said affectionately at his friend. Bianca chuckled shaking her head,
"So is my best friend." she said apologetically. Sam chuckled, moving beside her and getting some juice. She turned, striking up a conversation with Sam trying to explain hockey to him. She missed the look Steven sent her
