Alright, this is it guys! It's the end! The final chapter. Why must the good die young? Ok! Now that I'm done spiraling, let's-a-go! (This is the last time I can say this)

Z is for Zebra
Mario and Luigi were running through the grassy fields of World 1. They stopped when Mario came across a ? Block. He smiled and jumped up, intending to hit it, but he missed and ended up hitting his head. Luigi laughed and pointed as Mario rubbed his head. "What gives?" Mario asked while glaring at the block, "Something's supposed to pop out of it by now." Luigi's laughter had died down to giggles as he retorted, "Maybe you didn't hit it hard enough." Mario glared at Luigi and stuck his tongue out. Luigi started laughing again, but stopped when Mario grabbed him and threw him into the block. Luigi whined and held his head in his hands, "What was that for, bro?!" Mario smirked, "So you would stop laughing at me of course." Luigi was about to say something else, until a little black and white horse, a zebra, appeared before them. The Bros. stared at it as an awkward silence took over. During the silence, Luigi smiled and jumped up, reaching out to pet it. As soon as his hand touched the zebra's nose, the zebra's eyes turned red. It glared at the Bros. as smoke vented from it's nose. It then charged at Mario and Luigi, who in turn ran like their lives depended on it. They ran so fast in fact, that their hats fell off of their heads and got trampled into the dirt by the zebra. While running, Mario yelled, "You just had to pet it, didn't you Luigi?" Luigi wailed back, "Yes! It looked so cute and I thought it was friendly!" They started running faster as Mario retorted, "Yeah, he's friendly alright!" And the Bros. continued running all the way to the end of World 1.
It was world 8, and Mario and Luigi were still running away from the zebra. Well, more like an entire herd of zebras. Bowser's Castle could be seen over the molten horizon. Mario pointed at the castle, "Hey Luigi! I have an idea!" Luigi, who was panting yelled, "I'm all ears! Especially if I can stop running!" Mario looked back at the castle, "We'll lose them at Bowser's Castle!" Luigi cheered but then wondered, "But what about Bowser? Won't he mind if we bring in a herd of angry zebras?" Mario laughed and scoffed, "Who cares about Bowser? Come on, let's a go!" Mario began to run even faster, getting ahead of Luigi. The herd followed him all the way to Bowser's with Luigi in tow. Mario and Luigi managed to break into the castle and ran towards Bowser's throne room. At the last second, the Bros. made a sharp right turn into a large room. Once the entire herd was inside the room, Mario and Luigi quickly ran out and barricaded the door, panting heavily. When everything calmed down, the Bros. high-fived each other and walked out of the castle. Luigi stretched and wondered, "So how do you think Bowser will take his new pets?" Mario grinned and put his hands behind his head, "Who knows. But at least it's not our problem anymore." The Bros. high-fived each other again and walked in the direction of the Mushroom Kingdom.
Bowser was just returning from his evening walk and was making his way back to his throne room. As he walked through a corridor, he heard banging coming from one of the doors. He turned towards the door with a questioning look, "What the-" His question was cut off as the doors opened and a million angry zebras stormed out, tackling Bowser into a sea of black and white stripes. Though muffled, he yelled out, "Mario Bros.!" as he struggled to get free. Somewhere in the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Luigi high-fived each other while laughing at the prank they pulled on poor Bowser.
Well, that's it guys. My fanfic is done. Hope you all liked it, cuz I sure had fun! (rhyming skills!) Anyway, just wanna thank everyone who reviewed, followed, favorited, and most importantly, read the story. Even if you clicked on it by accident and read it anyway. I got some awesome ideas from you guys, and, while I'm sad it's over, all good things must come to an end I guess. Hey, who knows. There could be a season 2 (wink wink) Thanks again guys! (waves)
