Another quick, sorry it's so short, update! I'm not sure how I feel about the chapter but it's moving things along which is good so I think I'm fairly content with it. Also, thank you all so so much for your continued support. I know I say it a lot but it means so much to me that you all are being so patient with me while I write this little adventure for our girls

By the time Friday night hit, Steven had only seen Bianca once more and it was really starting to bother him. He hadn't done anything to upset and it seemed like she was avoiding him. That day on the train he'd saw her but she'd gotten off a stop early before he could speak to her. He turned over in his bed, looking at his clock that glared back at him 11:58 pm and sighed. Maybe he would see her this weekend and get to the bottom of this.

Bianca dashed through the house Friday night, looking for her guest bedding that she was going to need for the upcoming weekend.

"Okay I've got," she looked around. "Coffee in stock." She ticked off. "Work phone is set aside for emergencies," she added. "Now if I could just find tha- ah ha!" she cheered quietly finding the intended bedding and making up the guest last guest bed. She wasn't sure how it was going to work, because she only had two gets rooms and one of them really wasn't a bedroom at all, but she would figure it out.

"Will you- ow, move!" Marissa glared at JR and elbowed him in the ribs. He hunched over slightly, moving to the side with a slightly red face. Kendall snickered.

"Guess Red really misses Binx." She said with a grin. JR just nodded, blowing out a pained breath.

"Oh yeah, she misses her best friend." He sneered a little. Marissa looked back with a glare before finishing down the stairs and moving faster. When Bianca finally came into view, she squealed and ran for her, hugging her tightly. Bianca chuckled.

"I missed you too!" she said wrapping her arms around Marissa's waist and inhaling subtly. Marissa smiled, her cheek pressed firmly to Bianca's shoulder as she swayed a little. She glanced up and smiled even brighter.

"Well hey you two!" she pulled away and opened her arms for Miranda and Gabby. Bianca smiled as Kendall and JR made their way to her and looked over their shoulders.

"Hey!" she exclaimed hugging them both. "Where's mom? And Greenlee?" she asked. Kendall smiled at her little sister,

"Well Mom couldn't make it, last minute meetings. She sends kisses so," she leaned forward and kissed Bianca's cheek quickly. "Greenlee is on Fusion duty and before you ask, the boys are with Zach." She said. Bianca pouted a little but then perked up when she felt arms around her waist.

"Hey, AJ! I've missed you too." She said hugging the little boy. He grinned up at her, "Well c'mon guys, let's go home." She said.

"Not bad," JR said looking at the house intently. "Not bad at all." He finally admitted. Bianca smiled wryly,

"Thank you, oh wise one, for your approval." She said dryly. He sniffed.

"Yeah, well, it pained me to give it." he joked. She chuckled; hanging back and looking at the girls interact with AJ, Marissa and Kendall. "We miss you." He said softly. Bianca hummed to herself,

"I can't lie, I miss you all too." She said just as softly. "But I think I'm finding my way here. I'm starting to feel…less crazy." She said waving her hand. He nodded in understanding.

"I get that," he said putting his hands into his pockets. When Marissa looked up at the two of them, she smiled at Bianca and tilted her head a little. It wasn't the smile, but the way she smiled that made him smile as well. "But wouldn't it be better to be crazy if you saw that every day?" he asked. Bianca, who'd been busy staring at Marissa, shrugged.

"It would." She admitted. "Until I slowly began to lose my mind." She turned her eyes to him slowly. He let out a deep breath.

"As long as you're promising you'll eventually come back home." He said finally. She hesitated then shrugged.

"We'll see." JR didn't like the almost resigned tone of her voice.

"I really can't believe she burned the pancakes!" Marissa laughed as she and Bianca made their way through the store the next morning. Bianca chuckled, happy to be spending time with her best friend.

"Well, I thought you knew Kendall couldn't really cook…" she trailed off. That morning, Kendall and Marissa had attempted to make breakfast and it hadn't ended all that well. In the end, Bianca swore Kendall was out to get her spotless kitchen and Kendall sulked while the adults laughed and cleaned up the mess. By the time they finished, Kendall had declared that she was ready to put the trauma behind her and take the girls and AJ to the zoo. Thankfully, JR had volunteered to go with them and she and Marissa had decided to grab some things from the store.

"How would I?" Marissa asked with a grin. Bianca just shook her head, pushing her cart and humming to herself. She stopped to do a quick inventory of her cart but smiled when she saw two hands on either side of her. "Strawberry or blueberry?" Marissa asked shaking the two pop-tart boxes. Bianca turned her head, looking down at Marissa who looked absolutely comfortable with her arms trapping Bianca to the cart.

"Well, we're firm strawberry girls in our house." She said. Marissa smirked a little, leaning closer to Bianca.

"I thought so," she said. "Even though I still think that blueberry is better." She said with a playful grin. Bianca chuckled, shaking her head.

"Oh you just want a reason to have something different from me." She joked. Marissa scrunched her nose.

"I don't know," she began. "We want a lot of the same things." She said her voice suddenly quiet.

Steven turned the aisle, scratching his eyebrow in annoyance. Aiden had woken up in a bad mood and it had only gotten worse when he'd dropped the boy off at his grandmother's house. Now he had a headache and his heart was hearting from not seeing Bianca lately. Unfortunately for him, when he turned the aisle for some oatmeal, he saw Bianca further away with some redheaded woman and they looked a little too close or his comfort. The way Bianca was smiling softly and leaning down toward her, the way the redhead had one of her hands resting on Bianca's hip and the other on the cart. He clinched his jaw in anger; Bianca should have been looking at him that way. Instead she'd been spending the rest of the week avoiding him just to show up in public with this woman? He shook his head angrily and turned his cart to leave the aisle; he didn't have time for that right now.
