You headed up to the bar, and signaled the bartender for another beer. While standing there, you felt eyes on you, and looked to your left. A man with short blonde hair was looking you up and down, and grinning lecherously the whole time. He caught you looking and winked, remarking, "Hey baby girl, are you an alien? Cause your ass is out of this world."

Barely containing your revulsion, you leaned away and calmly told the man, "Sorry, not interested."

He persisted, though. "Come on, I can show you a real good time, sweet cheeks."

"No. Please leave me alone."

"What's your problem? Just loosen up a little. Let's go back to my place and have a little fun."

By now he had you pushed with your back to the bar, arms on both sides of you to keep you from moving away. "I don't want to. Please, just leave me alone."

The man (you started to just think of him as "Jerk") opened his mouth to say something else, when a hand grabbed his shoulder. You both turned to see a giant of a man with long brown hair standing behind him, his eyebrows scrunched together in concern.

"Dude, just walk away," the tall man advised Jerk who still had you pinned to the bar.

Jerk looked Tall up and down then sneered at him, "Who're you? Her boyfriend or something?"

"No, I'm just saying something because she seems a little uncomfortable." Tall flicked his gaze to you. You met his eyes, trying to convey how worried you were getting about the chances that Jerk would let you leave without him.

Tall returned his gaze to Jerk as the shorter man scoffed. "She ain't yours, then butt the hell out."

As Jerk turned to continue to harass you, the hand appeared on his shoulder again and forcefully pulled him back away from you. You saw Tall there with anger in his eyes, moving to put himself between you and Jerk. "That's enough, man, just leave her alone."

Jerk stared at Tall with fury written across his face. Without warning, Jerk lashed out and punched Tall in the jaw. Tall stumbled back slightly, almost falling on you, as you heard the bartender yelling at Jerk to, "get the hell out of my bar!" Tall rubbed his chin as he turned to look at you. "Are you ok?" he asks.

"I-I'm," you stuttered, "I'm fine. How's your chin?"

Tall shrugged. "I've had worse."

When he shifted his hand to watch Jerk get thrown out by a couple big guys, you saw a purple bruise forming on his jaw, already slightly swollen. "You should get some ice on that." You turned to the bartender and asked him for some ice. When he handed it to you, you grabbed a napkin and wrapped the cubes it. Tall held out his hand for the little ice pack, and you dropped it in his hand.

Flinching slightly at the cold as he puts it on his face, Tall caught your eye again and said, "Thanks."

"No problem. I should be thanking you." You stuck out your hand for him to shake. "I'm Y/N, by the way."

Tall smiled as he shook your hand in his enormous one and replied, "Sam. Sam Winchester."

"So, Sam Winchester. Can I buy you a beer as a token of my gratitude?"

Sam chuckled, and looked at you with a twinkle in his eyes, answering, "Yeah, I think that'd be nice, Y/N."
