Chapter 13: something you want to say?
Gnomeo Pov: I recognised that voice, I turned around and saw Benny wearing a tuxedo like if he was invited to our wedding, no way was this happening on my wedding day I was about to charge at him but tybalt and Paris held me back (mostly tybalt) I saw Juliet's expression, it was a look of fright and sadness.
'What the he'll are you doing here?' I shouted in his face
'Honey take it easy,' Juliet said trying to calm me down
'How can I? He wants to ruin our wedding!' I yelled
'If you'd listen you'd know why I'm here' he shouted
'I don't want to hear anything from you! You jeopardized our friendship, you almost hurt my future wife I will seriously...'
'GNOMEO bite your toung!' Lady blueberry shouted as he kept quiet 'Benny I'm sorry but I'm going to have to ask you to leave'
'NO,not until I say what I came here to say' he stated
'Benny, let's go people are staring' Erika said behind him
'No I came here to tell you something, all of you' he said
'Is there something you want to say?' The preacher asked
Benny pov: Ok, now I was nervous, but I'm going to do it, it's now or never.
'I know what your thinking, you think I want to ruin this wedding and hope to get the girl of my dreams, well I'm not, I've already lost my best friend, I don't want to lose anybody else,' I turned to gnomeo 'You and I will always be cousins, but mostly you and I have been best friends since we were kids, I know I screwed up and I'm sorry, but you may be my best friend I never had what you had, a parent you can remember, your own accommodation and mostly the perfect girl. When I saw you with Juliet, it made me sad, because I never had what you got, a woman I love so I began having mixed feelings for you Juliet' I said turning to her 'the truth is...I didn't even know love was...until I met you' I said turning at Erika.
'You don't mean that' she said
'You bet your life I mean that, I never should have let you go, I should have fought for you because I love you, I love you so much I would risk my own life before I let anything happen to you, Erika I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you' I smiled, I got down on one knee and opened a blue box that held a beautiful silver ring.
'Erika, will you marry me?' I asked, I could hear gasps and awws all around me, I looked up at Erika who was crying with joy.
'OH BENNY, I THOUGHT YOU'D NEVER ASK!' she said bringing me into a hug as we kissed in heard the room applaud and cheering but I looked back at gnomeo and walked up him slowly.
'I'm so sorry about what I'd done, I hope you can forgive me for my actions,' I said, the next thing I knew he brought me in for a hug as I happily returned it.
'I know I didn't show it, but I missed you!' he said as I smiled
'I missed you too'
Then I turned at Juliet who was mostly the person I screwed up with.
'I'm sorry for my actions, especially the inappropriate part, you belong with Gnomeo, I know that now I hope you can forgive me for my unacceptable behaviour' I said
'Oh Benny, what you've done makes me forgive you, that was beautiful, of course I forgive you' she smiled kissing my cheek.
'Well now that that's sorted, I'm Preety sure I interrupted a wedding, so carry on' I smiled and went to sit by my new finance.
'Ok, let's move on to the vows' said the priest
Juliet pov: Gnomeo, before I met you, my life was boring, I was treated like some sort of delicate flower which was something I hated, but when I met you, you changed everything in my life, you made my father see I wasn't his little girl anymore, you made the entire red garden see that I wasn't some sort of delicate flower, but most importantly you gave me someone to love, and that person is you, I love you and I always will, I want you to know your one the most people in my life, before I met you, my life had no meaning, I was incomplete, I guess what I'm trying to say is... I love you Gnomeo, and I always will.' I smiled and saw loads of people crying.
'Wonderful, ok Gnomeo your turn.' he smiled
'Juliet you are so beautiful, your so kind, your so generous, your so wonderfully weird' he said, I giggled at that last part as did some of the audience,'everyday with you is an adventure, I want a marriage with you, have babies with you, grow old with you, I want to spend the rest of my days knowing I'm married to someone like you. 'I promise to protect you, to care for you and to love you, I will be ready for anything that comes into our lives and I will not let anything happen to you without a fight, Juliet, I love you. My girl, my princess, my gem, my friend, my Juliet' he smiled as I was now crying after Hearing all those romantic words.
'Ok, do you Gnomeo take Juliet as your lawful wedded wife, for better or for worse, for richer for poorer, for sickness and in health, till death do you part?' The priest asked
'I do' he smiled as I was still crying in happiness
'Ok, do you Juliet take Gnomeo as your lawful wedded husband, for better or for worse, for richer for poorer, for sickness and in health, till death do you part?' The priest asked to me
'I do' I smiled
'Well then, by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you, husband and wife, congratulations, you may kiss the bride'.
And just like that gnome pulled me by the waist and kissed me with so much passion, I couldn't even hear the applause we were getting from the crowd, we were the happiest couple in the world, plus i was so pleased for Benny and Erika, they were so meant to be.
'Congratulations Juliet' Erika said hugging me
'Congratulations to you too' I smiled
'Thank you'
'Lets see the ring then' I squealed as she showed me her hand with a beautiful ring on her finger, 'Oh my gosh it's gorgeous' I smiled
'Aww your so sweet' she smiled as we kept on talking.
Gnomeo pov: Everyone was coming over to me, congratulating me on my marriage, which didn't bother me at all. I saw Benny coming over to me as I greeted him.
'Hey man, you ok?' I asked
' Of course, I just got engaged' he smiled
'Well done, you did the right thing, I'm proud of you' I smiled
'Well I'm proud of both of you' Mum said coming from behind us.
'Thanks mum,' I smiled
'Ye thanks lady B' he smiled
'So, my son's married and my nephew's getting married, what a wonderful day this turned out to be,'
'I know it's been amazing' I sighed happily
'I'll leave you two to alone' Benny said walking away
'Gnomeo, there's something I have for you, but I won't give it to you if you don't want it,' she started
'What? What is it?' I asked as she took out an envelope
'It's from your father' she said as I was in a bit of a shock 'now what it is, he wrote it three weeks before he died, it's strict instructions to give to you on your wedding day' she smiled handing me the letter.
'I can't' I frowned
'You want me to read it for you?' she asked as I nodded, she opened it up and began to read.
'Dear Gnomeo, if you are reading this, it must be your wedding day, and if it is not, your mother has been very lazy and can't be trusted to do anything' she laughed as I did 'when I look back to the day you were born, I was the happiest man on the planet, I won't lie to you gnomeo, and this is fact but I cried, and I'd hope I would see you marry the love of your life and witness the marriage you and your wife will share, I may not be there with you but I am there in spirit, and whenever you need me I'll be listening...because you'll never stop being my beautiful baby boy, have a wonderful day my son, and I'll love you always, dad' she said through her tears as I started to have tears in my eyes as well.
'Wow' I sighed
'I know' she said 'I hope you liked it, because that was your wedding gift'
'I loved it' I smiled as I hugged her 'I love you mum' I smiled

5 hours later
We were having a awesome wedding party that went on for the whole night, Juliet and I didn't let each other out of our sights that was until I heard a beautiful voice on the microphone.
