Chapter 14: Best friends forever

Benny pov: I spend some time of the night hanging out with the guys, it was nice to be part of them again, after that incident with...You know, anyway as we were hanging out, Gnomeo made an announcement to us guys.

'Ok before I say this I just want to say, your all great friends to me and I couldn't ask for better people to hang out with' he smiled as we 'awwwed' at his comment

'I don't understand why your hanging out with us, this is your wedding day, you should be dancing with your wife or something' shroom bounced

'I know, but I want to do something first' he said as we listened in

'Benny, you've been my friend forever and I feel you should have been there by my side today, so what I'm trying to say is...Will you be my best man, it's not to late' he smiled, I was so honoured he'd take me back after what I'd done.

'Of course I would...but what about shroom? I thought he was your best man, or best mushroom' I laughed

'It's ok, he asked me earlier today if I was cool with this and of course it's ok, it was always your part to play in Gnomeo's life' he bounced

'Thanks buddy' I smiled, Gnomeo and I went to hang out with each other for a while together, now was the chance to ask him.

Erika pov: This was one of the best nights of my life! Here I am at a beautiful wedding, looking down at my hand, admiring the beautiful engagement ring my fiance gave me, I was so sure I was ready to become someone wife and I know Benny was gonna be a wonderful husband, I love him and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him, as I was thinking, the blushing bride came over and sat with me. I had to say, Juliet looked so beautiful in her dress.

The next thing I knew, I saw Gnomeo and Benny on the stage getting ready to sing, I don't know why but I was starting to get a very bad feeling about this but at the same time I thought this was gonna be sweet and funny.

'Hey everyone, both me and my best man would like to dedicate this song to our true loves' Gnomeo Saudi, I looked over at Juliet who started tearing up with happiness.

'Gnomeo would like to dedicate this song to his wonderful wife, Juliet and I'd like to dedicate this song to my fantastic finance, Erika,' Benny said and blew a kiss in my direction as I did the same. Suddenly both me and Juliet's face lit up as we both knew and love this song.

The entire garden applauded as me and Jules ran up on the stage to hug them, I was so lucky to have a man like Benny in my life, he was so wonderful and perfect, and I know we were gonna be very happy together. I love him just as much as Juliet loves Gnomeo. They were meant to be as was Benny and I, The funny thing was I never realised Benny could sing, well I guess I'm gonna have to get to know him all over again, that's something I look forward to, as I parted from Benny I went back to talk to Juliet.

'That was so sweet and romantic' she smiled

'I know, I didn't even know Benny could sing' I laughed

'Well he's got talent, I can tell you that'

'You've no idea' I said as we both bursted out laughing, as the laughter died down I spoke up again. 'Umm...Jules, do you mind if I ask you something?' I asked nervously

'Look, I know I haven't had the chance to get to know you since the feud ended and everything, but I just want to say that I think your a great friend and I wish the best of luck to you and Gnomeo' I started

'Awww thank you, your so sweet' she smiled

'And I was wondering how...would you feel...about...being my Maid of Honour?' I said as her jaw dropped

'Oh Erika, I would love to' she smiled and hugging me like crazy, as I did the same.

'Great thanks' I smiled, we went on talking for the rest of the evening, Juliet was such great hang, Gnomeo is such a lucky guy

'The boys really out do themselves tonight' Juliet laughed

'Ye, I just wish we could do something for them' I said

'Maybe we can' she smirked

'Somehow I just can't believe you' she said and pushing me on the stage, we both agreed to do a song we knew and loved and spoke into the microphones.

That song always put a smile on my face, I remember singing it to myself when I was a little girl, it was my mother's favourite song too (hint hint) as we finished we heard the garden clap and cheer for us, I felt so amazing at that point, I looked over at Juliet who had a big smirk on her face.

'What?' I asked

'Can't sing can you?' she said raising an eyebrow

'Ok, you've heard me and my wingman sing, you've heard my girl and my wingman's girl sing and now for all of us...together.' Gnomeo announced, after singing the first time, I felt confident to do it again, we huddled up until we came to a decision.

This had been the most beautiful and amazing day of my life, I got engaged and I'm getting married to the man that I love, I was so lucky and I looked up into the stars and thanked that my wish came true.
