"Haruhi! My precious daughter! Where have you been?" Tamaki gushed, running towards the only female Host with open arms. He grasped Haruhi tightly in a 'fatherly' hug, his grasp tightening around Haruhi's slender shoulders. He spun her around the room. His blonde feathery hair tickled her face which almost caused her to sneeze. She scrunched up her nose but a small smile played at the corner of her lips.

"I just went to the bathroom." Haruhi sighed, unamused with the way that the blonde was acting, "And don't call me your daughter!"

"No! I will call you my precious daughter because you are!" He cried, tears forming at the ends of his violet eyes. Tamaki sniffled, hoping that Haruhi would change her mind, but she only sighed again and tried untangle herself from Tamaki's arms. The lively blonde wouldn't allow her to go so he held her even tighter, but after struggling for awhile, Haruhi decided it was time to call for back-up.

"Mori-senpai? Can you help me?" Haruhi yelled across the room, in the direction of the tall host. Said teen was sitting at the window, staring out into the garden with one leg pressed up to his chest, while the other fell loosely, touching the floor. One of his arms was draped across his knee while his hand on the other arm, ran through his jet-black hair. He turned his head to see the female host being harassed by Tamaki. Without communication, his eyes had reassured the female host that he would.

Mori briskly walked towards the two and lifted Haruhi easily out of Tamaki's grasp, holding her delicately with such ease in a bridal style fashion. He carried her away, far from Tamaki. Haruhi jumped down from the tall man's arms, stumbling slightly but the tall teen steadied her by placing his hands on her slender shoulders. Haruhi looked up into Mori's gray eyes, smiling up at him which was responded with a small smile from Mori. He straightened up and ruffled Haruhi's hair affectionately. Haruhi blinked, a slight pink rising to her cheeks, which Mori didn't notice her slight blushing and strolled away, resuming his position at the window.

She stood in the middle of the room, not knowing what to do. Spotting a comfy looking chair, she strolled towards to it and plonked her self down, hoping to find a few moments of peace. But no sooner than had she closed her eyes, she felt someone breathe extremely close to her face. She peeked opened one eye and found herself eye-to-eye with the eldest host, soon openingother eye and smiled warmly.

"Haru-chan!" Honey beamed, "Want to eat cake with me?"

Honey plonked himself down on Haruhi's lap along with Usa-chan. Haruhi smiled and ruffled Honey's golden hair. It was so soft, so fluffy

"Of course, Honey."

"Yay!" Honey sang, his brown eyes sparkling, "Cake time with Haru-chan!"

Honey happily climbed down from the girl's lap and skipped away, searching for some delicious strawberry cake to share with Usa-chan and Haru-chan. Haruhi stretched and rose from her seat, but was then greeted by an arm that snaked around her waist and an arm that snaked around her shoulders. Hikaru rested his cheek against Haruhi's left cheek as Kaoru rested his head on Haruhi's right shoulder.

"Haruhi! We missed you!" The twins both said simultaneously. Hikaru tightened his grip around Haruhi's waist, his auburn hair tickling her nose. If this kept up Haruhi was sure she would end up sneezing on someone's face. Kaoru's hair slightly tickled Haruhi's neck, making her chuckle.

"What's so funny, Haruhi?" Kaoru asked, "You don't laugh so early in the morning." Haruhi lowered her eyes and looked at Kaoru, noting the confusion in his eyes.

"Your and Hikaru's hair is tickling me!" Haruhi breathed. She was trying her best not to laugh. She bit her lip, but a small chuckle was heard.

"Oh, you're ticklish Haruhi?" Hikaru smirked, "Kaoru and I never knew…" He looked to his twin, they both nodded. Both of them at the same time, untangled their arms from Haruhi's waist and shoulders. Their fingers both attacked her, tickling her lightly at her neck and stomach.

"Hikaru! Kaoru!" she laughed, "Please stop! I…can't…breathe…"

"Unhand her, you corrupt twins!" Tamaki yelled, rising from his corner, "Don't touch my precious daughter!"

Tamaki charged towards the twins, who stopped tickling Haruhi when they saw an upset Tamaki run towards them.

"Kaoru! Let's play chase with Tono. He's it!" Hikaru laughed, grabbing a surprised Kaoru by the arm, dragging him away from a speechless Haruhi.

Haruhi grumbled incoherently under her breadth, folding her arms across her chest, but she enjoyed spending time with them nonetheless. Seconds later, Tamaki zoomed past, almost grabbing Kaoru by his collar. Haruhi just stood there, taking in the scene in front of her and laughed. But the merriness of the situation was not long live, for ten seconds into the 'game', a couple of tea-cups fell from a table and shattered.

Haruhi felt a cold, hard hand on her shoulder. Slowly, she turned around, hoping it wasn't who she thought it was. Dread filled within her as she looked up to the taller person, his eyes glaring darkly at her. The brunette knew she was in trouble, even though nothing had been her fault. She shuddered in anticipation.

"Haruhi…" the shadow king said darkly, "This will be added to your debt." Kyoya pushed up his glasses as he stared at the girl, taking his small black notebook out from his blazer pocket. He quickly opened it halfway, and hurriedly scribbled something down into the neat pages.

"But, I didn't break them!" Haruhi argued, "They did." She pointed to the guilty trio who stood at the end of the room, cowering behind a now standing Mori.

"I don't care Haruhi." Kyoya responded coldly, "It will be added to your debt. End of."

Haruhi grumbled incoherently under her breadth yet again, her eyes locked on to the tip of her shoes. She sighed irrititably, muttering under her breath. "I hate all these damn rich people."

"I heard that Miss Fujioka!"

She sighed.

The early morning sun shone down steadily, adding more colour to Haruhi's already red cheeks. The slight wind, whipped at her hair as she ran through the town, taking lefts, rights, diagonals like in a maze. She rounded a corner and sprinted past a couple of shops, but as she did so, she noticed something.

Haruhi slowed down slightly, her sprint slowing into a walk. Was that Mori? She squinted her eyes, hoping to look behind the window. It was! What was he doing here so early? Mori looked up and caught Haruhi's gaze, his eyes widened as he blushed slightly. Haruhi widened her eyes in return but soon smiled. She waved at him and picked up her pace, believing that she would not see the black haired teen until later that day.

She rounded one more corner, looking to see if any cars were there, she ran across the road. She heard footsteps behind her and as she turned slightly, she saw Mori. She gave him a quizzical look and he shrugged in reply.

There was a faint noise of car at the end of the road, but she ignored it as she was almost across. But, a car sped around the corner of the street, swerving slightly and the headlights sped at her like a bullet. All she could see was the black paint of the car, speeding at her. She couldn't move. Mori reached for her but he was too late…

She flew through the air, finally landing a good few meters away. Her head banged against the cold ground, but her arms and school bag had softened the blow. Her eyes were getting heavier and heavier, blood pooling around her. She whined at the pain. A warm pair of arms shifted her body, letting her lean on the persons chest. Her eyes were almost closed, her vision red. Before she fell unconscious, she could see someone, Mori she believed, towering over her His gray eyes were full of concern and he was crying, or trying not to. Haruhi chuckled, for she had seen the day when the emotionless host shed a tear or two. He was saying something but Haruhi couldn't hear him, as all she heard was ringing in her ears.

"Haruhi… Haruhi… please!" He cried.
