As they arrived at school, Fred and George grinned at Ron and whispered
"One o'clock today! Don't forget!"
"How can I?" Ron thought.
Approaching his classroom, Ron saw Lavender stood all on her own and decided in a split second that he was going to go for it, be a man, ask her out… Ron, still smiling broadly, ran over to her and handed her the letter. As she opened it he stood in front of her fidgeting with his sweatshirt.
"Oh Ron," she said once she had finished the letter, "It's a very nice gesture but… I kind of already have a boyfriend. Sorry,"
"Oh it's okay" he muttered "Who's your boyfriend?"
"Draco Malfoy"
"HIM! Lavender listen to me, he is pure evil!"
"Who is Weasley?" drawled Draco as he approached them. "Who's pure evil?"
"You are and you know it! You are always pushing everyone around yelling! You are just a piece of shit!" yelled Ron. The whole of the playground fell silent. Ron gulped.
"Is that so? Hate to break it to you but your wrong Weasley." Everyone was listening
"I'm not wrong! And I'll prove it to you!" and he stormed off to the farthest corner of the field.
As the clock hit one o'clock Ron left everyone and went to find Fred and George. As he walked towards them, he ran over everything he had to do
"Sneak into the heads office through the window, unlock the door so Fred and George can get in and then…" he thought but he lost his trail of thought. Lavender was sat with Draco. Snogging him. "Little shit" he muttered under his breath. When he reached Fred and George, they said
"Hard luck…" and then went straight into the plans but Ron wasn't listening. His mind was stuck on images of Lavender. Lavender laughing, Lavender walking, Lavender talking and Lavender kissing…
"Have you got that Ron?" Fred said
"Yeah, I got it." He replied sadly
"Go then". As he walked off Fred said "He better do this right or we are in a LOT of trouble"
