Did you know that both Bill Nye and Benedict Cumberbatch both turned down the role of the 11th doctor?

I looked up to find myself looking at the Doctor-cyberplanner. I stood up, determined not to show my fear.

"Hello again, Kate." he said with a smile. "We just seem to keep running into each other, don't we?" he paused and waited for a response. I never gave one. "Do you know why we've brought you here Katherine?"

"Hell if I know." I snapped.

His eyes flashed. "We've brought you here because we've been scanning you. The issue is, we couldn't find anything. You weren't there. It was almost like you didn't exist."

I was surprised, but he didn't notice.

"Occasionally we would see a flicker where you were, just a blip for a millisecond. What I want to know is, what you are?" his eyes bored into me, but I never flinched.

"You know, you're the second person to ask me that in the past few days." I said, not portraying any emotion what so ever.

"But just because we can't scan you, doesn't mean you get a ticket out of being upgraded."

"That's what you think."

"Oh," he said with a look of surprise on his face as he stepped closer to me, "but it's true! Don't be ignorant. All along you've known you were going to join us, one way or another." the idea horrified me. "Because, you came here, you looked for us, it's almost like you wanted this to happen!"

"I would rather die."

"Isn't that it though?" he was yelling at me now, "everyone's so fixed, so Hell bent on not dying, that no one thinks 'what if I could live forever?'" he walked back over to me so that he and I were inches apart. His voice dropped to a whisper, "well, that's what we gave you, a chance;A chance to live forever. Immortality. And what do you do? You push it away, kicking and screaming." he stalked away from me like he was too disgusted to even look at me.

"You don't see it, do you?" I said. He stopped walking, but his back was still turned to me. "You say you're giving them immortality, and that that's all they'll ever want, but you're taking away, something that is one-of-a-kind. You're stealing their humanity."

"It doesn't matter anymore though. After that, my kind became forceful. It was the only way to keep living. And the same will happen to you that happened to the others. We'llupgrade you, and just like that, your humanity will slip away. Is it even that important if it can be taken that easily?" he sighed and the turned and clapped his hands together and put on a horrible smile. "But anyway, back to business. Thanks for that chat, so sorry we won't have one again. But you'll make a wonderful cyberplanner."
