The Doctor's Remorse

Ten years. That's how long it's been since I met him: The Doctor. Ten years since I saw that beautiful blue box, ten years since he asked me to help him, since we ran. Since we saved the world again, and then he left. I've missed him, but I had to move on. Some people have normal lives, and only a few are forced in. My name is Katherine, and I never expected to meet him again.

11. Chapter 11

Did you know that the 50th anniversary will be on the exact day of the week, day of the month, minute, hour and second and the original episode. this is the last update before the 50th, and I'll post more after. Allons-y!

Now the doctor stood up, "that's not possible!"

"Maybe you don't know as much as you thought you did. You may want to take a seat." she said to me. She sat down in front of me. "Let me explain."

"Before space and dimensions and everything, there was only time. Time is a living thing. When species evolved and civilizations grew, time watched over everything. Then the Time lords came. They communicated with time and we allowed ourselves to be put in a TARDIS. The soul of a TARDIS is pure time. Now, since the Time lords have all died out, time hasn't given itself away to anything. But something happened. The doctor remembers this, and so does River. There was one time, when time itself was ripping apart. It was chaotic. And during that time, someone stole an infant Time being. Let me back up. For the first amount of its life, Time is in a somewhat physical form. It is in a dimension all its own so it can't be seen. Then when it reaches a certain age, it moves to a, let's just say, higher form. But someone reached in and stole a baby Time. What they did with it was horrific. They forced the baby time to live inside of a human child. Because it was an infant, it didn't burn the human child up. That baby Time? That was you."

I felt like I was going to pass out. I was Time? This sounded crazy. After a couple minutes I spoke.

"Am I keeping the Time prisoner? Or the…human?"

"No! Because you were both so young, you merged together. It would be impossible to pull you two apart. There are no longer two entities but simply one."

I nodded. It was a bit much to take in.

"Here's where it gets bad. The Cyberman know about what you are. When they tried to upgrade you, they couldn't get into your mind."

"Yeah, I know, I was there. Something took over my body, but it felt like I was still in control."

"Why did you need us in here?" the Doctor asked.

"Thought you might as well know. I mean, you are a Time lord."
