It was official. I hated English. But no hating just the language wasn't enough for the fates, no I had to hate the class as well. Though it was a bit drastic to say I hated the class, to be more specific I hated detention for the class. Detention that I was currently serving thanks to Joker, and who do we have to blame for that? The nimwit that allowed Joker into a school that boasted of how great it's security was.

"Can I be done?" I whined in my best impression of Barbara Gordon.

"How's your essay going?" 'Mr. Kerr' asked me.

"My names on it."

"And?"

"That's it."

"Well then, no you are not done. I told you that you had to write a paper on why you were wrong today in class, if you have not done that then you cannot leave."

"Ah yes but to complete the task I must have done something wrong and I don't see how I did. Its purely illogical of me to even be able to complete the essay." I smirked.

"You know what you did, write about it." He matched my smirk with his grin.

"Actually I don't." I countered.

"You were listening to music while I was talking-"

"I'm fluent in American Sign Language which at the time was interpreting your every word, I knew what was going on."

"You then proceeded to sing whatever punk song you were listening to-"

"It was Welcome to the Black Parade, it is more then a punk song, it is art."

"You were chewing gum during class-"

"Was I bothering anyone? No."

"You were rude and talked back-"

"I hardly think pointing out how you were wrong about the book is considered talking back.'

"And you are extremely disrespectful."

"See Mr. Kerr you know what I did, what's the point in the essay? Or at least for me to write it?" I asked somewhat innocently.

"You must see the error of your ways."

"That's rich." I muttered, the irony of the situation getting to me.

"What was that?" He asked rather darkly.

"Nothing Mr. J."

"I told you not to call me that." He snapped, almost sounding like his normal self.

"I could call you worse." Harley has many nicknames, repulsive though they may be, I can use. For once I was thankful for Harley Quinn.

"I highly doubt that." Looks like someone else loves her too.

"Wanna bet?"

"I am not having this conversation with a student. Now write."

"No."

"Excuse me?"

"Nien."

"What?"

"Nu." I began picking up my things.

"Where do you think you are going?" He stared at me.

"Home." I got up and headed for the door.

"I haven't said you could go."

"Yeah well forget you. I don't have time for men that wear too much make up. Hell I don't have time for women who wear too much makeup." I left the room without a second thought.

I headed down the hall and to the closest girls restroom. Once inside I saw my brother, Dalyn, and Wally, though all of them were in uniform. "So weird being in the girls room." Wally shuddered.

I rolled my eyes and went into the nearest stall. I closed the door, locked it, hung my backpack on the hook and began to pull my uniform out. I took off my school clothes and started pulling on the dark, skin tight Kevlar pants. Then went on my dark purple tunic, similar to Robin's, minus the self proclaiming R. I preferred a plainer suit. I placed my black mask on, identical to Robin's (Bats said I promoted unity..), and my black on the outside, lime green on the inside cape (I had won that battle with Bruce) and snapped on my utility belt, complete with Sparrow tattoo in the center.

I left the stall and stashed my bag in one of the air vents, not good for health reasons but eh YOLO right? I reached into the left side pocket of my belt and pulled out my special, more easily concealed CI's that I could hide with my hair, even when it was put up. I took off the rather large ones and put the smaller sleek ones in. I then pulled my hair up and wrapped the hair band around it.

"Ready to do spy stuff?" I asked the group.

"Spy stuff!" KF punched the air. I smiled at the legal adult in front of me, then looked to Robin for the game plan.

"Frequency and I will go outside and find his car, attach cameras, and put bugs anywhere that would be helpful."

"They shall also be making out." I whispered to Wally, who stifled a laugh. We both received a modified batglare before Rob continued his plan.

"Now, the rest of the team will be here in an hour to investigate so KF and Sparrow will need to get out of the vents in time for us to regroup and KF and Frequency to meet up with everyone else. Understand?" He finished. We all nodded and parted to attend to our specific jobs.

I grabbed KF and pulled him to the hallway the English room was on. "Change of plans. You go to the vents, I'm following Joker. If Rob asks where I am say that I got sick and would have blown our cover if I'd stayed." I left KF and headed for the front door. The real job now was simply staying out of my brothers way until Joker left. The team would only be looking for files tonight so I was safe from them, but Rob? If he saw me he would follow me, ruin my plan, tell Bruce, and then yell at me. All of which I wished to avoid. I made it to the door and began circling the school, as I had no idea which exit Joker would use.

After an hour of waiting I saw Robin leaving, good. Now all I had to do was hide from the team and follow Joker. Who I also had to hide from. On pain of death most likely. I began singing Thnks Fr Th Mmrs in my head, trying to pass the time. And keep myself awake. But mostly pass the time.

After yet another hour of waiting, and close calls with the team, Joker left and I was able to follow. He led me to the darker part of town, the place I used to call home. A few creepy alleys and three drug dealers later and we arrived at the Joker's current hideout. I rolled my eyes at the stereotypicalness of the hideout and followed him inside.

I stayed pressed against the wall, hoping against hope that he wouldn't see me. He threw the wig on a desk in the corner opposite from me, and went into another room off to the side. I heard running water for a few minutes and then it shut off and emerged the Joker we all hate. Without his pale make up he looked much more normal to me. Gotta love it when scars, red lips, and literally white face are normal.

He sat down at the desk and began writing something, his brow furrowed. "HARLEY!" He screamed suddenly. making me almost jump in shock. Harley ran into the room looking flustered, and quiet honestly, scared. Please don't do any love dovey crap! Please, I can't handle that, not from the Joker. Hey, but I supposedly have been sick all night...Nope not worth it.

"I'm hungry. Dinner. Now." Joker said coldly. I held in a sigh of relief.

"Of course Mistah J." She answered smiling broadly, though my smile was much larger by comparison when the Joker gave a obvious shudder. Maybe tomorrow I could call him Puddin'...yeah no that was a line I didn't want to cross. She ran back into the room she came from, only to come out seconds later with a tray of food. But it wasn't much.

"What's this?" Joker glared at her.

"It's all we had money for." She whimpered.

"Well soon we'll have enough money to buy a feast cooked for kings." Joker smiled at her.

"So you've decided on the kids?"

"Two, siblings. The Wayne adoptees." He smirked.

She began squealing," Really? They'll fetch a pretty price!" I rolled my eyes thoroughly unimpressed with the possibility of my kidnapping. Been there done that.

"I know. I have them both in my class, and it won't be too long before I can give them both detention, keep them after school, and then there as good as mine. Whaddya think a billion each?"

I scoffed at the idea, though Bruce could pay it, he wouldn't. Especially since we could escape, by now we had no excuse in either persona.

"What was that?" Joker turned his head around the room, looking for the source of the noise I had created. I decided it was high time for me to leave and so I simply got up, turned to Joker and smiled.

"Sorry to dash, but.." I looked at him then ran out the door. I could hear him yelling and his footsteps trying to catch me, but he was all brains, no speed. I maid it out of the alley and up the first fire escape I saw. I then went home vi roof, not my favorite way, but practical for the moment.

I crept into the house and up the stairs to my room, only to find Dick standing there with his arms crossed.

"I don't remember telling you to follow the Joker."

"Stop pretending to be Bruce, it doesn't suit you." I rolled my eyes at him. He continued glaring at me.

"You're not sick."

"Thank you Sherlock."

"What did you find out?"

"We're gonna be kidnaped again."

"Okay then. I'll pass the information onto the team, in the meantime, Bruce wants to see you."

"He can see me in the morning. It's midnight and I have homework. I have training with him in the morning anyway, he can spend it yelling at me as opposed to assaulting me."

"You don't know that he'll yell at you." Dick tried to be encouraging.

"Like hell I don't. What else is he gonna do, have a tea party with me?" I asked.

"Well good luck sis" Dick smiled and left me alone.

"I'm gonna need it."
