Okay, this is it. This is the end. Thank you guys for sticking with me this long. I would still appreciate long, descriptive reviews on what you like and what you didn't. I love you guys! Long live the Doctor!
This was a pretty stupid thing to say. If his point was to see if he could make me mad, it worked. Well. I flew within an inch of his face and lifted my lips to reveal my long fangs. "Touch them, and I will make your entire existence a living Hell. It doesn't matter where or when you go, I will hunt you down. I am Time; I can follow you from before space existed to the ends of the universe and beyond."
But I hadn't thought through what I had done. He put a hand on my throat and pain like nothing I had ever experienced spread through me. I realized I was seeing memories. Memories of everyone the Cybermen had ever converted. So much pain…so much. I felt like this was going to go on forever.
But then I felt something, someone, pushing between me and the Cyberplanner. Suddenly, the pain was gone. I opened my eyes to see a creature like me between the Cyberplanner and me. I saw the silver markings on her side and translated it to a name I couldn't repeat, but I recognized her: it was Idris. He's mine, I told her. She backed off a bit. I stared at him, lying on the ground with a shocked look on his face.
"Goodbye Cyberman." I said and shrieked. The noise was full of Time energy and rocketed through him and to all of the Cyberiad, killing them all. He screamed and then collapsed. I ended my shriek. I had just killed the entire Cyberiad. I heard the door open and saw River rush in. She stopped dead and her eyes widened when she saw me and Idris and the doctor. I bowed my head and flew back so she could see him. Go to him, he needs you. I whispered to just her. She slowly started forward, and, seeing it was safe, ran to him. She lifted up his face as he started to struggle back to consciousness. I used my energy to shift down to a human form and Iris did the same. His implants were gone, of course. He opened his eyes and looked up at River, who was crying with joy. River helped him up and then kissed him. He turned to me.
"Kate, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
"I understand why you did it. I forgive you." and then I ran up and hugged him.
"What will you do?" he asked when I finally let go.
"What you do. Go around the universe helping everyone." I laughed. "It's a job that will never be finished."
He suddenly looked sad. "Won't you miss everyone?"
"I'll leave a note explaining everything. And I do mean everything. They'll understand." I felt a bit sad, but I knew it would be okay in the end.
"What do we do with your body?" he asked, and then laughed a bit.
I just shrugged. Then he leaned down and kissed me. On the lips. I was thoroughly shocked. He pulled away,
"Well that was a bit awkward in front of your wife." I said. He laughed. I looked around him to see River smiling.
We all walked back to the TARDIS in silence. When we got there I turned to Idris.
"Thank you for everything. Will I see you again?"
"You can come in the TARDIS anytime you want." she said. I watched with everlasting wonder as she shifted to her ethereal form. Before going back into the TARDIS, she swirled around the Doctor, who smiled the biggest smile I'd ever seen. Then she was gone. I turned and gave River and the Doctor a hug.
"I will miss you all so much." I said. "goodbye." and I felt myself change and shift. And then I saw the whole of the universe, every universe, at every time, and everything that ever was, ever is, and ever will be.
And all the adventures after this are too great to write, and they go on forever and forever, in every universe and every time.
The End
